"Witness my ultimate success with your own eyes."

[Hahaha, you’re quite confident]

Grand Scholar Kerraith heard Ian’s words and instead of getting angry, he laughed: [Do you think you are destined to win just because I didn’t use my Fifth Energy Level powers?]

If anyone else had said such words, even the Twin Pontiffs and the Grand Guardian, he would consider them to be boasting. Even if they could win, it wouldn’t be absolute. Where does such confidence co from in one’s opponent?

But the one speaking was Ian, the ultimate victor of Terra, the one who completed the Path of Reincarnation, so Kerraith didn’t find it wrong for Ian, at the Fourth Energy Level, to consider himself certain of victory when facing a Fifth Energy Level Split Soul.

[I am not skilled in combat, so your enemies will never be ]

As his words fell, Kerraith’s Split Soul disappeared: [Your enemies are others, and ’yourself’]

[Even your distant past selves, those versions of you far more powerful than you are now!]

In an instant, countless phantasms erged in the sky. These phantasms, linked to the energy sources of the Silver Sky Gateway and the City of Knowledge, began to rapidly solidify—it was the images of the emissaries of various nations and The Eight Great Spirelords.

And the leading phantasm, white-haired and holding a sword, imparted an unparalleled sense of oppression just by its appearance. This pressure caused nurous cracks to appear in the Firmant of the City of Knowledge, which had turned crimson from its nurous connections to the Abyss.

And Kerraith’s voice sounded in the void: [Prove it, ’Ian of the present’]

[Prove that you are stronger than the ’original Ian’, otherwise, your Path of the Dao is all empty talk, and victory will never co before you]

At the sa ti.

City of Knowledge, outside the Silver Sky Gateway.

"The montum of the demonic invasion has slowed, likely because several Abyssal Lords were slain, causing them to beco wary."

At the front lines of the Four Great Orthodox Churches, battling against the myriad demon armies to protect the common people on the floating islands of the City of Knowledge, the Clerics were engaged in intense discussion: "The internal conflict among the Fifth Energy Level of the City of Knowledge seems likely to resolve itself within seven days, and the Grand Guardian should erge victorious."

The Holder of the Huai Guang Office reported his intelligence solemnly, while the Cleric from the Spiritual Tool Church laughed: "Of course, especially since we recently had a technical exchange with the Guardian—He has now completed the transformation into the ’Omnipotent Nanocolonial Ship’ from the pre-era civilization plan, with the ability to utilize the skills of successive Tower Masters and Chief Scholars from The Grand Library, among others."

"Grand Scholar Kerraith may be incredibly talented, but facing the entirety of The Grand Library alone, the outco is already determined."

At this mont, a thunderous explosion echoed from outer space, drawing everyone’s gaze upward. They saw a massive pattern appear in the orbit of Terra’s satellite, resembling the Manjushage or a kaleidoscope—a pattern of flowers, each petal a mirror reflecting all the shadows of a single being across different possibilities, as if attempting to exhaust every facet of understanding to seek the truth behind it.

The terrifying Aether stirred space-ti, and the energy it released ford this totem-like spectacle.

This was the mystical phenonon displayed when a Fifth Energy Level combatant exerted their full power, akin to an Aether True Body, proving that a Fifth Energy Level combatant was burning life in battle, and the creator of this phenonon was naturally Kerraith.

In response, echoing with rolling thunder across the sky, another precise circular pattern composed of innurable orderly geotric shapes appeared in mid-air. This pattern seed to contain nothing, yet held everything—from the primal campfire and wheel to carbon fire and forge, all creations of humans seed to find their phantom within, whether towering ga-structures or minuscule nanomotes, the massive battleships, skyscrapers, and sky-reaching towers, everything unfolded within this circle.

To face Kerraith’s determination, the Guardian also gave it their all.

The two patterns intertwined, erupting with a roar that shook half the continent.

This is what it ans to be a Fifth Energy Level combatant—in no part of this planet could they fully manifest their power; only above the firmant can they display their majestic form beyond the mundane.

On this night, under the dominion of the City of Knowledge, countless towers, dozens of grand cities, and 1.3 billion people all raised their heads to gaze at the firmant.

The elusive flowing lights in the sky, the massive mystical phenona, interwove and surged in the void beyond the stars as if imbued with life.

Like two colossal gods dueling, or two behemoths tearing into each other.

A hundred and fifteen years gone by, it was again the mont to decide the future course of the City of Knowledge. Parents held their children close; children tightly gripped their elders’ hands. They had grown accustod to tranquility yet understood the inevitability of turmoil. They couldn’t comprehend what those exalted figures were truly fighting for, but they grasped that all of it was intimately connected to them.

Yet, at this very mont.

A sword’s light suddenly pierced the dichotomy of light and dark, shredding demons and blood-red warnings, illuminating the entire City of Knowledge.

And within this sword light, a shadow of a dark-golden dragon was sent flying back.

"Ian, to the left!"

Inside the dragon’s belly, Yisen Gard’s eyes glead with golden-green brilliance, and following his prompt, Ian imdiately maneuvered the dragon body to evade.

In the next instant, a pitch-black sharp sword descended towards the location where the dragon’s wings had previously been, with the force and speed seemingly capable of cleaving through space!
