The village of Embrace Light not only has solar panels but also a large-scale energy storage system, quite scientific reservoirs, and basic purification facilities. Wells are scattered throughout the village, and although there are no streetlights on either side of the city, there are Moonlight Cedars whose leaves can emit a fluorescent glow.
Within the village, there are solar-powered water heaters and heating stoves; so villages even have communal kitchens where specialized chefs are responsible for everyone’s als. Supplies are not scarce and could even resemble a buffet style because the chefs accurately calculate everyone’s preferences, ensuring the als are perfectly consud each ti.
Moreover, in a village by the small river, there is even a semi-open swimming pool—this village has spared no effort to prevent children from drowning accidents, and people from nearby villages also co over to play and maintain the pool together.
"It’s very different from the Holy Mountain I imagined..."
Yisen Gard was quite surprised, the blond youth paused for a mont and gazed from afar at the children playing in the pool, "I always thought life on the Holy Mountain would be impoverished and dull, which was why people would leave for adventures in the Tara Confederation... But now it seems, isn’t this life full of enjoynt? Why would anyone leave?"
"There are several reasons—firstly, life here is indeed considered carefree, but not everyone can live rely on comfort."
Ian gazed into the distance alongside Yisen Gard, initially quite surprised but later with a contemplative expression. Only now did he speak up, "Secondly, these villages are located alongside Dawn Avenue, aning their external trade is most convenient."
"Moreover, there’s no mineral mining here, making it generally challenging to repair these tech products, but due to the proximity to the road, these villages can trade with outsiders for basic materials to perform repairs and maintain such a carefree life."
"In other words, the Holy Mountain hasn’t completely isolated itself, requiring external goods."
"And then..."
Ian looked farther into the distance, "Those willing to leave here aren’t many."
"Working from sunrise to sunset, days are peaceful and stable, entertaining with friends and family, occasionally visiting other places. Most people, those without many desires, will surely think the Holy Mountain is Paradise and wish to grow old here. Even those with smaller desires, upon seeing such a life, may gradually assimilate."
"But life isn’t just about existing... Settling on the Holy Mountain for an entire life, from birth to death, surely so would feel discontent. It’s not about not accepting diocrity; it’s about wanting to see more beautiful sceneries, et more people, see more things and stories."
"This curiosity drives people to leave. Similarly, those who aspire to excel, to be praised and admired, will leave the Holy Mountain."
"Desire, ambition, cravings, and dreams... they are all the sa."
"Because of the Holy Mountain’s system, it cannot accommodate these people... They disrupt order and disturb tranquility."
Thus said, the crowd saw in a small village, a new household is building a new house.
Theoretically, even in Harrison Port, constructing a new house requires a construction team to co over, wanting to build one’s house alone only results in simple wooden huts, easily damaged or corroded.
But in villages under the rule of the Holy Mountain, there are no construction teams or leaders, many people, perhaps the newcor’s parents and friends, and quite a few villagers gathered together.
So brought wood, so brought tools, so brought stones, so brought food... So even brought their harmonicas, playing cheerful tunes.
Everyone helped with the construction together, digging foundations, compacting the earth and stones, stabilizing beams and columns, and by around noon, thanks to the average high physical strength of Terra People, the house’s general frawork was accomplished.
The host also prepared plenty of bread, jam, and so roasted at to entertain the helpers, without any requests for ’material fees’.
Because here, everyone helps others build houses, and when they want to build a house, everyone will help them too.
Collaboration. Pure collaboration. This relationship, for most Terra People, is unimaginable, but the residents of the Holy Ground are accustod to it.
Perhaps, only those who grew up here would help others without hesitation, even feeling it was ’natural’.
[It’s normal]
In response, the Frozen Fish Tutor felt it was quite common: [We Fae are like this too!]
Everyone turned to look at the Red Tiger Whale—these extraordinary beings which don’t need food, what were they saying? Each fae could live alone in the world, so the society they ford would naturally be like this!
But humans can’t, because individual humans lacking enough skills cannot live alone in this cruel world. Unless soone paves the road for them, constructs a paradise, otherwise, humans will inevitably form societies, creating a massive group, and establish nurous classes to support its operation...
"No!"
Ian suddenly beca alert, "Who is speaking?"
[It’s us]
A calm, youthful voice, like a boy and girl whose voices have yet to change, sounded: [Mahdi Ravine... Ian Silverpeak. It’s us who are speaking with you]
