Now reading: Chapter 1742 - 340: The Reason to Become King of Terra from Above The Sky, a Fantasy novel by Gloomy Sky Hidden God.

This is troubleso. Ian feels that ultimately, he still needs to consult the Dragon King—when he has the ti, and after the Dragon Kings and the Voidrealm Machine God have dealt with those rampaging demons.

Moreover, it’s not just that...

Ian recalls the many visions he saw within the Silver Sky Gateway.

Among the myriad future paths, Ian saw a vision of himself searching the outer orbit of Terra Star for possibilities but being beaten to it by soone else.

By now, Ian knows that the one who obtained that opportunity was none other than Second Prince Michael of The Empire.

Theoretically, it was rely the Top Seat’s Blood left by the True Dragon of the past, but what if, within that blood, lies the authority of an Ancestral True Dragon?

Although it couldn’t be all of it, at least a portion, right?

—This matter, too, will have to be learned from Michael eventually.

Moreover, if Inega II were still alive, the Setal Imperial Family would have already obtained three portions of the authority... at least, they could be said to have gained a little over two!

This progress is already quite pleasing!

Recording this matter, Ian quietly listened as the Terra Dragon spoke of the final authority.

[The final authority lies within you all]

All exchanges were ntal, occurring in an instant. The lingering shadow calmly said: [To be exact, it resides in the ’collective subconscious of Terra Humans’]

[Only with the acknowledgnt of the collective subconscious of Terra Humans will the Perpetual Motion Machine manifest]

"The collective subconscious of humans?!"

Hearing this, Ian couldn’t help but widen his eyes in disbelief. "The approval of all humans? Approve what?"

[The collective acknowledgnt of humans to allow the initiation of the Ethereal Crystal Perpetual Motion Machine]

The words of the dragon shadow were calm, but the truth revealed was like a tempest: [At least, it requires the majority approval of humans for the Ethereal Crystal Perpetual Motion Machine to respond to this consciousness and be activated]

[Future Prophet, you cannot imagine the moral consciousness of humans in that era, nor can you fathom the love and respect The Creator has for all living things and all wise beings—the Ethereal Crystal Perpetual Motion Machine, designed to transform all worldly things and even the universe itself with the Aether Array, requires not only the permission of power but also the consent of the empowered]

[As long as more than half of humans harbor rejection in their hearts, the Ethereal Crystal Perpetual Motion Machine cannot be activated]

Ian held back.

He refrained from asking absurd questions like ’What if I killed off that half of the dissenters?’ ’Can brainwashed humans be counted?’ ’Your morals are great, I admit you are lights of noble civilization, but if I altered the definition of humanity, declared myself the only orthodox pure-blood human, and claid others were not human, how would your Ethereal Crystal Perpetual Motion Machine respond?’

Ian asked earnestly: "Then if they are unaware, is it considered abstention?"

[You must inform all humans of the existence of the Ethereal Crystal Perpetual Motion Machine]

The shadow of the Terra Dragon said lightly: [Prophet, I know, you might find this demand excessive... it could be seen as interrupting the unique advantage of a prophet]

[But this is the reality]

[If less than ninety-five percent of humans know of the existence of the Ethereal Crystal Perpetual Motion Machine, it can never manifest in this world]

Upon hearing this, even Ian fell silent.

He fully understood, or rather, he greatly agreed with the Star God’s caution.

That’s right; this is precisely what he envisioned for the Star God.

Only when everyone is inford, and the majority agrees, will they, possessing infinite might capable of altering space-ti itself, lend aid to the Terra People and other Spark civilizations in building the Cradle.

If the Terra People don’t consent, they will take the Spark of the Terra People and venture to another place willing to accommodate them to build a Cradle.

However, the Terra People will likely consent—the golden age, rembered by the Huai Guang Church and the Huai Guang Swarm, attests to that.

Embracing the brilliance of that civilization, the Huai Guang cherish the light in darkness, hoping for new radiance to erge from the twilight of the forr era.

And so things, like the Perpetual Motion Machine, can only arise in the light.

"All of Terra must know of the Perpetual Motion Machine..."

Thinking this, Ian couldn’t help but feel a slight urge to laugh: "Oh my, does this an I must proactively disclose the details of the Perpetual Motion Machine to all of Terra’s powerful beings... and then compete with them for it?"

[If your era is still one of war and division]

The Terra Dragon’s tone carried a trace of sympathy: [Then indeed, you must defeat everyone]

[This indeed is an imnsely arduous task, one not possible in a single generation... Prophet, perhaps you could wait. Bury the secret, wait for the passage of ti, and once your forces unify the world, you might then reveal this news]

[By then, your plan might be completed by the hands of your successors, and this is the essence of civilization and inheritance]

"No."

Yet Ian shook his head: "I laugh, not because I find it absurd."

In the spiritual realm, the white-haired prophet lifted his head, eting the dragon’s gaze, his smile bright and sunny: "I just find it amusing how much this aligns with my original goal."

"Unifying the world, one always needs a reason—I only ever wanted to gaze at the stars, a goal that could convince but not others."

"Just as Huai Guang rely wished to assist mankind, to build an era of great harmony—this is a dream incomprehensible to ninety-nine percent of this world."

With that, Ian raised his head, and a Cross Star Crown appeared above him, the gemstone of the ’Guiding Star’ resplendent: "So, why not cloak it in a simple guise."

"Let everyone presu I seek to acquire the Perpetual Motion Machine..."

"And then, beco the King of Terra."
