After the forr learned that Ian had killed the Wing General, they knew things were going awry. They had been drained of their Spirit Substance by the Wing General and had long beco weak and frail. Escaping into the wild would only make them prey for other beasts, so they simply gave up and followed Ian. At least they could live a little longer. Who knew if Phantom Sun might just treat them like a fart and let them go?
As for the latter... the reason they chose to follow Ian was quite straightforward.
They were subdued.
"For whatever reason, all of you are willing to join my Dragon Worship Cult."
On the blue high platform, the Glazed-Glass Dragon leaned against its bladed wings, overlooking the many beasts either bowing or showing their bellies below. Ian, who was long used to this sight, said calmly, "Since you all are willing to abide by my rules and have persisted until now, I will fulfill my promise."
"I will teach you ways to beco stronger."
Upon hearing these words, the weaker Magical Beasts mostly nodded along in agreent, showing their approval. However, those who had been subdued later on had their eyes (or many eyes) light up, looking expectantly at the Crystal Dragon on the platform.
All the beasts present were aware that the Glazed-Glass Dragon before them was no easy target. Over the past month, several waves of probing and attacking forces had been sent by the Wing General, but all were eliminated by this Crystal Dragon, which aside from being beautiful had no apparent hard strength, no fangs, and no thick hide—it only used its tail to strike, without deploying any Sublimation Skills.
And this powerful Crystal Dragon did not establish a territory or build a kingdom, but rather founded a peculiar ’Dragon Worship Cult’.
Speaking of dragon worship, in reality, even this na was coined in private by the Magical Beasts below, with Ian casually accepting it. All Ian required was that all Magical Beasts follow his rules.
As for his rules, they were simple: do not eat other wise creatures, better yet, do not eat at at all, but instead consu a high-energy organic nutrient solution made from seaweed, mushrooms, and an unusual fungus.
Apart from ’abstaining from eating at’, the Magical Beasts had to ditate every day, empty their minds, and seek their true selves.
This was the doctrine of ’Dragon Worship Cult’.
This was indeed difficult.
Though Wise Magical Beasts had wisdom, they were far from reaching a state of ’tranquility’, especially with not eating at or hunting. Drinking that insipid-tasting high-energy organic nutrient solution every day, when ditating, the mind would be filled with various flavors of flesh and food.
Many Magical Beasts thought Ian was mocking them and planned to attack Ian, while others wanted to leave this strange ’Dragon Worship Cult’.
As for the forr, they naturally died. The latter, Ian graciously sent them off.
And those Magical Beasts that persisted are now before them.
Their strength and wisdom might not be the best, but they indeed had the most perseverance and were the most capable of using their ’wisdom’ to overco their bodily ’instinct’.

"You might be curious as to why I have gathered you, these weaker Magical Beasts, here, and why, unlike other Magical Beast Generals and Lords, I do not oppress or exploit you, nor regard you as food or as flesh and blood property for and my offspring."
Ensuring that all Magical Beasts’ attention was on him, Ian nodded in satisfaction. "The answer is simple: because their way cannot possibly dominate the entire New Continent."
"How strong can a single Magical Beast race be? Facing one type of Magical Beast in battle, it’s too easy to target or avoid its strong points. Even if it temporarily secures a high position by virtue of innate talent and luck, it’s destined to be overthrown."
"Only a collective composed of many different Magical Beasts, an alliance made up of enough different powerful Magical Beasts, can achieve the effect of one plus one being greater than two, and beco the true ruler of the New Continent."
"Therefore, rather than establishing a Beast Kingdom connected by Bloodline, I wish to establish an organization sustained by spirit and Inheritance."

At this mont, a confused voice sounded from the crowd of Magical Beasts. It was a male deer, nervously shaking its antlers. [But indeed, there is a distinction between strong and weak among beasts... The weak cannot beat the strong, and battles among powerful Magical Beasts are fundantally not for us weaker ones to participate in.]

They were all weaker Wise Magical Beasts that had chosen to accept the Wing General’s protection, otherwise, they would quickly die in the wild.
"Therefore, I will impart power to you."
Ian raised his tail, pointing to one side. "Pipa, Big Iron, show them the power you gained this month."

The Blue-White Squirrel and Black-White Raccoon stepped out from the group of Magical Beasts with serious expressions. They were quite well-known, having frequently been dispatched by the forr Wing General, and were familiar among the surrounding Magical Beasts.
So, all the Magical Beasts knew that their power was indeed not strong, just barely touching the edge of what Humans defined as First Energy Level; any Magical Beast that could survive in the wild was stronger than them.
But now, these two small, forrly talentless and weak Magical Beasts, who had never shown any potential before, stood at the center of the grand hall, watched by all the Magical Beasts.
