Now reading: Chapter 181 - 181 170 Fairy Wings 23 from Above The Sky, a Fantasy novel by Gloomy Sky Hidden God.

181: Chapter 170: Fairy Wings (2/3) 181: Chapter 170: Fairy Wings (2/3) Fae are a kind of pure spirit energy creature, whose material form is composed of various Origin Quality materials and attribute substances—in other words, the materials of a Fae are highly adaptive to spirit energy.

This is an advantage, but it also ans that the materials for making a Fairy Potion are more difficult than ordinary Magical Beasts potions, especially since Ian now wants to make a Demi-Magic Potion that needs to fuse with the True Form of the Wave Singer’s Sublimation Organ.

This requires the use of so spirit energy plant materials.

The Redwood Core Sap from the Nanling Giant Sequoia Forest is such a spirit energy material.

Pure Life Essence coexisting with the innate spirit energy harmony of the Forest Sea can blend the conflicts of different Demonic Beast Materials within most True Form Magical dicines.

It is an extrely rare material among First Energy Level materials.

However, the effective components of Redwood Core Sap, or rather, the effective components of most plant-based magical dicines, cannot be processed with heat.

Typically, cold-precipitation or vacuum low-temperature distillation is used for refinent.

When the vacuum rotary evaporator started, extracting Redwood Core Sap, Ian was in the process of deconstructing the entire fairy’s Sloughed Feathers.

He was very familiar with the deconstruction of the Water Attribute Fairy’s Sloughed Feathers because it was akin to an airplane wing.

He easily divided it into upper and lower panels, skin mbranes, and the internal support structures—the Unlting Ice, which served as the core material, was extrely robust, while the Levitating Dustsand as the internal core structure, made what should have been sowhat heavy feathers, lighter than cicada wings.

“Actually, it’s quite absurd.

Wings need a fuselage to have their real effect, and furthermore, to generate lift, a specific engine and jet direction are needed…”

While using pure silver tools to dissect materials in a dust-free workspace, Ian muttered, “If the image of the Fae is like that cute little person in the picture books, then how do they hover in mid-air?

With flapping wings?

That’s too weird…

wait a minute.”

As he talked to himself, he suddenly thought of how Viscount Grant looked when he was flying…

The scene of the other controlling steam levitation suddenly made Ian realize, “So that’s it, Water Attribute uses steam or fine mist spray for propulsion?

With a Sublimator’s output, lifting a person is really a breeze, not to ntion such a small-sized Fae, which could easily reach subsonic speeds…”

“That being the case, Fae could also change their body shape during flight.

Therefore, with the strength and durability of First Energy Level, achieving constant subsonic cruising or even supersonic speed is not impossible!”

No wonder there are so few humans on the Terra Continent who have captured Fae.

The thought of a small spirit energy creature that can subsonically cruise at the First Energy Level is quite terrifying.

After disassembling the materials, Ian began the refinent of the Origin Structure…

This was actually the simplest part.

The most difficult was to completely dissect the material, which would surely result in so damage to the Origin Structure by an alchemist without a chanical engineering background, leading to flaws in subsequent advancents.

There are four common thods for the Alchemy extraction of essences.

One is to cover with high-density Earth Attribute Origin Quality materials and wait for it to ‘crystallize’.

One is to ignite with pure fire and ‘sublimate’ the material.

One is to control the temperature and pressure to ‘condensate’ the material.

The last one is to use Pure Water to assist pressurization and cause the material to ‘precipitate’.

Beyond these, there are more difficult ‘transmutation’ and ‘fusion’ processes, which use special ans and Spirit Energy Fields to upgrade the original material or to fuse it with other materials into a new, higher-level material.

For Water Attribute materials, the natural thing is to use Pure Water to allow the Origin Structure to naturally precipitate out.

This is the most conventional, and universally gentle, thod of refining.

The Origin Structure of Ian’s Magical dicine Ingredients, which had both water and earth attributes from the chest gland of the Swamp Crocodragon, was obtained by Hiliard using Pure Water to precipitate it out, without affecting the integrity of its Earth Attribute structure.

Ian’s workshop naturally had a supply of Pure Water.

Although it was only triple-distilled, it was sufficient, after all, he didn’t have Second Energy Level and couldn’t obtain Pure Water through electrolytic combustion, even using the electrical Spirit Energy Field of Sigh Cliff.

After placing the disassembled Sloughed Feathers into the Pure Water vessel, he set it to ‘rotate’—Ian hadn’t forgotten that there was a portion of Levitating Dustsand in the feather material.

Although that material was in small amounts, it still had to be separately extracted and integrated with the Origin Quality in the final step.

Making a magic potion was a protracted process, especially the purification of redwood core sap.

After Ian had prepared the other auxiliary materials in advance, such as the Northwest Ice Algae Solution and the luminous quality of phosphorescent algae, he sat off to the side, operating the origin quality of the ‘Wave Singer’ True Form to ready himself for the subsequent dication.

Before that, he initiated the Foresight View.

“Hmm, deep blue with a tinge of purple, very successful,” the youth nodded slightly.

Ian’s potion making could be described as seamless.

After all, he was soone who had prepared and experinted with many magic potions on his own, not to ntion the assistance of the silver chip.

In fact, with preparation, he was capable of executing precise operations down to the millisecond—a swiftness achievable through the silver chip bypassing human neural constraints.

As his power increased in the future, this precision would improve even further.

Ti passed, and once all the basic materials had been fully extracted and turned into a ‘matrix,’

Ian proceeded with pure water as the carrier unit, placing all the magical dicine ingredients inside a flask-shaped vessel, and then using his water attribute essence to stir them.

Instantly, the cyan redwood core sap, the ice-blue essence of fairy origin structure, the light gray levitating dustsand, the deep blue Northwest Ice Algae Solution, and the greenish-white luminous quality of the phosphorescent algae all rged into one, spinning rapidly within a vortex.

Eventually, under the catalysis of Ian’s essence, they gradually combined into a sea-blue semi-transparent solution, exuding an ice-cold and incredibly clear and pure feeling.

It was like the quintessence of a frozen ocean.

“Now is the mont.”

Ian was well aware that a demi-magic potion was not a complete magic potion, its structure was unstable and could not be stored for extended periods.

Therefore, it had to be consud imdiately after its creation, or else the materials would quickly separate, undoing this fragile rged state.

The blue magic potion inside the flask swirled, carrying a sense of light ascension, with faint traces of blue-grey light flowing above the liquid, sketching out the vague traces of origin structure and inscriptions.

Ian lifted the demi-magic potion and drank it.

This was a very familiar sensation; the silver chip neural network within his prepared secondary stomach was ready and waiting, full of stored essence.

As soon as the fairy demi-magic potion arrived, the youth rapidly operated his essence, imprinting it on the silver chip at the fastest speed.

Hum!

Instantly, within the workshop, along with Ian’s breathing, a misty water vapor began to spread slowly.

One could even see tiny particles of water-blue light floating and spinning in the air, prompting the fog to rise and then disappearing into his body with every breath.

Sounds like the waves of a high tide surged within Ian’s body, but they were very subtle, not like the majestic tide of the Southern Sea; instead, they were almost imperceptible, gentle and smoothing, light and flowing…

the sound of a cloud mist tide!

The sound arose from the youth’s chest and abdon, then, following the operation of essence, twinkled along the entire neural network of his body, finally solidifying on his back, at the site of the rhomboid muscles.

Before long, as the essence on Ian’s back coalesced, two ‘neural nodes’ condensed there from the silver neural network.

The water vapor that had been scattered throughout the workshop was all drawn back, beginning to circle around the youth and subtly bringing a sense of upward lift.

Opening his eyes, Ian revealed a smile.

His experint had succeeded.
