He thought this way, and did it this way.
In doing so, sixty years passed.
Sixty years flew by in the blink of an eye. The Fiery Fla Land and The Empire finished their desert war, The Empire’s Black Sun and The Unyielding Fortress vanished without a trace, the Azure Sky Royal Court switched Khans, Canaan Moore erupted in three civil wars, and Yanjiang even changed its capital.
Did Ulan succeed?
No.
The New Continent is still dominated by Magical Beasts, and the humans’ exploration teams are still unable to traverse the entire New Continent. This vast land is still filled with countless unresolved mysteries, and Ulan’s own cultivation has been stalled; after sixty years, he still hasn’t reached the peak of the Fourth Energy Level.
However, Ulan did not fail either. Every autumn, Dawn Harbor is surrounded by golden wheat fields, and several semi-enclosed sea fish ponds have appeared in the surrounding sea areas. With the help of tidal energy and geothermal heat, the Far Shore Islanders on the New Continent no longer lack resources, have heating in winter, and fans in sumr.
And in the eyes of the Far Shore Island at ho, the New Continent is no longer a barren place of exile or their last resort without hope but a future that they need to seriously consider, filled with hope that makes all hearts lift with anticipation.
All this is thanks to Ulan’s sixty years of hard work.
The man who once bore great ambition and a heart full of indignation has turned into an elder with gray hair and a withered appearance. He cultivated the New Continent’s rock wheat, Iron Bone Fish, and moss mushroom, allowing everyone to have enough to eat, energy to use, and live in peace and contentnt. In truth, if Ulan wished, he could have severed ties with the Far Shore Island during the ti when it paid little attention to the New Continent, and beco a king on his own as the leader of an independent force.
But was that truly his dream?
When the Lord of Dawn City, Far Shore Island’s Governor for the New Continent stood once again on the high tower of the port, gazing out into the distant central lands of the New Continent, he would certainly recall the afternoon he first arrived at Dawn Harbor sixty years ago.
"I originally wanted to prove that Tutor Halez choosing Gride over was a mistake. I aid not only to create an excellent pioneering land for Far Shore Island but also to prove that my abilities surpassed Gride’s, so I could represent the future of the Far Shore Island."
"And now, the New Continent has indeed beco the future of Far Shore Island. Gride represented Azure Star personally to thank and announced that if I wanted, the first large city in the New Continent would be nad after ."
"And I witnessed Azure Star over these decades maintaining the order of Far Shore Island, gradually restoring vitality to a holand on the brink of collapse."
"Perhaps Tutor Halez wasn’t wrong, but I have also proven myself."
"And now, I am just one task away from achieving my dream."
Now.
In the spring of Terra Year 776, an elite army was advancing across the boundless plains of the New Continent.
Though the army was small in number, every mber piloted an Armor Suit, and even those who weren’t had Exoskeleton Armor to wear.
Different armor units, so aerial and so ground, long-range and close-range, sporting varying degrees of firepower, with pilots each skilled in their respective fields. They cooperated seamlessly, worked in perfect harmony, trained for years in the dreams induced by the Dreaming Device. mbers of this army had already faced all the enemies they knew, overco all difficult and complex terrains—they were the elite among the elite, the Iron Army that could even surpass nightmares.
Silvery black and gray tal shadows advanced in unison over mountains and hills, crossed swamps and plains, eliminating all Magical Beasts in their path, flattening all nests, leaving behind a crude path leading to the continent’s center, where Magical Beasts trembled with fear, no creature daring to block their way.
Ulan Avaretiya looked ahead with a hazy gaze, his Aether Armant ’Hazy Leaf’ transford into a platform, lifting him high in the center of the military force.
He didn’t care about how smoothly the Nightmare Breaking Iron Army, selected carefully from Far Shore Island, crushed all the Magical Beasts and obstacles along their path. This Fourth Energy Level Sublimation Entity, who had aged prematurely due to years of combat, was reminiscing at that mont about the ordinary people he rembered over the past sixty years.
The family of a farr who worked for three generations before finally cultivating a field in the front hills.
A student who vanished mysteriously in the sea after a safety rope snapped while exploring the optimal sea areas.
A female hunter, whose husband and children were eaten by Magical Beasts, spent her life hunting evil beasts but was ultimately consud by the New Continent.
Exploration Team No. 3 that went missing with no trace after an attack by a subspace disaster.
And...
The nurous Far Shore Islanders who died on this land, so many that even he almost perished several tis under the Beast Kingdom’s probes and direct attacks.
Every ti Dawn Harbor tried to expand its territory and advance towards the center of the continent, it was t with fierce attacks from the Beast Kings.
And what about now?
In Dawn Harbor, life’s comforts have beco so excessive that the descendants of those pioneers who fought their entire lives are indulging in debauchery, opening casinos and opera houses, using geothermal energy to create hot springs, and establishing beach resorts along the coast, attracting even the high-ranking officials from Far Shore Island to co for vacations.
The Far Shore Islanders, once industrious and diligent, beca just like everyone else on the continent when they gained access to a land of comfort.
