So it was, at this mont, Ian thoroughly proved his theory — the reason Axel wanted to drive away The Unyielding Fortress was that its entire inheritance was fundantally the ’core’ of the Imperial Capital Planetary Shield Array! This was a foundational logical connection that couldn’t simply be severed by altering code!
Despite Axel spending years attempting modifications, he couldn’t solve this issue, so he was destined not to allow The Unyielding Fortress to remain in The Empire long-term, to avoid affecting his grand plan!
But even driving it away was ineffective, for as early as in the City of Knowledge, Ian had sensed the connection with the Planetary Shield Array, and a split soul of Kerraith was within his territory, ready for integration with the Planetary Shield Array.
Facing the tidal wave of light from Axel that resembled a tsunami, Ian’s gravitational field spun madly again, warping the light into a dark armored shield that twisted and split all the light waves.
anwhile, Axel’s wings vibrated, launching countless shining feathers like arrows across the sky, each traversing the vacuum of the Domain of Void, attacking body and soul; though the Aether field could create gravitational anomalies and Black Domain, it was impossible to completely block the attack from the Domain of Void!
Indeed, even Ian couldn’t handle Axel’s soul attack, who was much stronger, while focusing on controlling the Edge of Perished Sun.
But the problem was, Ian was not alone!
