Capítulo 1929: The Road Straight to the Stars_4
The King, without any followers, would have no standing in the future world—apart from the identity of Fifth Energy Level itself, His value had plumted to rock bottom. Even other Fifth Energy Level beings wouldn’t consider allying with Him because the notorious reputation of the King of Shadow Wraiths had long been infamous. Unless He started being benevolent towards humans continuously for a hundred years from now, He would swiftly beco the most unwelco and despised strong force in the future world, and no one would communicate with Him harmoniously.
This blow to self-esteem was far worse than any actual harm—thus, He genuinely felt anger and lashed out at Ian!
In an instant, sharp claws tore through space-ti, and the pitch-black shadows eroded everything around, condensing into arrays of fragnted inscriptions. The seemingly ordinary sharp claws also underwent intense transformation, coalescing into an illusory shadow warship and phantom forces.
The Yingye devoured the souls and mories of all beings, and the alien civilization fleets that once invaded their holand beca part of them after being consud. Shadows hovered, extending like thoughts, swiftly creating a cloud covering the sky, where countless warships and behemoths, the defeated foes of the Yingye, appeared, attacking Ian.
These shadow forces contained mysterious laws; Ian could see that their external forms were utterly aningless. Whether they were warships or behemoths, human soldiers, or a teorite, the shapes they transford into rely represented an aura. What mattered most was the ability to absorb and transform energy within them.
Simply put, they seed fierce and appeared to cut through everything like a sharp blade. In reality, they were a defensive power ant to counterattack. If anyone were intimidated by this aura and launched a full-blown assault, they would be devoured by the long-prepared shadow force, then wrapped up, transforming into a more potent force that would strike back unexpectedly!
But unfortunately, this little trick might fool anyone but not the Prophet.
And Ian’s attack was far from sothing He could absorb or transform.
In the eyes of everyone watching, Ian raised his sword.
He raised the “Edge of Perished Sun,”
The pitch-black Aether Abyss spun rapidly, emitting blinding light, transforming into endless sword light. In that instant, space-ti distorted, and everyone was shocked to discover that in their view, apart from this imnse space-ti sword, they could see nothing else. The imnse gravity distorted sight, gathering all light, all images within it.
Even light could be twisted—
For a mont, as they watched coldly, waiting to see how Ian, this ‘new Fifth Energy Level,’ would fare against the King of Shadow Wraiths, the mighty forces present were suddenly struck by a thought. They recalled the previous two returning Top Seat’s Blood of Sunbird… they thought it was Michael exhausting Axel with the power of the Ancient True Dragon, with Ian rely aiding from the side. But now… was his Unyielding Fortress nearing the prowess of the First Knight of old…
There was no ti to ponder further.
The King of Shadow Wraiths suddenly felt His powers disconnected from Him—it was only when He barely saw Ian raising his sword.
Looking up, the Beast of Void Extinction unbelievably witnessed a dinsional blade slicing through space-ti, heading directly towards Him, striking Him. It wasn’t until now that His sensory organs and aether sensory organs belatedly inford Him that Ian Silverpeak had just swung his sword—
But He was already struck.
The light perceived lagged behind the actual sword; the light carrying the opponent’s actions was only just set out, while the super-lightspeed dinsional blade, transcending space-ti, had already cleaved into Him.
Even perception was unable to sense; the strike was swifter than thought—how could this strike, cleaving the Perished Sun, be deflected by shadows?
Crack! A chilling wail echoed from the Dark Mountain Range, sending towering waves of pitch-black blood soaring, stirring the sky and earth.
Behind the King of Shadow Wraiths, the earth’s mountain range, rivers, hills, and forested basins all appeared with a crack that spread, splitting to the sides, dividing the entire land in two.
A rift valley was born.
“In terms of strength, you are at most on par with , but this clumsy technique, unwillingness to unleash full power initially, rely testing cautiously, destined you to fall further and further behind, ultimately becoming a re stepping stone for .”
Slowly sheathing his sword, Ian did not afford even a second of attention to the King of Shadow Wraiths. He turned his head back towards the vast Tella Continent and the beings upon it.
He could sense, with his power now revealed, that the beings of Terra, who had been hesitant, suspicious, and doubtful, were experiencing for the first ti a fervor, a trust, a baseless yearning and reverence.
The contrast was sowhat amusing to Ian, yet he did not feel disappointed, for this was Terra, this was the order of this world.
—Only power, only great power, could earn the respect of the Terra People.
—This is a civilization that has endured sixteen hundred years of calamities and attacks from alien gods, where everyone must equally bear the crisis of death’s sudden arrival. Such a world should aspire to and respect the strong, revering all who can protect them.
Just as people would revere any leader who could provide them with safe lives, peaceful, happy days, and enough food and clothing, why feel any disappointnt in that?
