"Perhaps. But from one end of the Cradle to the other is just ten light-years. If The End really wants to catch us, it could do so in an instant, right?"
"Hmm... can it catch up?"
At this mont, Ian suddenly fell into deep thought.
——Does The End have faster-than-light capabilities?
Without a doubt, yes. According to The Last Echo and the information obtained from Dragon Island, the appearance and spread of The End exceed the speed of light, and at an exceptionally high level, it doesn’t take long to extinguish an entire galaxy.
But how do they travel faster than light?
This usually doesn’t need pondering. As an invincible race even the Star Gods can’t defeat, does The End need to think about how to surpass light speed?
But in reality, it’s not so.
"The End can leave a black hole... It can breach the Event Horizon because of ’aether.’
Ian frowned deeply, feeling as if he had grasped so crucial point: "If, indeed, The End is a life form on the ti axis, then they would actually be quite unaccustod to moving on the ’spatial axis.’
"Only under the influence of aether does The End acquire its initial ability to move on the spatial axis."
Just as Ian initially speculated, for The End, the existence of aether is like an anomaly in a horror ga, allowing them to traverse space like humans travel through ti, appearing in different places, while life forms on the spatial axis appear to them as rapidly changing monsters, difficult to encounter in the sa spaceti region, occasionally flashing for a mont in so tiline.
Because of this, whether fragnts of The End or The End itself, upon encountering a black hole, they’d imdiately enter it—they finally found a stable spaceti zone, no longer facing all sorts of bizarre anomalies.
But then cos the question: They initially erged from black holes reliant on aether, their spread hinges on aether... without aether, how does The End ’move’ its spatial axis into the Event Horizon of black holes?
Ian does not know the answer to this question, but predicting possibilities is simple.
First: The End possesses the ability to act on the spatial axis without needing aether.
The End theoretically should be able to achieve this; as a civilization on par with or even surpassing Star God, if the Star God can let aether transcend ti and space, predicting many directions of past and future information, The End, if researched, could certainly find a way.
But the question remains—can each The End do this?
Individual Star Gods, as it seems now, may be at the Seventh Energy Level. If in a juvenile stage, standard conditions might be the Sixth Energy Level. But the Star God’s ability to alter the universe’s spaceti, shape Great Aether Circulation, and influence infinite parallel space-tis is certainly not encapsulated by the Seventh Energy Level.
The Sixth and Seventh Energy Levels may only be weak and ordinary mbers of the Star God race. Above this are more powerful Star God individuals, representing the apex, the ’Star God Civilization as a whole.’
The Great Aether Circulation can assist weaker Star Gods to accomplish many things they could not achieve by their own strength. This is the power of civilization, and even humans like Ian can, with the Great Aether Circulation and the Seer’s Ability, know the future or possibilities in infinite parallel space-tis.
However, without the Great Aether Circulation, just a common rural Star God, relying solely on its power, trying to transcend ti and space, to foresee the future, to sense other parallel space-tis... Ian thinks that would indeed be incredibly challenging.
If The End also had a ’Great End Circulation,’ then perhaps each The End could freely traverse the spatial axis, but for now, The End, although having defeated the Star Gods and having the ability to remove aether, has yet to create a ’Great End Circulation.’
The ordinary The End might not be as strong as imagined without the support of their civilization, possibly unable to perform ’aether-less’ spatial axis movent.
Thus, thinking the other way around, brings the second possibility.
Individual, ordinary The End, do not possess the capability to move on the spatial axis in a Non-Aether Environnt.
Therefore, another possibility arises.
——Did The End truly remove the aether, or was it the Star God who, after their defeat, voluntarily withdrew the aether?
The End, using the universally accessible aether coupled with its unique technology, defeated the aether’s Creators, the Star Gods. This is not surprising because The End used the Star God’s own strength to defeat them... But conversely, if the Star Gods completely abandoned aether, then the Star Gods and The End returned to the sa starting line!
The Star Gods severed their greatest aid, the aether of the Aether Universe, wiped out all aether in the outside universe, therefore standing with The End on the sa starting line once more!
In this way, the non-strongest batch of The End, without aether, was stranded in the ’outside universe’ without aether!
This also explains why Fragnt of Demise, when aether was thin, entered the Tera Star, transford the star into a black hole, and hadn’t erged for forty million years — it’s not just because black holes are comfortable, but also because aether beca too thin for the weak fragnt to exit the Event Horizon!
"The End stops outside the Cradle’s rupture... Is it waiting for sothing?"
Raising his head, Ian gazed toward the Cradle’s rupture, pondering, "Just as expected, without aether in the outside universe, is it unable to move?"
And if Ian’s guess is correct, the End outside the Cradle is likewise stalled for the sa reason.
