Just as Ian had prophesized, two more Sublimators with great suspicion rushed over, but they froze upon arrival.

For Ian had already powered up his alchemical water gun, and his ‘fatty accomplice’s alchemical firearm was aid at them.

It took less than a second for the taller Sublimator on the left to understand everything.

Without any hesitation, he acted, grappling his companion to immobilize him on the spot.

“Imperial Capital Mirror Sea Guard!” he blurted out his identity, while the one he had grappled…

Indeed, he was a true mber of the mysterious organization.

But, apparently, he was more confused than everyone else present: “Wait, Charlie, you’re an undercover agent?!

And Mike, Tom (all pseudonyms), you’re all undercover agents?!”

“What the hell is going on?!”

The exceptional Sublimator positioned at the rear of the car Ian was in almost imdiately broke through the door and rapidly made their way to the scene.

Their strong professional skills allowed them to fully grasp the situation as well, and they promptly raised their weapons toward their companions.

“You’re under arrest, Central Bureau of Dangerous Alchemical Products Managent!”

“Hey!

Be polite!

Truth Institute of Sublimation Agents Intelligence Division Six!”

Watching these people confront each other, Ian slowly closed his eyes.

He did not know what kind of expression he had, but it was definitely a special expression filled with complex and unusually comprehensible emotions.

Now…

I don’t want to see anything.jpg

He believed the expressions on the faces of the others present must be similar to his own.

anwhile, both Hua’an and Frost Butterfly were wearing puzzled expressions.

The world of Humans, it seems, was still a bit too complex for the Fae.

Everyone was stunned on the spot, even the Spirit Energy User who had been constantly using spirit energy to speak fell silent.

[Damn it.]

After a while, he cursed: [I thought there was one traitor, but you guys, damn it, you’re all traitors?!]

Bang!

A crisp explosion sound ca from the front of the train, and a figure swiftly broke away from the locomotive, not looking back as they fled.

They hadn’t even managed to sabotage the train’s power unit.

The other Second Level Sublimator at the front of the train, who had just advanced to the Second Energy Level, let out a vigorous voice, turning into a shadow as he chased after the figure.

Only a stern shout spread in the wind.

“Stop!

Imperial Capital Patrol Knight!”

Without a doubt, that individual, who had reached the position of second-in-command in the mysterious organization, coordinating with the Second Level Sublimator with spirit energy for this train attack plan…

was also an undercover agent!

Now, there were more undercover agents than actual mbers of the mysterious organization.

“Pursue.”

A gleam of Spirit Energy Radiance lit up in Ian’s eyes.

Once he was sure there were no more threats in the surrounding cars, he gave Hua’an a look.

Fairy Miss imdiately understood.

With such a lively scene unfolding, she definitely wanted a front-row view, so she beckoned Frost Butterfly to co closer to her.

Thump!

A dull thud resonated as Ian and Hua’an, together, shattered the train’s glass on their side.

Accompanied by Frost Butterfly, they soared in the direction where the leader of the mysterious organization and the Patrol Knight had disappeared.

Aside from that, getting Frost Butterfly accustod to the rhythm of battle and exposed to the wider world was beneficial — the little creature smiled, seeming to enjoy the excitent.

Back in the carriage, almost all of the ‘undercover agents’ and the subdued ‘mber of the mysterious organization’ were still engulfed in a feeling of sheer absurdity, not following imdiately.

The vegetation around them rushed backwards swiftly.

In pursuit of the two, Ian primarily intended to observe the battle to figure out the true identity of this self-proclaid leader of the Dragon Worship Cult.

After all, while so might manage to fake their identity under prepared circumstances, the characteristics of their Bloodline True Form revealed during battle were not as easily deceitful.

This was indeed a good idea, but there are always so unexpected outcos in this world.

For example, the battle ended very quickly, and Ian was of no help.

What a pity.

The Inspector Knight, who had just advanced to the Second Energy Level not long ago, almost effortlessly defeated the mysterious organization mber who possessed both Spirit Energy and the high order of the Second Energy Level.

Ian saw that flash of the sword.

The Inspector Knight was already in direct confrontation with the leader, sword flashes intertwining, and the faint Origin Quality colliding to create a high-temperature shockwave that spread in all directions, evaporating all the hazy rain that was falling.

The two were closely matched in strength, evenly matched—one had to be naturally godlike in strength or the leader’s Bloodline True Form not well suited for close combat, but a battle has never been solely about the magnitude of power.

The leader had a necklace around his neck, and as he spoke, he uttered a secret word.

A pale golden light sparkled, visible electricity took the form of arrows piercing through the air, bringing with it rapidly expanding air pressure, and with a bang, struck the chest of the Inspector Knight.

The power of this air pressure, had it hit an ordinary person, could have instantly blown them to pieces, not to ntion the high-voltage electricity sufficient to char soone to carbon.

But a shield, dense like a honeycomb, lit up; amidst the shifting light, the power of the Inspector Knight suddenly increased significantly.

He gave a low shout, his wrist turned to parry the leader’s sword upwards, then stepping in close, he abandoned his sword and reached out with both hands, pressing down on the leader’s shoulders.

Crack!

The sound of bones breaking was imdiate.

Blood and burst flesh splattered out together, and the leader let out a scream, the stark white broken bone fragnts resembling snapped wooden stick ends, with many shards even flying out far away.

“Wow.”

The exchange took only a few seconds, and Ian, having just arrived, couldn’t help but exclaim at the scene, “That strength is really absurd.”

Although he was not incapable of doing so, to crush a Second Level Sublimator’s flesh and blood so decisively in a direct conflict like that, the Sand Armor Apprentice also had to advance to the Second Level at the very least.

The enhancent to the body given by the Fae was nowhere near that strong…unless it was a Silver Fairy.

“It’s because he had a high-grade vector transfer shield capable of turning an enemy’s attack into his own strength, his own power isn’t that strong.”

Hua’an comnted, “The defense of this type of shield is quite lower compared to ordinary shields of the sa level, but if it’s for an ambush, it is exceptionally useful, and many Fairies also use this shield to accelerate their flight.”

Of course, this was not the end; after destroying the leader’s ability to attack with both arms, the Inspector Knight then drew an Alchemical Firearm, and without hesitation, fired three shots at the opponent’s abdon, barely blasting through his outer skin defense, exposing the inner flesh and blood.

“Colonel!

You are my deputy, are you too a traitor!?”

The Knight appeared as if he heard nothing; he drew out a pale green Alchemical Potion and directly injected it into the opponent, the leader who was still struggling was cut off without even a chance to continue his harsh words, his expression gradually slackening, “You have deceived for eight years…you…”

“I was never yours from the start, sorry about that, commander.”

The Inspector Knight smiled, his appearance was that of the harmless, good man, clearly uninterested in such feeble accusations.

The Knight tied up the leader then stood up, nodding to Ian and Hua’an Frost Butterfly, “Hello, I’m grateful you ca to help.

And to the two Fairy Misses, on behalf of the Knight Order of Inspectorate, I thank you both for your willingness to help.”

“I heard it, you’re an Inspector Knight too?” As he said this, he shook his head, looking in the direction of the speeding train, “Indeed, only our own people would think to rush to the aid, huh.”

“There’s nothing to thank for.” Ian stepped back, his gaze flickering, looking at the leader, “You defeated him easily on your own, my rushing over here is just stealing your credit.”

“I will write a report stating all this truthfully.”

“Well prepared.

Kate was never good at close combat, his Spirit Energy has no effect on , and I took the advantage by drugging him, his defeat is only normal.”

The Knight, referred to as Colonel but clearly a pseudonym, sheathed his Longsword and heaved the body of the leader Kate on his back, initially a bit wary.

It’s only normal for an undercover operative to be highly vigilant.

But seeing Ian and the Hua’an and Frost Butterfly next to him, the Knight seed thoughtful for a mont, and then with a turn to a warm smile, he cordially said to Ian, “Let’s head back to the train.

There are many unexpected matters…truly unexpected, to have so many departnts involved.”

“But because of this, the losses were much smaller than anticipated.”

Indeed.

Ian nodded slightly, thinking back to the train situation that could only be a complete undercover operation, also feeling inconceivable.

But if it were The Empire, then it wouldn’t be so inconceivable after all.
