(6200, second update)_3 And upon realizing that this Armor Suit was entirely designed by its young pilot, a genius among the White Folks, the old alchemist’s heart could only lant the difference in talent.

“Mr.

Milak, I’ve already paid the down paynt, and the raw materials will be covered by the Governor’s Mansion.”

After leaving the cockpit, Ian addressed the person in charge of the Alchemy Workshop from a distance, “How many of the templates I sent yesterday have been produced?”

The elderly alchemist nad Milak bowed slightly, “Sir, seven.

The structure of the Alchemical Firearms you sent us is very complex, and our craftsn need so ti to get familiar with it, but we should be able to complete fifty by around noon.”

“Very well.”

Ian said, “Let’s have the seven shipped out for testing.”

Milak nodded, “As you wish.”

Soon, seven Alchemical Firearms, looking more like so sort of gigantic iron boxes rather than guns, were brought before the team.

“They have been charged with Elental Crystals as per your request.

‘Charged Rifle’…

indeed, a good na.”

Milak raised his eyebrows, his gaze filled with admiration and reflection as he looked upon these Alchemical Firearms, “Actually, we’ve already tested them once…

The power is imnse, and the precision and penetration are top-notch.

Apart from a small magazine and the need to consu Elental Crystals and Alchemical Potions, there are virtually no drawbacks.”

“I heard that the main cannon of the Cyclops Giant is based on the sa principle?

I’m really looking forward to its future performance.”

“To be precise, it’s part of the principle used in the Cyclops Giant’s main cannon.

These are a downgraded version, but they suffice.”

Ian smiled, “You all will hear its na in the future.”

He turned his head toward Scott, who had a stern face but was entirely clueless inside, and said, “Pick six guys you think are reliable.

We’ll head to the testing area to check it out.”

“Yes, sir!”

Scott imdiately turned around to select a few who had shooting experience.

A few minutes later, in the testing ground behind the Alchemy Tower, Scott led the team, along with six fortunate ones brimming with excitent, standing before the target, familiarizing themselves with the operation of the Charged Rifle.

Scott, who was close to earning his certificate in chanical engineering, observed the weapon in his hands.

This was a rectangular-shaped heavy tallic firearm with a charging booster at the front, typical of Alchemical Firearms.

Usually used to fill with Panshard Sand and other electrothermal powders, it propelled heavy high-explosive projectiles at several tis the speed of sound to pierce through the defenses of Magical Beasts or so minor fortifications.

But the Charged Rifle was different; it had a convergence nozzle at the front with a ring of focusing crystals around a core prism.

They would focus the light and heat emitted from the charged and boosted potion at this spot.

Behind the convergence nozzle was a heavy magazine.

Made from high-tensile steel, it could hold four charge bottles filled with incendiary potions.

Further back was the power assembly powered by small Elental Crystals, a true piece of Alchemical weaponry.

“Even at cost price, one of these would start at twenty or thirty Talle, right?”

Scott pondered in his mind, unaware that Ian didn’t even have to pay for the raw materials, as the Governor’s Mansion was covering the expenses, and as soon as the Norman Alchemy Workshop heard it was a Governor’s Mansion order, issued directly by Colonel Majorva, they only charged the most basic labor cost.

Nonetheless, Marquis Barton’s five hundred Talle was already spent on three hundred fifty, and the remaining one hundred fifty were entrusted by Ian to the adjacent potion workshop to make the necessary potions for the ammunition.

Although there was still a small shortfall, he could cover it himself.

Despite having many thoughts, as the team leader, Scott still smoothly raised the Charged Rifle, aid, and pulled the trigger.

With a slight ‘zzt’ sound, a dazzling beam of light burst forth from the focusing crystals, hitting the target two hundred ters away.

Then, with a ‘boom’, the already lting target exploded instantly, its upper body blasted away.

“Oh?!”

The other White Folks soldiers watching this scene widened their eyes.

Although they had seen Alchemical Cannons and Alchemical Firearms before and even operated them, those required special training to aim accurately.

But if it was a beam of light…

Imdiately, the six lucky ones followed Scott’s lead and fired—the scorching beams hit their marks on the humanoid targets with precision, perfectly striking the center of the forehead.

“Amazing!”

After shooting, this White Folks soldier’s eyes were wide open as he exclaid, “There’s no need to predict the wind speed, no need to calculate the bullet drop, and no need to account for the enemy’s movent speed…

It’s as simple as point and shoot!”

“And the power is so great; it works so much better than Alchemical Firearms!”

The others hurriedly conducted their shooting tests.

The experienced shooters all marveled at how easy the Charged Rifle was to use.

The only downside was the low rate of fire and the very limited ammunition.

Nonsense.

Ian, watching this scene, couldn’t help but inwardly mock, “This thing, if made properly, would cost twenty-seven Talle, and including the potion ammunition, each shot is six Bison (0.5 Talle).

What you’re shooting is not bullets; it’s money!”

If it weren’t for Ian’s unique “Reutilization” Alchemy Skill, which allowed the sa materials to be used to produce several extra bottles, just thirty Charged Rifles being shot a few more rounds could bankrupt him.

Michael’s advice was right, it’s better to develop higher-quality potions than to spread low-end ones, but when developing one’s own territory, saving money is indeed very important.
