Similarly, each ‘pair of arms’ is a different weapon—so are Spirit Energy Shield generators, others are Multi-barrel Alchemy Cannons, and still others wield Electrothermal Axes—but no matter the type of weapon, the firepower is sufficient to suppress an entire city.
These weapons can normally be retracted into the base, which conceals an enormous arsenal of weaponry within its body, including automatic ammunition factories and intelligent fire control cores, enabling adaptation to any kind of environnt.
They are the Titan Giants of this era.
Accompanying the charge of these chanical behemoths, streams of visible Origin Mist surge across their bodies.
Lines of light, resembling circuits, begin at the crystal cores on their heads, spread throughout, and emit intermittent bursts of lightning.
This is a highly advanced Spirit Energy Shield capable of even negating the wear and tear of components.
“These are the Constructed Knights…”
Ian’s eyes shimr with a silvery cyan light, and he murmurs to himself: “These are hardly knights…
I can’t even see a pilot…
Wait?!”
Ian steadies his gaze, baffled: “There’s no body inside the construct, but there is a soul response—do all these knights consist solely of ‘souls’?!”
“They house their souls in these massive constructs, controlling these war machines?!”
Ian nearly gasps in astonishnt.
He’s now fully grasped the full aning behind the title ‘Perpetual Combat Mobile Fortress’ attributed to Constructed Knights!
Indeed, only beings of soul, those without the need for a Body, can fight endlessly.
And aren’t such massive chanical constructs practically mobile fortresses?
“Most Constructed Knights were once Fiery Ascenders who, due to accidents, suffered bodily harm and faced issues in cultivating their Bloodline True Form.
Yet with a steadfast will and intact soul, they willingly abandoned the body to rge with the ‘Spirit Machine’ and thus achieved this state.”
Gazing at the distant Constructed Knights, Elder Mantle spoke atop the Summit of the Holy Mountain, his tone deep and reminiscing a distant past: “They forsake most human instincts and intelligence, transforming themselves into bona fide soul-machines of slaughter, the most terrifying executioners, becoming ‘Knights’ of the ‘Giant War Construct Unit’, this most fearso steed!”
“Just a single Constructed Knight is capable of capturing a city!”
—More than that, it is more than enough to conquer a primitive world from the atomic age.
Admiring from his heart, Ian found the design of the Constructed Knights oddly familiar…
The Constructed Knights are clearly related to so pre-era technology, intended to confront future extraterrestrial colonization and to suppress the primitive Natives of life-bearing planets.
After the Calamity of Heavenly Fall, this technology’s prototype was acquired by Fiery Fla Land and transford into today’s dreadful war machines.
And these most dreadful war machines were now advancing towards Qiang Steel Sacred Mountain.
At this mont, Ian pondered a question.
—Strip away all prejudice and discrimination, as well as the viewpoint of hostility, what exactly is Fiery Fla Land?
He already had an answer.
Fiery Fla Land is about persistence, about combat, about repaying kindness and avenging wrongs, about the bold and careless sense of justice and the violent ruthlessness—it is the result of the Nemasis Bloodline from the tumultuous ocean waves and the Abassalom Bloodline from the mountainous hills tempering through countless wars, absorbing and assimilating each other, finally forming the well-known Fiery Fla Land under the suppression of the Setar Empire.
—Destroy what can’t be obtained, annihilate what isn’t ours.
—We are the hamr, we are the punishnt, acting under the law of Fiery Fla, wielding the sword of execution.
—Those who do not follow should be completely eradicated!
re observation could sense such an almost fanatical determination.
“Such unwavering souls…
it’s no wonder they can control these colossi with their minds and exhibit unimaginable combat strength.”
The young Lord sighed, yet without a trace of fear: “Luckily, we’re not lacking either.”
“Even better, in fact.”
Behind the young White Folks, a dark tower stood firmly amidst the thunderclouds atop the Summit of the Holy Mountain.
Visible lightning slowly encircled the prismatic tower.
The Sacrificial Fla of the Dragon God, no longer presenting as flas, was tweaked by Ian’s hand and now manifested as a straight column of white light, serving as the central energy source for the Ultra Giant Magnetic Storm Coil.
Its brilliance was obscured by the clouds, hidden in that pitch-black night.
Waiting for Ian’s command.
The Constructed Knights had reached the area where the Avod Tribe once resided.
The residents had long since evacuated, their valuables relocated, but as these iron giants rampaged by, the trembling ground split open, crushing stone houses and buildings into rubble and stirring up vast clouds of dust.
Elder Mantle watched emotionlessly until the giants reached the attack radius of the Giant Magnetic Storm Coil, then he clenched his fists: “Now?”
“Wait a mont longer.”
Ian’s eyes widened slightly, and just seconds later, as every Constructed Knight entered the attack radius of the Giant Magnetic Storm Coil, he raised his hand decisively and swung it down: “Now!”
