Now reading: Chapter 129 - 76 Golden Core 9 Transformations from Above the Great Dao, a Eastern novel by Zhai Zhu.

After the Demon Transformation incident, Chen Shi beca sowhat reluctant to approach the True King’s Tomb.

After all, rely the kiln that fired porcelain for the True King’s Tomb was this terrifying; the tomb itself must be even more fierce. What if he accidentally triggered the arrangents within the True King’s Tomb and caused a disaster or calamity? Would he not be a sinner for all eternity?

However, this ti, he had no choice but to venture into the True King’s Tomb.

He had been practicing the Three Light Righteous Qi Technique until now, always following an incomplete cultivation technique. He could beat rats, and with an iron hat, killing these rats with his strength was even easier.

But with his current strength, facing Black Mountain Grandma’s vengeance would definitely be a dead end.

"I can’t defeat the little Taoist from Luwei Town, and the little Taoist was almost killed by Black Mountain Grandma, which ans I am no match for her in front of Black Mountain Grandma. Perhaps fully mastering the Three Light Righteous Qi Technique could give a chance to survive!"

It wasn’t until late at night that Chen Shi finally returned to Huangpo Village, where he and his dog went to sleep first.

When dawn broke the next day, Chen Shi went to pray to his godmother. Bowing deeply, he said, "Godmother, bless , assist this venture into the True King’s Tomb, let obtain the complete Three Light Righteous Qi Technique!"

He stepped forward to offer incense.

Zhu Xiucai reminded him, "Little Ten, asking Godmother for blessings might not help, but if you take that Jade Seal into the True King’s Tomb, it might be sowhat useful."

"That Jade Seal? The Heavenly Treasure Seal?"

Chen Shi was surprised. Could the Heavenly Treasure Seal protect him and ensure his safe entry into the Ghost God Domain of the True King’s Tomb?

Zhu Xiucai replied, "Just take it with you; it’s not heavy anyway."

Chen Shi returned to the village, took out the Heavenly Treasure Seal to examine, and his heart suddenly began pounding. "Could this Heavenly Treasure Seal be the West King Jade Seal that Xiao Wangsun found at the Divine chanism Camp?"

The reason Jin Hongying was pursuing Xiao Wangsun was for the West King Jade Seal. Li Tianqing had also ntioned that Xiao Wangsun stole this treasure to unlock the True King’s Tomb!

"Ha, ha! This is ridiculous!"

Chen Shi couldn’t help but laugh and shake his head. The West King Jade Seal was so precious; would Xiao Wangsun casually hang this treasure on an old willow tree?

"And moreover," Zhu Xiucai said, saying that the Heavenly Treasure Seal was a broken seal from his family’s decline. If the Heavenly Treasure Seal was the West King Jade Seal, then what about Zhu Xiucai?"

Unable to hold back, Chen Shi burst into laughter, shaking his head, "Could Zhu Xiucai be a descendant of the True King? That’s completely ludicrous. Could a descendant of the West King hang themselves outside our village?"

He casually tucked the Heavenly Treasure Seal into his pocket and walked towards the True King’s Tomb.

The True King’s Tomb, eagerly sought after by countless people who had spent endless ti searching, was for Chen Shi rely a grave next to the village, easily accessible after a al and a walk.

Outside the True King’s Tomb stood the imposing Grave Guardian Beasts, solemn and majestic.

Chen Shi checked the Armored Horse Talismans on his legs, stirred his Qi-Blood, making his body below his head rapidly fill with Qi-Blood, growing half a foot taller in an instant, nearly reaching adult height.

With his preparations complete, he finally stepped into the Ghost God Domain.

The trees around him swayed, branches fluttering, undergoing a terrifying transformation, resembling twisted and coiling tendrils of Evil Spirits.

And the Grave Guardian Beasts too were becoming imnsely large at this mont, their stone bodies transforming into flesh and blood, gradually reviving and emitting an overwhelming aura.

Chen Shi hastened his pace, quickly moving forward, reaching into his sleeve to draw out the Heavenly Treasure Seal.

As soon as the seal appeared, it seed to resonate strangely with the Ghost God Domain, causing light to emit from the seal and accelerating the revival of the Ghost God Domain within the True King’s Tomb!

"The Heavenly Treasure Seal is not protecting , but awakening the Ghost God Domain! Zhu Xiucai has misled !"

Chen Shi silently cursed, feeling a terrible dread, and imdiately sprinted forward against the pressure.

A stele blocked the front of the True King’s Tomb, catching his eye—it was the very stele that had the Three Light Righteous Qi Technique inscribed on it.

The pressure around him increased even more, Chen Shi continued moving forward against this pressure, focusing to morize the text and patterns on the stele.

Just as he had expected, the inscriptions behind this stele indeed were the thods of Beidou Seven Refinents, just in more detail than what Xiao Wangsun had taught.

After the Beidou Seven Refinents, there were no Divine Altar Realm and Divine Embryo Realm cultivation thods, directly progressing to condensing Qi-Blood, managing Mana, and cultivating the Golden Core!

Chen Shi was stunned.

"Where are the Divine Altar Realm and Divine Embryo Realm? Where have these two stages of cultivation thods gone?"

His mind went blank; his purpose here was for the latter thods, yet the Three Light Righteous Qi Technique inscribed on the stele skipped the Divine Altar and Divine Embryo stages and went directly into the Golden Core Realm, clearly an incomplete cultivation thod!

He couldn’t help feeling utterly disheartened. How could one cultivate the Golden Core without those two stages?

"No wonder this cultivation thod was inscribed by the True King outside his tomb; the True King had ulterior motives, aiming to use this cultivation thod to harm others! The True King has misled !"

No sooner had Chen Shi thought this than several more steles caught his eye.

He then noticed the forest of steles outside the True King’s Tomb, and these steles were filled with inscriptions, recording various cultivation techniques!

The Three Light Righteous Qi Technique was just one of many!

Chen Shi quickly scanned through them.

"Tianpeng Demon Suppression Technique... lacking Divine Altar and Divine Embryo!"

"Thunder Crystal Hidden Book... lacking Divine Altar and Divine Embryo!"

"Pure Yang One Qi Technique... lacking Divine Altar and Divine Embryo!"

"Cave God Transformation Technique... also lacking Divine Altar and Divine Embryo!"

Chen Shi’s scalp tingled.aza Every cultivation thod inscribed outside the True King’s Tomb was missing the Divine Altar and Divine Embryo stages!

"Thank goodness these techniques haven’t spread; otherwise, the harmful effects would be profound! Retreat quickly!"

Chen Shi hastily retreated backwards as the surrounding environnt twisted, mountains waved like surging tides, up and down. The revived Grave Guardian Beasts now stood towering into the sky, covering the heavens, emitting an overwhelming aura!

Previously, he had been naïve, but having seen much of the world, he could tell that every Grave Guardian Beast here emitted an aura not inferior to an Evil Bodhisattva!

"Did my grandfather really make it through here in the past, entering the tomb and obtaining the Water and Fire Refining Technique?"

Chen Shi forcefully sprinted outward, finding it incredible.

Late though it was spoken, quick though it happened, before the Ghost God Domain in the True King’s Tomb was fully activated, he finally dashed out of the True King’s Tomb, escaping outdoors.

He turned around to look, only to see that the strange phenona had disappeared; the Ghost God Domain of the True King’s Tomb had not erupted into a Demon Domain or disaster.

He breathed a sigh of relief and hurried back to Huangpo Village.

Near the True King’s Tomb, several Grave Guardian Beasts revealed their True Bodies, watching Chen Shi hastily leave, each filled with shock and confusion.

"Big brother, the holy envoy ca with the West King Jade Seal to awaken us, why did he leave without saying a word?" asked a Divine Beast resembling a dragon-headed horse covered in green scales, clearly puzzled.

The sheep-headed humanoid Grave Guardian Beast was also bewildered. Chen Shi had carried the West King Jade Seal, representing the supre authority of the True King. As guardians of the True King’s Tomb, they should have revived and paid their respects.

Yet, before they could fully revive, Chen Shi had run out again.

"Perhaps the holy envoy had urgent matters?"

The sheep-headed humanoid Grave Guardian Beast was not sure, "I’ve heard people say that humans have urgent needs. His hurried departure must have been for an ergency."

"What do we do now?"

Another Grave Guardian Beast inquired. "If the holy envoy cos again, should we still welco him?"

The sheep-headed humanoid Grave Guardian Beast hesitated for a mont, then said, "Let’s welco him anyway. Who else holds the West King Jade Seal?"

"Can we kill him?"

A Grave Guardian Beast suggested. "His grandfather is no longer alive; if we kill him, no one will co to trouble us. If we also take the West King Jade Seal, wouldn’t that be perfect for us?"

The sheep-headed humanoid Grave Guardian Beast shook its head. "Holding the West King Jade Seal makes him a holy envoy. There’s no reason to kill the True King’s ssenger."

The formidable Grave Guardian Beasts each sighed and beca petrified again, turning back into stone statues, guarding the tomb.

"This kid has always been mischievous, and now that he’s got the West King Jade Seal, who knows how he’ll trouble us!"

Chen Shi returned ho and tossed the West King Jade Seal into his book chest along with a stone box, exclaiming, "This seal is useless, it almost got killed!"

Suddenly, a commotion arose from outside the village. Chen Shi walked out of his yard, following the noise, to see many villagers gathered, with dead chickens scattered everywhere.

Old Lady Wu Zhu stamped her foot, "What kind of creature has bitten these chickens to death without eating them? Such a sin!"

Then, a voice from the fields shouted, "Killing Granny Black Mountain’s beloved grandson deserves condemnation. Today I kill your chickens, tomorrow your ducks, the day after your entire family! Everyone in your village, just wait to die!"

Chen Shi chased after the noise, only to see a gray-clothed rat running swiftly through the fields.

With a burst of strength, Chen Shi closed in on the gray-clothed rat. Suddenly the rat stopped, turned around, and with its hands ford a sword technique, placing the left hand below the right, stamped its foot heavily, and shouted, "Granny, granny, enter my body, help manifest divine power!"

As soon as it finished speaking, its aura surged violently, and a blue mist surrounded its body. The sleeves of its clothes fluttered, and from the blue mist erged a giant handprint about three feet in diater, which ca slapping towards Chen Shi!

Chen Shi stirred up his Qi-Blood, stepped into the Big Dipper position, and threw a punch with all his might.

"Bang—"

His body shook violently, and he was sent flying backward by the force of the blue mist’s palm strike.

Chen Shi flew several ters before crashing to the ground.

The gray-clothed rat sneered, "Now you know the power of granny, huh? You dared to kill granny’s grandchild."

As it turned around, suddenly, a black shadow darted from the diagonal and bit into the neck of the gray-clothed rat—it was Black Pot.

Both the dog and the rat fell, tumbling over each other.

Chen Shi quickly got up, concerned that Black Pot might be hurt, and rushed over. He saw that the gray-clothed rat’s neck had been bitten through, and it had died.

"Black Pot, well done!"

Chen Shi let go of his worries and praised, feeling a lingering fear.

This gray-clothed rat had sohow allowed Granny Black Mountain to possess it, borrowing so of her Mana, and had blasted him away. If it weren’t for his constant bodily conditioning, he would certainly have been injured.

Black Pot, very excited, dragged the rat towards the village, ready to feast enjoyably.

"Just being possessed, and the Mana is so powerful; Granny Black Mountain’s True Body must be extraordinary."

Chen Shi clipped off the tail tip of the gray-clothed rat, thinking, "Since I haven’t found the best thod of cultivation, I might as well start with the Heavenly Heart Righteous Qi Technique and refine the ridian Evil Slayer Sword first."

Before leaving, Li Tianqing had given him several books, which included a volu on the Heavenly Heart Righteous Qi Technique, and the ridian Evil Slayer Sword was a technique from that book. Now, with his Dantian not dispersing, and the Divine Altar lasting half an hour, he could use techniques as long as the Divine Altar and LingQi remained.

Since the ridian Evil Slayer Sword was the most powerful and easiest to master, he planned to refine this technique first for self-defense.

He went to a yellow earth hill outside the village, imrsing himself in understanding the ridian Evil Slayer Sword.

The ridian Evil Slayer Sword had six forms: thrust, slash, wipe, scoop, cloud, and chop—extrely simple. In just a mont, Chen Shi had mastered it and began to condense True Qi using the Divine Altar.

With a slight thought, he moved his Spirit and trained, and in the empty Divine Altar, an invisible Sword Qi slowly ford.

Chen Shi thrust with his sword finger.

"Shoo!"

The air in front of him vibrated, the invisible Sword Qi whistled out, slicing the wind and cutting the grass, reaching the surface of the Jade Belt River a hundred steps away.

The river’s surface exploded.

Chen Shi practiced the six forms repeatedly, becoming more proficient. When his Qi-Blood surged, he slowly ceased the exercise.

His Qi-Blood dropped, reaching his Dantian, and he suddenly, unconsciously, recalled the alchemy thod of the Three Light Righteous Qi Technique inscribed on the stele. His Qi-Blood and Spirit began to rotate and converge in the sa direction within his Dantian, and condensed.

Inside him, there was a sound of grinding millstones, his imnse Qi-Blood, True Qi, and Spirit rotated and rged into a flow at this mont.

This mont confird what was said in the Three Light Righteous Qi Technique:

Use nothingness as the dicine, Righteous Qi as the fire, refine in the three fields, True Qi does not disperse, shaped like embracing an egg, this is called the first of the nine turns of the Golden Core!

"No, no, no!"

Chen Shi suddenly ca to his senses. "This is greatly wrong! Without having reached the Divine Altar Realm or the Divine Embryo Realm, how could I possibly refine a Golden Core?"
