Now reading: Chapter 1457 677: Dark Sea Heavenly Dao (2) from Above the Great Dao, a Eastern novel by Zhai Zhu.

The Demon Path seems unable to let this Dark Sea relax its vigilance.

"This lake seems to operate under so peculiar rule. As long as one follows the rule, the lake's waters won't attack. But if outside the rule, even a Daluo Golden Immortal likely couldn't withstand the water's assault."

Thinking of this, he tentatively summoned the Heavenly Net Blood Transformation Divine Sword.

As soon as the Blood Transformation Divine Saber reached the lake surface, it was wrapped by a stream of water and dragged into the lake.

"My sword!"

Chen Shi exclaid. Although the Heavenly Net Blood Transformation Divine Sword was refined using the Demon Path, it evolved from the Immortal Dao, fundantally adhering to Immortal Dao laws.

"This Demon Sword belonged to Yu Hua and was sothing I took from my disciple Chu Feng; I must return it to him in the future. I can't lose it."

He hesitated for a mont, dissipated the Infinite Dao Field, and converted all his Infinite Daoist Skill into the First Dao Principle.

The First Dao Principle was an Outer Dao law he grasped from the Heaven and Earth Great Dao of the West Bull New Continent. It was extrely brief and not systematic. Chen Shi hadn't comprehended more principles and ford a dao field with just the First Dao Principle. The field was exceedingly crude.

Nonetheless, the dao field ford by the First Dao Principle did not provoke the lake's waters, apparently abiding by the lake's rule.

Chen Shi stepped forward, reaching the lake's edge as its water seeped into his dao field, flowing around him.

"The First Dao Principle is too crude to form a complete dao field, failing to protect ,"

Standing on the lake's surface, Chen Shi kept the dao field in constant transformation to maintain his body above the water.

His first dao field was too crude; if it couldn't support his body, he would plunge into the lake, facing a miserable end.

Gazing into the distance at the Green Palace, he heard the crisp sound of a bell as if soone resided in the Green Palace across the lake, ringing a copper bell in an attempt to connect with the outside world, making him brave the path forward.

Walking on the lake's surface, the water beneath gently stirred.

The Heavenly Net Blood Transformation Divine Sword rested at the bottom. Chen Shi squinted downward but couldn't sight the sword's exact location.

A thought crossed his mind, attempting to summon the sword. The Heavenly Net Blood Transformation Divine Sword emitted a faint red glow, slowly floating upward.

By this faint light, Chen Shi glimpsed countless heaps of white bones.

The lakebed of this underground lake was indeed filled with white skeletal remains!

Chen Shi was taken aback, clutching the floating Heavenly Net Blood Transformation Divine Sword, inspecting the lakebed. These bones appeared human-like, but he couldn't discern why they perished here.

Steadying himself, he illuminated other parts of the lake, revealing the sa expanse of bleached bones, countless in number.

Standing on the lake, surrounded by a stacked heap of bones, the depth unknown, he seed incredibly insignificant.

"This underground lake and Green Palace likely predate even the Earth Immortal Realm. So, the bones within can't belong to Earth's immortals or mortals. Who are these people?"

Suppressing his confusion, he continued forward, drawing closer to the Green Palace.

Suddenly, Chen Shi perceived a familiar force, startling him: "This power…"

He moved onwards, the closer he approached the Green Palace, the clearer the force beca.

His surprise grew.

From within the Green Palace, he sensed the aura of the Heavenly chanism Strategy!

Moreover, he sensed other Heavenly Dao forces!

With mastery over the Heavenly chanism Strategy, the skies above West Bull New Continent even condensed the strategy. Its dao patterns altered, revealing their secrets. Chen Shi occasionally captured a glimpse of the heavenly chanism, making him no stranger to this force.

But, why would the aura of the Heavenly Dao appear in this underground Green Palace?

The nearer he got, the more pronounced the Heavenly Dao aura beca, and he detected an aura akin to Jade Balance Gate, similar to Yao Guang Pool, and other strange, vague auras, all-encompassing!

When he reached the opposite shore, the aura beca so intense he even suspected the Green Palace concealed nurous Heavenly Dao Treasures!

Yet, apart from these familiar Heavenly Dao auras, there lingered an unsettling presence, eerie and potent, akin to the Outer Dao.

"An alien Heavenly Dao!"

At the Green Palace entrance, Chen Shi steadied himself, about to enter when the sound of clanging copper bells suddenly rang in his ears, nearly startling him.

Following the sound, Chen Shi saw a skeletal hand protruding from within the Green Palace doorway, with a copper bell hanging from the wrist.

"Almost scared to death, I thought it was haunting."

Breathing a sigh of relief, Chen Shi entered the Green Palace and ca before the skeletal remains.

The garnt on the skeletal fra had long decayed, leaning against the door; it seed to be a woman's skeleton, raising her wrist and ringing the bell in her final monts.

Presumably, elsewhere, another individual might respond, their wrist-bell ringing in concert.

She could use the bell sound to discern if the man had escaped.

Grievously wounded, she leaned against the Green Palace door, shaking the bell on her wrist. The bell rang, echoed from afar, filling her heart with a somber understanding.

He did not escape.

Separated by the lake, one died on this side of the underground lake, the other on the opposite side.

Chen Shi removed the bell from the wrist of the female skeleton, examining its patterns and noting they differed from Immortal Dao or Divine Dao patterns. These structural patterns resembled the Outer Dao law on the clothing of the stone man but were more complex and mysterious.

Shaking the bell, its clear sound resonated. As it rang, he could distinctly sense another bell in a different location.

"Indeed, they are paired, symbiotic treasures."
