The group stepped into the hall.

The first thing that caught their eye was the beautiful head enshrined at the center of the shrine in the main hall.

Chen Shi had previously heard Li Xiaozheng describe it and had imagined a stone carved into the shape of a beautiful woman’s face, but only upon seeing it did he realize how large it was!

It was a stone the size of a table, placed in the center of the shrine, with clear eyebrows and eyes in front, like a beauty from a painting, her head adorned in the style of ancient tis, with a handkerchief wrapped around her bun.

However, the stone bore marks of being scorched; its surface was sowhat mottled and peeled, marring the beauty’s complexion, but if one looked closely, one could still tell that she must have been extrely beautiful back then.

In front of Stone Ji’s Head, the ground was scattered with so petrified bodies, fragnted and shattered, not as if they had been killed after petrification, but as if they had stepped into the hall and died under the influence of magic!

Chen Shi signaled for everyone to stop and surveyed the surroundings, but saw that various parts of this great hall were adorned with talismans. Unlike the massive talismans on the Great Ming Treasure Ship, these were extrely small, resembling ticulous paintings, drawn delicately in every corner of the hall.

So were talismans, so were symbols, and so were engraved with the language of gods and demons.

Countless intricate talisman symbols were interconnected, forming a whole; triggering any one of them would result in a devastating blow!

As they had stepped into the hall, these talisman symbols had already been activated; the walls, do, and floor of the great hall all had talisman symbols light up, with many yellow talisman-like lights standing in the air, their vermilion symbols complenting the yellow light.

Gradually, the whispers of gods and demons reached everyone’s ears, filling their minds with distracting thoughts.

Chen Shi glanced around, recognizing these as the Grand Talisman Symbols his grandfather had left behind; all sorts of talismans could be found here!

However, so of the talisman symbols had been damaged and were incomplete.

"Give a quarter of an hour, and I can break them."

Chen Shi set down his book box, crouched down, and took out a small knife; Black Pot quickly stepped forward to offer his blood.

Li Tianqing helped grind so ink.

Chen Shi held the brush, Li Tianqing holding the ink, and they moved forward one step; Chen Shi looked at the floating talisman symbols in front of him, when suddenly, the sound of hurried footsteps ca from behind, only to see more than ten Xu Family descendants carrying a bamboo sedan chair coming their way.

In the sedan sat an old man with white hair, precisely Xu Changsheng, lost in a dream with a young woman holding a rat’s tail brush occasionally rubbing it on the old man’s forehead.

"I sold that rat’s tail brush!"

Chen Shi was stunned; the rat’s tail brush and the Xu Family’s Cloud Dream Great thod were a perfect match!

Xu Changsheng, lost in the clouds dream, happy and smiling, his large sleeves fluttering, his feet stepping on clouds, carrying everyone as they flew toward the temple.

Then, beams of light from a mirror shone, flickering rapidly, with six or seven people standing in the mirror light, arriving in front of the temple!

Zhang family elder, Zhang Wenshu, along with several Zhang family mbers, landed, stroking his beard and laughing heartily, "I heard that Xiaozheng, my worthy nephew, was trapped in this Great Ming Treasure Ship; my heart was tornted, so I specifically led the Zhang family descendants here to rescue him! Little did I expect..."

His eyes flashed fiercely, summoning Zhang family’s Cave Void Mirror, his expression mournful, "My worthy nephew has died inside the Treasure Ship!"

"Boom!"

The Great Ming Treasure Ship tilted and slid into the De River, with many large wooden boards erected on the ship, each painted with a Wind Talisman, which got activated, filling the sails of the ship with wind.

The Treasure Ship sailed along the river water toward the mountains looming ahead, the river water roiling, with Big Gun clearing the way in front of the ship.

The waters of the De River rushed directly into an underground river that cut through the cliff.

And above the river was the location of the True King’s Tomb.
