Chen Shi turned his head to look at the Stone People, only to see that their surfaces were continually shedding stone chips and dust; the armor on their bodies was gradually breaking free from petrification, shining with a tallic luster, and their pupils slowly regained clarity and liveliness.

All the Stone People were like this!

At this mont, the river channel was lit as if at dusk, with light coming from up ahead, not too distinct. But Chen Shi looked down the river and estimated, there must be at least a thousand of these Stone People!

"A thousand Stone People in the midst of reviving!"

The thought alone made his scalp tingle; these Stone People were not stone embodint spirits!

The stone embodint spirits, tomb-guardian beasts, were worshiped as divine entities in stone form, bestowed with extraordinary powers and skills, to guard the tombs and prevent disturbances.

"These Stone People must be soldiers from the True King Era! They were ordered to guard the True King’s Tomb; they must have been petrified by the Stone Ji’s Head!"

Suddenly, Chen Shi thought of a possibility, and exclaid, "Tianqing, Black Pot, the True King also cultivated the Water and Fire Refining Technique! Who says the True King must be dead?"

Li Tianqing was shaken to his core, imdiately understanding his aning.

The Water and Fire Refining Technique was the supre Cultivation Technique of the Corpse Resolving Immortal, through which one could recreate a body with true fire and true water after physical death, thus escaping mortality and roaming freely!

Chen Shi was a living example!

His grandfather, Chen Yindou, had broken into the True King’s Tomb, snatched the Water and Fire Refining Technique, and used it to refine Chen Shi’s corpse, preserving his body from decay, then went to the underworld to retrieve his soul, reviving this top scholar of the fifty provinces!

"We are in the True King’s Tomb!"

Li Tianqing looked around, sowhat incredulously murmuring, "We must be inside the True King’s Tomb; this scene must be the buried soldiers, welcoming the revival of the True King..."

Chen Shi realized this as well, feeling extrely anxious in his heart. If the True King were to be revived, and so many soldiers along with him, the True King might soon reign over the West Bull New Continent once more!

They had gotten caught up in this situation; was it good or bad?

Suddenly, he felt sothing scorching hot in his sleeve, burning his skin; alard, he thought, "The West King Jade Seal!"

The West King Jade Seal he had hidden in his sleeve pocket, just in case, now felt as if it were ablaze!

He hurriedly fished out the seal from his sleeve pocket. As soon as the Jade Seal left his sleeve, blinding light erged, instantly illuminating the river channel!

Li Tianqing too was startled, the intense light causing them and the dog carrying the pouch baby to shield their eyes involuntarily. It took a mont for them to adjust.

The West King Jade Seal beca searing hot; Chen Shi could barely hold onto it but endured and firmly grasped the seal, not letting go.

It was almost the only thing they had that could save their lives!

"Hopefully all of Zhu Xiucai’s words are true!"

Chen Shi clenched his teeth, when suddenly a distracting thought crossed his mind, "Li Xiaozheng, the Red and Green Elders, why haven’t they caught up yet? By all logic, they should have already chased us onto the deck. If I am holding the West King Jade Seal, could I command the Great Ming soldiers to kill off all those bastards? A True King’s revival? I am the True King!"

His youthful nature made him want to put his hands on his hips; but rembering the imminent revival of the True King, his desire to beco the True King wasn’t that strong anymore.

One by one, the Stone People’s bodies beca flesh and blood again, each descending from the stone walls on both sides.

They must have cultivated so Secret Technique; their bodies were much taller than ordinary people, about ten to sixteen feet high. When they approached Chen Shi and Li Tianqing, they looked like giants.

Bright golden light shot out from their armor, and their bodies also seed as if they were cast from gold, with the exposed skin also radiating golden light.

"The Buddhist Ten-foot Golden Body!"

Li Tianqing whispered in shock, "This Secret Buddhist Technique has long been lost, it is the legendary supre Golden Body Skill!"

He stared, murmuring, "Little Ten, if you could learn this Skill, you could slaughter your way through the Western Capital..."

He thought of Chen Shi’s ferocious combat scenes and shivered involuntarily.

The True King’s soldiers paid no attention to Chen Shi, each busy with their own tasks.

The sound of chains clinking stread through the air; a coffin descended from the sky, landing on the deck with a thud. The Ten-foot Golden Body soldiers picked up the coffin and carried it into the cabin.

At first, from a distance, the coffin seed small to Chen Shi and the others. But as they approached, they were startled to see it was the size of a small house.

Even the Ten-foot Golden Body Great Ming soldiers needed four people to lift the coffin.

Chains continued to slide, one coffin after another was brought in, continuously falling onto the deck.

These coffins were incredibly luxurious, made from Phoebe zhennan wood not native to the West Bull New Continent but transported from the Divine Land.

The Great Ming Treasure Ship proceeded along the dock; soldiers continually leaped onto the ship, each busy with their tasks—so tidying the sails, so repainting the Wind Talismans, others examining the crossbows, and so went to the second floor’s cannon ports to inspect the giant red barbarian cannons.

— Those cannons were so large that several people could fit into their muzzles; they were countless tis larger than the red barbarian cannon in Chen Da Wang Village!

On deck, Chen Shi, Li Tianqing, and the dog carrying the infant in its pouch constantly moved to avoid the large Great Ming soldiers; their towering stature made it seem as if they were moving through a dense forest, except these trees were on the move.

The Great Ming Treasure Ship continued to move forward, the dock seemingly passing through an entire mountain range, with Stone People continually reviving and jumping onto the ship.

Coffins kept falling onto the deck, thudding loudly with each drop.

Li Tianqing sensed sothing amiss, saying in a low voice, "Sothing’s wrong; there are too many coffins!"

Seeing Chen Shi puzzled, he explained at once, "Coffins aren’t for everyone; only kings, nobles, high officials, mbers of the Imperial Family, and other important figures are entitled to them. Even those qualified have varying standards of use. So many coffins here, doesn’t it imply that there are excessively many noble and high-official individuals and mbers of the Imperial Family, all buried in the True King’s Tomb? Logically speaking, the True King’s Tomb should only hold the True King and his spouse, along with a few attendants—how could there be so many great personages buried there?"
