Yu Tiancheng saw him standing there, stupefied, and thought he had misspoken, so he hastily said, "I’m just a self-taught layman, didn’t even pass the Scholar exam, what I say might not be correct."

Despite saying that, he was the Hall Master of Red Mountain Hall, a master of talismans. Originally, when Incense Master Lu experienced Chen Shi’s mastery of talismans, he had said that among the brothers in the hall, Chen Shi could be ranked second, with the number one being this very Yu Tiancheng who hadn’t even passed the Scholar exam.

Later, upon seeing the myriad of talismans created by Chen Shi, Incense Master Lu stopped making such comnts.

Yu Tiancheng was a rough and unrefined man who had not passed the Scholar exam; normally, he would have had no hope of becoming a Talisman Master. Yet he had beco one of the top experts among Talisman Masters by teaching himself from an incomplete "Talismanic Seal Manual."

There were many talismans he did not know how to use, and the self-taught ones had many flaws and weak points, but his insight was extrely keen.

He was a man who had been delayed in his potential.

Had he been guided by a famous teacher and provided with profound cultivation techniques, his achievents would definitely not have been so limited.

Chen Shi stood there, lost in thought, sinking into deep contemplation.

Ever since he awoke from death two years ago, he had followed his grandfather in learning to draw the designs of various talismans as well as to read and write. With a brush in hand, he could draw all sorts of talismans, and without a Divine Embryo, he could manipulate his Qi-Blood to create powerful talismans.

Yet he had never thought to use talismans as spells.

Talismans and spells have a clear boundary.

Talismans need a dium, the blood of Pure Yang, ink, a Talisman Master’s concentrated mind, a lingering thought to connect with the deities, in order to draw talismans that possess different powers.

A Talisman Master who has cultivated to a profound level can paint talismans out of thin air without ink, black dog blood, cinnabar, yellow paper, using their own Qi-Blood as a dium to connect with the deities.

So can even create talismans with just a thought!

Spells, on the other hand, take shape in a sanctuary, gathering Qi to cast spells, turning Qi-Blood into spells through the control of sword techniques and intentions, which then possess trendous power when released.

The two are completely different when being used.

But then, the Taotie Swallowing Sky Talisman, could it not beco a spell?

Without drawing, could one manipulate Qi-Blood with intention alone, directing it towards the sanctuary, transforming into the Taotie Swallowing Sky pattern—could that not beco a spell?

If it were possible, then could the Five Mountains True Form graph be directly cast?

Could the simplest Fire Talisman, Water Talisman, or Thunder Talisman erge directly from the sanctuary?

Could the Door God on the Peach Talisman be similar to the Golden Light Spell ford by the Great Wheel Ming King Golden Body?

Could the Armored Horse Talisman and Godspeed Talisman beco the Wind Control Technique, the Soaring Body Technique?

Could the Transformation Talisman allow one to morph into different forms with just a spell gesture?

And those various Creation Talismans recorded in the "Talisman Creation Treasure"—if they could also beco spells, could he transform into a Traction Worm and fly away? Or turn into a brain worm to burrow into soone else’s brain and control their bodies?

Could he beco a Heavenly chanism of creation, possessing the power of the Talisman Gods?

Or even beco Creation Little Five?

Chen Shi stood there, deeply pondering how to break the barrier between talismans and spells, while everyone around him did not disturb his contemplation.

Red Mountain Lady curiously watched her own True Body in the basin, picking at it with a pair of chopsticks, and suddenly cried out in astonishnt to Minjiang Granny, "Look, when I poke myself in the basin with chopsticks, a dent appears on my body too!"

This discovery filled her with excitent.

Minjiang Granny rolled her eyes, thinking to herself after all these decades of clashing with this foolish girl, she still hadn’t managed to kill her?

"I really am incompetent," she thought to herself.

"The one in the basin is your True Body, you are a spirit form. If your True Body is damaged, your spirit form will also be damaged."

Minjiang Granny still patiently explained, "If soone were to cut off a piece of you with a knife right now, your spirit form would also lose a piece in the sa location. For instance, if they cut off a piece right here..."

She took a chopstick from Red Mountain Lady, gestured over the body of Blood Taisui in the basin, and said, "Your head would correspondingly lose a piece, as if it had been cut off. If they were to cut here, your whole head would disappear."

It was then that Red Mountain Lady understood, hastily picking up the basin holding her True Body, afraid of it being taken away.

Yu Tiancheng gathered a few Incense Masters to discuss, "Lady’s presence in the headquarters is too conspicuous. Now that she can hide in a water basin, it makes our transfer easier. Let’s split up imdiately and take the Lady and Minjiang Granny out of the headquarters, hiding them sowhere safe to prevent them from being found."

Incense Master Xiao asked, "Hide where?"

Yu Tiancheng’s gaze flickered as he said, "I’m too conspicuous a target; it is instead easier for you to hide."

Their eyes fell on him, seeing this robust rabbit standing over two zhang tall ( about 7 ters), all muscle, undoubtedly the first target for anyone.

"Mushroom stew with rabbit tastes even better, the Hall Master is definitely alluring..." A Talisman Master had just uttered this when he received a slap on the head.

Incense Master Lu asked, "Then, who will take the Lady and Minjiang Granny away?"

Everyone pondered without a decision.

Those with smaller profiles were not powerful enough. Those powerful enough were conspicuous targets.

At that mont, the whooshing of the wind and heat waves arrived. Everyone looked in the direction of the sound, only to see Chen Shi with a small temple floating behind his head. As the young man pointed forward with a sword technique, a fireball flew out from the temple, traveling more than three zhang (about 10 ters) away.

When the fireball reached three zhang away, it burst with a loud ’bang’, expanding in an instant to a radius of more than a zhang, and the surging wave of air nearly lifted the roof of the nearby incense hall!

"Great spell!" everyone applauded in unison.

Yet, Chen Shi’s brows were furrowed; he squatted on the ground deep in thought, then suddenly leaped up and another fireball flew out.
