Chapter 285: Birds Should Stay In The Sky
Lily raised her hand, and a dense wall of vines surged upward, twisting together to block the advancing Raven.
But in the very next instant—
Uraan was already upon her again.
"Tsk!" Lily clicked her tongue as she t his charge head-on.
Clang!
Steel collided, sparks bursting at the point of impact. After her sword had broken yesterday, she had purchased a new Peak Blue-Tier sword for 600,000 AC after negotiation—and it held firm against Uraan’s strikes.

The falcon had already descended to ground level and was hurtling straight toward the Treant.

The sound of tearing echoed as the falcon ripped through the vine barriers as if they were nothing but paper. The Treant raised its massive arms, roots thickening as it prepared to block.

A faint green glow spread as the Treant activated its healing skill, beginning regeneration.
But the falcon didn’t stay.
It shot back into the sky, wings beating hard as it ascended once more—preparing for another teor Strike.

It wasn’t unscathed from the attack as its movents were noticeably slower than before.
Back on the ground—
Clang! Clang! Slash!
Their swords clashed in rapid succession, the tallic echoes ringing sharply. Uraan’s techniques were more refined, his footwork precise—and he managed to slip past her defense.

A shallow cut opened on Lily’s arm, but they healed soon enough.
But—
"Argh!" Uraan groaned instead, his joints trembling as Lily’s next strike crashed down, carrying overwhelming weight.
"Are you another monster like them?" Uraan spat through gritted teeth. "How the hell are you all so strong?!"
Then, his gaze sharpened.
"But tell —how are two monsters together? And you’re even in a relationship?" he said, clearly referring to Leo.
"Relationship?" Lily tilted her head slightly, almost amused.
"He is my partner, soulmate or husband, whatever you call it." she replied matter-of-factly.
"And no one can separate us. My lovely Leo is my king, and I am his queen."
As she spoke, she flicked her wrist.
A sharp wind blade shot toward Uraan.
He responded instantly, releasing his own wind blade to counter.
But Lily’s blade cleaved straight through his, the remaining force slamming into him and pushing him backward.
At that mont, the Raven reappeared in a blur of shadow, launching a barrage of razor-sharp feather projectiles.
"Hmph!" Lily snorted lightly.
She released a wide gust of wind.
Whooosh!
The feathers were scattered instantly, blown off course before they could reach her.
Leo leaned forward slightly, eyes narrowing.
"Another skill?"
Previously, Lily could only create gusts by dulling her wind blades—producing weak knockback within a limited range.
But this was a true wind gust skill, with far greater range and control.
"This is getting troubleso..." Lily muttered under her breath.
She was handling both Uraan and the Raven alone, while the Treant struggled against the falcon—which clearly had the upper hand due to its aerial advantage.
"Looks like there’s no choice..."
Her gaze lifted to the sky, just as the falcon struck again, further draining the Treant’s mana as it struggled to regenerate at the relentless.
Lunaria was needed.
She raised her hand.
The sky darkened instantly.
Uraan halted mid-step, instinctively looking upward.
"You were holding back this whole ti?" he said, eyes narrowing as he sensed the overwhelming concentration of mana gathering above. Dark clouds began to swirl, churning violently.
The falcon didn’t hesitate.
It shot straight upward, piercing through the cloud layer and vanishing into the darkness.
Lily narrowed her eyes, sensing its incoming charge.
The Raven reacted imdiately, sensing danger to the falcon, and rushed toward Lily.
"Midnight, stop!" Uraan shouted.
But it was too late.
"[Black Storm Lightning]!"
Crackle! Crack!
A pillar of black lightning tore down from the sky, splitting the air apart as it struck the Raven head-on.
CRACK—BOOM!
"CwaarrrrAAA—!"
Its cry was cut off mid-scream as its body convulsed violently—then vanished, defeated and instantly and teleported away.
Lightning was always super effective against birds.
"W-what...?" Uraan muttered, disbelief etched across his face as he stared at the sheer destructive power of the strike.
At that exact mont—
The falcon burst through the clouds again, diving straight toward the Treant.
Crackle—
Another bolt of lightning descended, aiming for its path.
But the falcon’s speed was too great, and the bolt missed, causing the falcon strike the treant once again.
"Ah—!" Lily winced sharply.
The Treant’s form flickered and began to dissolve, its body breaking apart into fading green and red light.
As a spirit, it didn’t have a life bracelet—defeat ant actual destruction.
But it didn’t truly die.
Its essence returned to Lily’s soul.

"Haha! Great!" Uraan laughed, energy surging back into him at the sight.

It slamd into the falcon mid-air, electricity coursing through its body. The red glow in its eyes dimd, along with the streak across its body.

But the beast wasn’t defeated yet.
After a mont of paralysis, it steadied itself mid-air, wings trembling slightly as it locked onto Lily again.
Even with reduced speed—
A two-sided attack from Uraan and the falcon could still overwhelm her.
And that was when Lily made her final move.
"Leo was right—birds should stay in the sky. Lunaria, get that beast!"

Another lightning bolt crashed down toward him.
He barely dodged, rolling aside with wind-enhanced speed.
Lunaria appeared.
The spirit wolf towered at 8 to 9 ters, its presence overwhelming. Its bluish glow had deepened into a dark, almost black hue, crackling faintly with energy.
From its forehead, a ter-long horn extended, arcs of electricity dancing along its surface as mana gathered intensely.

Lunaria raised its head, horn blazing with crackling black lightning, and aid directly at the falcon—
Which, mid-air, failed to change direction in ti.
Its red eyes widened—
Reflecting the monstrous silhouette of the towering spirit wolf below.
