Chapter 310: Lily Out Of Control
Lily’s Treant skills—Vines and Roots—were still of only Peak 3-star strength since the Treant was in the 3-star realm. The sa would have happened for Lunaria’s wind as well, if she weren’t spirit-integrated with Lily at the mont. In the spirit integration/Soul-Fusion form, power from any low-levelled beast would show strength equal to the tar’s strength. Which ant the wind and thunder strength was at the height of low 4-star. That was the reason the tornado was so large.
"Leo!!!" Leon shouted from afar as he ran away, his voice barely reaching Leo through the roaring storm.
"What?" Leo shouted back, but the voice was very hard to hear in the howling wind.
"She gained too much mana in a very short amount of ti! Empty her reserves!! She will return to normal!!" Leon yelled, but what Leo caught was only fragnts.
"Mana? Empty? What!"
"Tsk!" Leo clicked his tongue sharply. Lily was stronger than him now, which made restraining her difficult, and now she was out of control.
Since earlier, when the pink glow in her eyes had dimd a little, the tornado had stopped expanding, and the cuts from the winds were also fewer. It was as if Lily was trying to regain control.
But even then, the damage had crossed nearly 300 ters in diater. Trees were uprooted, and along with dust and rock, they spiralled violently in the tornado. The [Blackstorm Lightning] crashed relentlessly and randomly, and at the epicentre of it all was Lily, her veins bulging across her forehead and limbs as she forced her body to control the newfound strength.
Leo tried covering his body with an aura, but the aura shattered the very next mont. He himself was prevented from being propelled into the air by thick vines gripping tightly around his legs.
The tornado was tall and powerful as it soon started pulling large chunks of rock from the earth and spiralling them upward. One shot straight at Leo. Since he couldn’t move, he simply punched the rock and shattered it into fragnts.

At this rate, she would exhaust her mana very soon, but it needed to be faster. Leon was already caught in the storm, relentlessly dodging the debris and random attacks while trying his best to anchor himself to the ground with magic chains. If Leon were to get seriously hurt, it would be dangerous for him.
Then Leo recalled sothing and focused, even ignoring the boulders and wind slashes heading toward him. At once, the sharp cutting wind dulled, and the recurring slashes that had been appearing over his body vanished. His regeneration quietly sealed the wounds on his body shut.
Just like Lily had previously taken control of his vines when he had stopped actively controlling them, Leo took control of the wind, since they were being unconsciously released by Lily.
Next were the roots and vines, wildly thrashing left and right. With a simple thought, Leo halted their movents and forced them still. The next was the Blackstorm lightning; he stopped the raging lightning the very next mont.

From what he had inferred from Leon’s words, Leo needed to empty her mana pool, but it was far from empty.
Leo concentrated and activated his [Mist Shroud], selectively making it so only his stats rose.

It was 20,000 units less, but his attention wasn’t there.

He summoned Shyra and Nyxa.

He concentrated and increased the range of the Mist Shroud from 100 ters to 200 ters, and then to 300 ters.

The cost multiplied rapidly. At that mont, he rushed towards Lily. The sheer concentration he was exerting on his brain to control Lily’s elents as well as his own Mist Shroud made a vein in his eye pop, turning the sclera from white to red.
As he was getting close to Lily, he noticed a change in her. As if the mana in her body, unable to find an outlet, struggled and activated her newly gained elents—Water and Poison.
But, as if refusing that, Lily gritted her teeth and forcefully shut down the activation of any poison skills. The exertion made her nose bleed, blood dripping slowly down.
Leo was just about to reach her when an orb of water ford around Lily and encased her. Soon after, a violent wave of water burst outward in all directions—the sa skill the Hydra had used to wash Grivak away before defeating it.
Leo didn’t react in ti to produce an earthen wall and truly felt what it was like to be washed away by violent waves. Thankfully, there were no obstructions for him to crash into, but that also ant he was once again very far from her and had to restart his run.

"Damn!" he cursed as the minute reset and [Mist Shroud] devoured another huge chunk of mana.
Leo started to feel a bit drowsy due to the low mana levels, regretting summoning Shyra and Nyxa earlier and increasing the mana cost. He quickly unsummoned them and lunged toward Lily once again.
Leon, on the other hand, shakily stood up. His body was riddled with cuts, and his clothes were stained with blood. He was confused as to why the wind had abruptly stopped, along with the thunder and the thrashing vines and roots. He glanced down at the deep cut on his abdon and grimaced, pulling out a bandage and performing quick first aid to stop the bleeding.
"Miho’s going to get angry..." he muttered.
The next mont, he was engulfed by the sa dense mist.
"This fucker... how much does he even hide?" Leon muttered under his breath. "First, this strange mist that he didn’t reveal back in the competition... and apparently it boosts his strength. Then Lily—how the fuck can soone gain strength so quickly? The only case like that I’ve seen is my fath— that bastard...."
Leon froze when he suddenly heard water splashing nearby. His eyes widened as he sensed a surge of water rapidly rushing toward him.
