Chapter 332: Conquering A Realm - 1

---In front of Realm Gate---

Brok, who arrived late due to inspecting the cave that had caught his interest, spotted Hadir finishing his report.

"You didn’t go inside?" Hadir asked when he noticed Brok.

"? I am just a ride," Brok replied with a shrug.

"A ride? Then shouldn’t you already be heading back toward the academy?"

"Hm? I will wait to pick them up at 11 PM. I am also their territory mber," Brok said proudly.

"Territory mber? Then shouldn’t you have gone along with them?" Hadir asked, a confused expression crossing his face. He asked all the questions in such a way that would make him fit for a researcher.

Brok felt sothing like a rock slam into his brain when he realised he could have gone with them if he had asked Leo to book for him too. Though he could go even now, he wasn’t registered, nor did he have money to do so.

Mosswhisker Rabbit (Low 1-star) - Ordinary Bloodline

Leo spotted a small rabbit with moss-coloured fur, long alert ears, and powerful hind legs. The mont its eyes t Leo’s, it darted back into the forest foliage.

"Where do we start?" Lily asked after the small incident.

"Let’s split into two groups. If you co across any strong being, just fire a magical shot into the sky, and the other group will promptly co to your place," Leo said, pulling his eyes away from the retreating rabbit.

But at that mont, Kaelion narrowed his eyes.

[Magic Stinger]!

He shot a small stinger at the retreating rabbit, but he was a second too late as the rabbit’s leg was caught in an invisible thread before it was pierced by the stinger.

All of their eyes constricted as they suddenly found the whole sky filled with countless arrows.

Lily raised her hand as roots and vines erupted around them in a circular formation, quickly forming a do. Leo used Earth Manipulation to tighten and fill the gaps as a rattling noise filled their ears when the arrows slamd against the do.

Blat! Blat! Blat! Fing! Whistle! Blat! Fing!

"A trap," Kaelion said calmly.

"How did you figure it out?" Leo asked.

"A soul technique. When the sa event transpires at the sa place many tis, a sort of imprint occurs in reality itself that you can sense after learning the related soul technique."

Leo nodded in understanding as he resolved to research soul techniques. Just the other day, Katherine had pointed out how weak his Soul boundary defence was; he wouldn’t allow it to remain that way. He even suspected that people realising he was looking at them might be a sort of Soul Technique.

When the rattling stopped, Lily invoked her wind magic and blasted the vine and earthen layers outward, revealing the surroundings.

Almost as if the ground itself had turned into a porcupine, countless arrows filled the space.

Leo bent down and picked up a few arrows.

"Stone and bone... no tal?" he said after examining the arrowheads.

"Maybe they cannot craft them?" Kaelion suggested, which seed possible, as wood elves usually don’t work with tal if it isn’t readily available.

Lily narrowed her eyes and proceeded to spirit integrate with Lunaria.

The others felt the wind gather beneath their feet, and the next mont they were lifted and hovering in the air.

Leo and Kaelion found their balance easily, while Miho struggled to stay upright. Lily had to pay extra attention to her to make sure she didn’t fall.

After landing on even ground, they searched for the chanism and realised there was a whole encirclent of contraptions around the gate. It was almost as if the elves had prepared a surprise party for them.

After a mont of deliberation, they decided it was not good to separate. Especially considering that Miho might get hurt if there was only one person to defend her, and Andrew had warned them of a beetle beast that might have turned into a high-3-star by now.

Miho started to feel bad for being a liability, especially when she herself had insisted on coming with them due to Kaelion’s injuries.

She had been allowed to co because Leo was completely confident with the three of them; it would be a breeze, especially when they had a mid-4-star Hydra—whom Lily had nad Pryde, as in pride—as insurance. It would also be a valuable experience for her.

Kaelion consoled her and summoned Singham as he and Miho climbed onto it.

Leo did the sa and summoned Nyxa, climbing onto her with Lily holding his waist from behind.

Miho, observing Lily, nervously did the sa with Kaelion, which he pretended not to notice.

Both Nyxa and Singham had reduced their size to no larger than 3 ters tall, so the elves might feel confident enough to initiate an attack and reveal themselves.

As for Shyra, she had already been summoned at the start with her stealth activated, lurking around them for any potential ambush. With her around, the group was at ease, as the biggest ambusher among everyone here would be Shyra herself.

"Nyxa, charge!" Leo commanded as the wolf began running through the forest.

The forest was dense, and the total area spanned 200 square kilotres. Though it was large, Leo was interested in seeing what lay at the boundary’s end, so he commanded Nyxa to run in a single straight direction.

Kaelion followed closely from behind, but at so point, Nyxa began outrunning Singham due to being more compatible with dense forests.

Kaelion thought of informing them since they didn’t seem to slow down, but when he took out his phone, he saw there was no signal and he couldn’t contact them.

But It wasn’t long before he spotted them again.

Nyxa was standing in one place, as Leo and Lily had already dismounted and were observing sothing cautiously.

"Leo—"

"Shuu..." Leo cut him off and gestured for him to look forward.

Kaelion pushed aside the bushes and looked ahead, and his eyes widened.

A small-scale village stood before them, not only that, but the houses were exquisite. Fine wood craftsmanship, decorations everywhere—like people had been living in them. Each house stood as if it had been built for a noble. A rich noble.

But sothing felt off. Even though it looked like people had been living there, it also carried a strong sense of abandonnt—empty, as if there was no heart within it.
