Chapter 415: Demolishing The Rest

Shyra, with her black obsidian fangs and claws.

Singham with his pearl-white fangs and claws.

And Grivak with his diamond stinger.

"And then there’s Niri with her half-spirit beast core..."

A healer-type beast’s core is a treasure on its own, not to ntion a half-spirit. It could even be used to resurrect a being who had been dead for a few days, provided the body remained intact—at least according to what Leo had read on the fifth floor.

If it were a full spirit, and that too a high-ranking healing-type spirit beast’s core that could actually die—unlike Lily’s contracted spirit beast summons that were immortal as long as Lily existed—the spirit beast core could even resurrect a person from their remains. As long as even scraps of bone remained, they could be brought back completely intact, with their mories preserved, since the world stored information of every being across tilines.

Though there were many other complexities and conditions involved, the beast core was an absolute necessity.

But since Niri would actually need to perish for that, Leo imdiately threw the thought away.

Leo used [Nature’s Heal] on the Mammoth in case there was any damage, and being a higher-tier existence, his healing instantly cald the seated Mammoth.

"Thank you very much," Marco said, giving a slight bow as he gently rubbed the beast’s trunk.

"I should probably go. Sorry for the inconvenience," Marco added, already planning to leave as soon as possible. In the distance, cries and explosions echoed faintly through the mound, a clear sign of how rciless Leo’s territory mbers were.

"Hm? If you’re not here for trouble, you could stay a while. I don’t have a problem," Leo said, glancing at the beast sitting nearby. The mont his gaze t its eyes, the Mammoth averted them, looking away to the side.

"He looks a bit unwell?" Leo scratched his head, fully aware of the reason.

Yeah... even I would feel unwell if a 1-year-old baby picked up by my canines.

Marco swiped his hand and unsummoned the beast.

"No, I would disturb the beacon’s sensor since I am not allied with you. I’ll leave. See you later," Marco said, before turning and running off into the forest, leaving Leo behind, casually waving goodbye.

"Smart man," Leo muttered, because Sylrael had already been ready to loose her bowstring the mont Marco agreed to stay.

Leaving him uninjured was rcy enough. Why would he want to stay and watch?

---

"How the fuck are you people growing so fas—"

Aaron’s words were cut short as he vanished, struck by an uppercut from Kaelion.

Aaron had already been baffled seeing Kaelion inside Leo’s territory. Why would the 2nd-ranked student choose to stay under soone? Even as a 5th-ranked, he wouldn’t do that when his strength alone was enough to rule over a large city. But beyond that, Kaelion’s power was simply off the charts.

He had single-handedly handled both of Aaron’s beasts—Shardfall Warden, now a Low 3-star beast, and Gravelflow Serpent, now a Pseudo 3-star beast—ending their story in just a few charged punches, and Aaron’s own in a single blow. As for his territory mbers... Singham and Grivak were having a field day.

Even when the top 10 students attacks were coordinated, there was always a slight delay in arrival.

Uraan, who had been relatively relaxed after sending the falcon—thinking his part was already done—now had his mouth hanging open as he leaned forward over the raven’s back, staring at the battlefield in disbelief.

He had already panicked when the falcon was defeated within the first minute, but not even 10 minutes had passed before 4 of them, along with more than 300 students, had already fallen.

Now, only he remained, along with his 100-strong force—mostly bird-type beastkin he had bought from the slave market—alongside a handful of humans brave enough to want and live in the tall mountains.

He had gathered enough funds to buy more slaves and life bracelets after scavenging fallen avian beast corpses.

The other was Lyra; her n were close to falling as well, but she herself was nowhere in sight.

I don’t bla her. Even I would hide if I were on the ground witnessing all that firsthand, Uraan thought. His eyes flicked toward the tense figures marching below. The most fearful among them were the slaves, still unfamiliar with the capabilities of life bracelets like the elves.

Hmm... maybe this will make them familiar, Uraan thought, finalizing his decision to attack.

And so he did—he charged forward. Then suddenly—

"Uraan."

A sweet voice called out, sending a chill down his spine.

"L-Lily... you ca to fight?" he asked nervously, drawing his sword in an instant.

Lily floated directly above him, forcing him to tilt his head upward.

"No, I am not your opponent today. I ca to ask if all those beastkin have life bracelets on," Lily asked calmly.

"Life bracelets? Yes, they all do... why?" Uraan asked, but Lily had already disappeared.

He was just about to let out a breath of relief when it caught in his throat. Two orange beams and two white beams with a ting of gold were tearing through the sky, headed straight toward him—or rather, his n.

It was Kaelion, Singham’s [Aura Beam] and Niri’s [Solar Beam]

Shhhiiiinnnnggg—!

The beams swept across the sky, striking down each airborne figure, sending them straight to the temple in an instant.

"Midnight—dodge!!!" Uraan shouted urgently.

The beast veered sideways, barely avoiding the full impact, but a [Solar Beam] still grazed its wing. The raven faltered mid-air for a split second before regaining its balance.

"Damn! What the fuck?!" Uraan exclaid, watching as the beams wiped out nearly half of his forces.

The next mont, a scorpion beast erged, firing stinger projections like a Gatling gun at the remaining survivors, cutting down their numbers at a terrifying rate. Most of the slaves were at Low 2-star at best, with many only at Peak 1-star—this outco was inevitable.

Then Uraan caught a sudden glint mid-air.

Turning toward it, he saw an arrow coated in greenish energy, flying straight toward the raven’s head.

It was so fast that he couldn’t even issue a command before the Midnight Raven—now a Low 3-star beast—vanished, sent straight back to the temple.

"This is so unfair!" Uraan scread at the top of his lungs as he plumted through the sky in free fall.
