Chapter 484: Settling Things In Castle

Even Naelith seed to have assud the perverted thoughts running through Nirvan’s mind, her jaw tightening in anger.

"So what? Will you complain about a person of noble bearing over so re slaves?" Nirvan began coldly.

"And you know what? We don’t have ti. As I said earlier, the City Lord had called her for a briefing, and it’s far more important than your pathetic situation related to your slaves. And if you still insist on pressing the matter further, why not co into the castle yourself?"

Leo’s eyes narrowed. Inside the castle, things would beco unpredictable.

"What? Scared? If that’s so, then why not leave this matter here itself?" Nirvan suggested, though his eyes kept darting toward Naelith.

"Why would the person in the right be scared? Since you say her ti is valuable and getting wasted, what about my ti? I had to leave an important discussion with figures far more important than this woman’s pathetic self just to co and resolve this stupid situation my maids found themselves in. And you should know that it was this woman who forced the situation. W--"

Leo stopped when he saw Nirvan reaching into his pockets.

After putting his hands inside, Nirvan hesitated for a mont.

Tsk!

Then he threw out several round tallic objects.

Clatter!

So rolled across the floor while others struck the stone with tallic clangs.

"There you go, your compensation. If you still want more, then co to the castle and have the matter wholly resolved there."

Leo looked at the fallen coins and sneered internally.

Fucker, hesitating to throw even 10 silver coins and thinks he is sothing.

Since Leo had overheard the conversation between Oliver and the city official, he knew this was the sa good-for-nothing 4th son.

Nirvan didn’t even wait for Leo’s response before turning around. Hilda imdiately jumped forward and hugged his arm intimately, pressing her curvy body against him.

"I had to go through this headache because of you. You’d better do sothing to appease my body and mind," Nirvan whispered so only Hilda could hear.

"But of course, Young Master. We still have a few hours before the briefing, and I know exactly why you ca looking for early. Don’t worry, I will take proper care of Young Master and Young Master Junior. Hehe," Hilda whispered back seductively.

Leo could hear them clearly, which only deepened the frown on his face.

He snapped his fingers, and a gold coin materialized between his thumb and middle finger.

Flick!

BAM!

Nirvan clutched his ear and ducked to the side, only to see the wall beside the wooden door shattered and cracked apart. Spiderweb-like fractures spread outward from the impact point, where a dented gold coin remained embedded deep within the wall.

Nirvan’s anger flared as he sharply turned toward Leo.

"You dare initiate an attack against the heir of Embe--"

"Not an attack!" Leo interrupted, his voice loud and clear.

"Look closely. That’s the advance I’m giving you so you don’t run away when I co to the castle. Be prepared."

"That’s a clear att--"

"If you still insist it’s an attack, then why don’t we settle it in your so-called castle?" Leo said, staring at Nirvan dangerously.

"So be it!" Nirvan stomped his foot and turned around once more.

Though he hesitated again for a brief mont, clearly wondering whether he should take the gold coin or not. But seeing Leo still hadn’t picked up the thrown silver coins, he gritted his teeth and walked away, maintaining a shred of dignity.

But if one saw, there was a small imperceptible smile on Nirvan’s face.

Plan successfull. Nirvan thought, pleased that his work to provoke Leo’s ego and pull him inside the castle had worked.

"Naelith, Lyswenna, let’s go."

Afterthat, Leo turned toward the manager.

"The cost of damages is already in front of you. I suppose I don’t need to pay extra?"

The manager nearly jumped when Leo suddenly addressed him.

"No-N-no! Everything is covered! And in reality, it was the house’s mistake that this happened, s-so whatever you paid is already your generosity!" the manager stamred, sweat dripping down his temple after witnessing what had just happened.

How can sobody destroy a fucking wall with just a tal coin?! The manager sweated profusely.

Since commoners weren’t aware of the disparity in strength among higher-star individuals, such reactions were common. At best, people knew awakened individuals were around 10, or perhaps 20, tis stronger than ordinary humans. But what they didn’t know was that only a Low 2-star individual was already 20 tis stronger.

Currently, Leo was more than 4,000 tis stronger and capable of destroying buildings with the shockwaves generated by air punches. He had held back imnsely just so the gold coin could remain intact.

As for why such a massive misconception about strength existed, it was because not all star-ranked individuals possessed equal levels of strength, agility, vitality, or other attributes.

Take Lyswenna for example. Even if she was a Peak 3-star, it was mainly localised to her Intelligence and agility, with only a smaller portion allocated to the strength and stamina factors required to pull her bowstring.

In other words, it was her Intelligence stat that allowed her elental-powered arrows to reach Peak 3-star strength through higher mana concentration in a specific elent. Her agility and stamina were at considerable levels because, as an archer, she needed to reposition constantly during battle.

Her vitality was lower because it had little practical use for her combat style, and she rarely took damage that required heavy recovery. Her strength was the lowest because she only needed enough to draw her bowstring. Even strength stats around 10 to 50 could technically suffice.

So her stats would read as follows:

Vitality - 210

Strength - 152

Stamina - 330

Agility - 310

Intelligence - 480

Mana: 14,400 (Soul rank no. = 3)

So an elental archer’s basis of strength was Intelligence. In the case of a normal physical archer, the basis would instead be strength and stamina, since they needed to draw and hold heavier bows with stronger bowstrings capable of firing more destructive arrows.
