Chapter 59: Insignificant who

"Ravel, you should know where she lives, right?" Dale asked, leaning back on his chair, his tone casual yet demanding.

"Yes, Young Master Dale. I know where they live," Ravel replied politely, hands clasped behind his back.

"Tsk. Who are ’they’? I only need the girl’s whereabouts. That man of hers is insignificant." Dale waved a hand dismissively, reminding Ravel where his priorities lay.

"But, young master... there’s so unsettling news you need to be aware of."

Dale’s brow arched, the corner of his mouth lifting. "What is it?"

"I heard that the boyfriend made a public display of a young nobleman who offended the couple."

"What’s unsettling about that? Isn’t it common?" Dale said, smirking.

"Uh... it’s what happened after. They kept him tied up in the middle of the street... naked. For the entire day. Since then, no one’s dared to ss with them. They went into seclusion afterward, only coming out to eat or buy supplies."

"Naked?" Dale chuckled, shaking his head. "Looks like that boy’s impulsive. Hehe, nice. That makes things easier. Go tell my girls to get ready—we’re heading out to get a new girl."

Ravel bowed slightly and left to carry out the commands.

---

"Master Dale, why have you made us dress as if we’re going to a banquet? These clothes aren’t suitable for combat," asked a girl walking beside him, her silvery-blue eyes glinting under the sun. White hair flowed over her shoulders, and the white dress hugged her like silk over fla.

"Yes, Master Dale. We might not be able to react properly if soone attacks," another girl added. She had the sa refined features and matching white hair—clearly her twin.

"Attack?" Dale scoffed, his gaze sharp as a blade as he glanced around. "Let’s see who dares to attack ."

The people on the street instinctively looked away as his cold eyes swept past them. Yet it wasn’t Dale they were looking at—it was the four stunning girls walking beside him. Their dresses were bold, almost scandalous, impossible to ignore. n gawked openly; even a few won found themselves glancing twice.

Exactly as Dale intended.

He wanted attention—wanted eyes to turn their way. And when that bastard of a boyfriend looked over, he’d pounce. This trick had never failed him: lure, provoke, then poison the couple’s trust until the girl was his. It was almost an art form to him—a twisted pleasure to defile soone’s love with manipulation.

Ravel had inford him that Leo and Lily usually appeared in the evening, just before dinner. They’d eat, drink a little, and then wander ho. Dale chose that exact hour to make his move.

And fortune smiled on him.

He spotted the pink-haired girl imdiately—it could be no one else. In this wealthy district, only one woman had such hair. His eyes widened, and his breath caught for a mont.

What’s this heavenly body?

He couldn’t believe his luck. Desire surged through him, his grin widening as he strode toward her.

Lily was completely wasted. They had planned this evening as their last bit of freedom before heading out to face real monsters beyond the walls, so they’d eaten and drunk until their bodies relaxed from days of tension.

Leo, of course, had kept himself in check—soone had to stay alert—but Lily’s tolerance was practically nonexistent. Two jugs were enough to make her tipsy beyond reason.

I can’t get over her cuteness, Leo thought as he supported her weight on his arm. I never imagined I’d end up with such a pure girl.

Back on Earth, he’d long given up on finding soone truly devoted—hell, even finding a virgin seed impossible in that ss of a dating culture.

Heh. Even with that eccentric side of hers... she’s mine. Completely mine. Not that I mind yanderes—they’re actually top-tier waifu material.

He looked down at her as she smiled faintly, clinging to him, her head resting against his arm. The urge to pinch her cheek itched at him. But before he could act, his instincts flared—soone was approaching.

Several soones. And their presence wasn’t weak.

Leo instantly sobered, his senses sharpening.

"Leo... let’s just go inside a cave and live the rest of our lives... in peace," Lily mumbled dreamily.

But even she began to stir as the approaching group drew closer. Her grip on his arm tightened, her drowsy eyes starting to clear.

Dale, confident as ever, assud the half-drunk Leo must’ve been staring at his girls. He clicked his tongue and stepped forward.

"Who do you think you are, eyeing my girls like that?" he said, face twisting into a fierce scowl.

Lily’s ears perked up imdiately.

This fucker will get killed, Leo thought grimly.

But Lily’s mind was racing in another direction.

Eyeing girls? Leo never does that. Is he trying to fra him?

Both of them ignored Dale completely and walked right past.

"Huh?" Dale blinked, confused.

"You—!" He reached out and grabbed Leo’s shoulder.

The air turned cold. A biting chill spread across the street.

Leo slowly turned his head, though the frost wasn’t coming from him—it was from the girl beside him.

"Remove your hand if you want to talk," Leo said evenly, his voice flat and sharp. "It can be done without physical contact."

For a second, Dale faltered, taken aback by the calm authority in that tone. But he quickly straightened, trying to reassert dominance.

"Who do you think you are? You think you can eye my girls and walk away like nothing happened?" he spat.

"Girls?" Leo turned his head slightly, eyes flicking toward the four behind him.

"Ah, these?" His tone was casual, dismissive. "I don’t see anything special worth eyeing. In fact, I didn’t even notice them. Are you sure you’re talking to ?"

He shrugged, expression unreadable.

The girls’ hands twitched, barely restraining themselves. The insult burned like acid.

Dale, however, went red—rage boiling up to the surface, his pride ready to explode.

"Master Dale! Teach him a lesson. Of course you won’t let the insult slide." One girl hissed.
