"Monsters!"

"These monsters want to ambush us!"

An older man shouted, his voice sowhat panicked. He wasn't a warrior, just a survivor from the stronghold.

Chen Feng frowned at his words.

Xu Hongzhuang scolded from the side, "Shut up. They just happened to co across us."

This is the apocalypse.

Due to the Dinsion Wall, at any ti, otherworldly creatures might descend on this land, like the ogres before. These goblins also hail from the otherworld.

This ti, however, the number of creatures descending is outrageous, numbering over a hundred, gathering densely together, adding an invisible sense of intimidation.

Goblins have dark green skin, small and unsightly with red eyes. They are greedy, despicable, and tend toward evil, cunning, and deceit. They primarily live in the deep darkness of the underground world, with a unique order and system of action.

Though their cultural developnt isn't high, they have unique insights into mining and constructing underground buildings. Their combat ability is weak, but they compensate with large group actions.

These goblins stood together, their faces showing ferocity. The most notable was an old goblin, dressed in animal skins compared to the lack of clothes on others, eyes flashing with intelligence, holding a green stick resembling jade.

A goblin warlock.

Only a strong goblin tribe might have such beings. They possess so magic and have higher intelligence than their peers.

What's with the Dinsional Rift?

It actually brought an entire goblin tribe here.

If Chen Feng and Xu Hongzhuang weren't here, this team could have been completely wiped out, just like kobolds. Humans are in their diet.

Chen Feng watched them, and the goblins were observing the humans, craning their necks to see if these might beco their prey.

They had just arrived here; the unknown environnt needed food reserves to feel at ease.

"Thud, thud..."

A sound of a stick hitting the ground echoed as the old goblin stepped out, letting out a sowhat piercing call.

"Humans!"

The goblin's voice was sharp, like a mix of a baby and a crow. Although others couldn't understand, Chen Feng could perfectly translate it with the Demon Horn.

The goblin warlock cast an Intimidation Skill on itself to appear more fearso, standing at the forefront, shouting at Xu Hongzhuang and the others, "Before you stands the goblin leader."

"Skullcrusher—Koces."

"This is our land. To pass through, you must leave sothing behind. Won, food, these are all we need!"

The goblin warlock's intelligence far exceeded Chen Feng's expectations, even attempting to extort him.

Interesting.

The goblin warlock seed to sense these humans weren't easy to deal with, yet didn't give up, trying to obtain so daily supplies through extortion.

In so cases, people indeed give goblins things to avoid unnecessary trouble, as once gathered in numbers, they could be dangerous despite individual weakness.

But at this mont, the goblin warlock would be disappointed.

Xu Hongzhuang and the others couldn't understand the goblin language; the so-called threat was just beastly chatter to them.

Though Chen Feng understood, he had no intention to compromise, focusing entirely on Hong Jiuling. The goblin disturbance was nothing but an annoyance.

Damn creatures!

Chen Feng frowned, saying to Xu Hongzhuang, "Tell your n to pick up arms and prepare for battle."

Xu Hongzhuang froze, then nodded, shouting, "Pick up your weapons!"

"We've pushed back zombies, these little dwarfs are nothing! Everyone, take out your weapons, listen to my command, and prepare to fire!"

The Iron Demon Guard quickly reacted. Though it was their first ti encountering such beings, it didn't matter. They were warriors who only needed to understand obedience and combat, and that was enough.

Beside them, the Undead Mage also stepped out, waving the Bone Staff. Suddenly, a horrifying figure appeared in the midst of the crowd, the Tyrant, a zombie type the Undead Mage recently controlled. Despite a severed right hand, its terrifying aura remained unaffected.

"Take action!"

Following Chen Feng's order, the Undead Mage drove the Tyrant, charging toward the goblins.

The goblin warlock, seeing this, quickly dodged aside, while the goblin next to it wasn't so lucky. With a "crack," its chest caved in, imdiately followed by a curved fall to the ground.

"Puff!"

Instantly, the goblin's chest cavity fully collapsed, bones shattered, flesh splattered. The severely deford exoskeleton twisted, with its heart pierced rcilessly by broken bones. Under such impact, there was no chance to resist, dying in front of its kin.

Chen Feng's lips curled into a cruel smile. During ancient battles, there was a tradition of sacrificing, killing slaves or enemies to dye weapons with blood, symbolizing victory.

And now...

The coming of goblins had undoubtedly beco the sacrificial lambs in this ritual.

The goblin warlock widened its eyes, almost dumbfounded.

It never expected such decisive enemies, starting to kill without a second word—utterly rules-breaking!

Chen Feng glanced at the distant enemies.

Then he snapped his fingers lightly, and Xu Hongzhuang, seeing everything, shouted, "Fire!"

"Ratatatat..."

Under full firepower, human bullets clashed with goblin bodies. In an instant, blood splattered, cutting off lives.

Heart-wrenching screams rang out from the crowd.

The goblin warlock cast a protective shield, covering its kin within three ters. Those outside the shield weren't as lucky, trying to escape but not even having the chance to take a step before falling in pools of blood, lifeless.

The goblins' defense wasn't high; they were nothing against bullets.

This was simply a one-sided massacre. In less than five minutes, more than half the goblins lay dead in blood, lifeless.

With a thud!

Soone, perhaps, knelt first, followed by a swarm of goblins, eyes full of panic and fear, lowering their heads under the slaughter, showing no further hostility.

They were terrified.

Every creature has a survival instinct. Without a chance to defeat the enemy, or a hope to flee, surrendering was the only option left.

The most dramatic scene occurred when most goblins knelt, the goblin warlock also knelt with a thud, even putting its head on the ground, looking exceptionally pitiful.

Raising his right hand, Chen Feng made Xu Hongzhuang halt the shooting.

"Splat..."

Chen Feng stepped forward, kicking up a spray of blood, looking at the goblin warlock with a cold voice, "Submit to ."

The goblin warlock, sowhat dazed, looked up at Chen Feng.

"Slash!"

With a slicing sound, Chen Feng's flaming blade chopped off a nearby goblin's head, sending it flying high with a splash of blood splattering across the warlock's face.

"Waa, waa..."

This was all too terrifying, causing the aging warlock to cry out like a baby.

"Submit to ..."

Chen Feng repeated, and this ti, the goblin warlock, realizing the situation, crawled forward, beginning to kiss Chen Feng's shoes.

The lowly creatures.

Despite their weak attack power, goblins are decent builders. As slaves, they could help Order construct houses and fortresses.

Moreover, there's a goblin warlock among them who knows so magic, possibly learning support auras to enhance warriors' attack and defense.

Turning to Xu Hongzhuang, Chen Feng said, "Find so ropes to tie them up, then station soldiers along the route. If any tries to escape, kill them imdiately."

Xu Hongzhuang nodded. Non-humans, inherently alien, she was well aware of that.

Chen Feng was still pressed for ti.

His target was Hong Jiuling; the slaughter before him was rely an appetizer. Soon, the real battle would begin...
