Clang! Clang! Clang!

A trickle of blood seeped from Flora’s fist, dripping onto the ground, infusing the surroundings with a solemn atmosphere.

The Judgnt Soul Demon’s face showed a trace of shock, and a wound also marked his abdon.

In a situation where he clearly had the advantage, he was unexpectedly evenly matched with a mber of the Cat Race. During a prolonged battle of over ten minutes, although he managed to injure her, he himself also suffered various degrees of injury.

The battlefield situation beca very intricate.

Commander Flora’s demons, whether in number or strength, were less than those led by the Judgnt Soul Demon. However, due to the use of firearms and the undead, the tide of battle was reversed.

Morale was low.

This was the issue concerning the Judgnt Soul Demon. These demons were already afraid, and as the encirclent tightened, so timid ones had already started to flee. As the timid demons retreated, others lost the will to fight. Now, there was only one way: to kill the leaders of these enemies. Only then could they completely erase the fighting spirit of the remaining demons.

The Judgnt Soul Demon was too aware of these weak companions. Their limited intelligence made them completely incapable of understanding the concept of seizing victory in pursuit. As long as their commander died on the battlefield, regardless of how favorable their victory appeared, these mindless demons could not grasp it and would turn and flee.

More importantly, a mber of the Cat Race could actually command demons. If they didn’t eliminate her now, even if they won this battle, it would still pose a potential threat to them.

History always holds so astonishing coincidences.

In the Abyss’s long history, even though the majority of demons serving as lords were high-tier demons, such as the Judgnt Soul Demon, Blazing Demon, and Enchanting Demon, there were always exceptions.

Worms and Timid Demons also had the talent to beco lords. Their bloodlines might not be pure, but to rise step by step from the weakest cannon fodder to the position of lord required a fortune and ability that was not to be underestimated. In comparison to those who easily gained dominion, one cannot deny that those creatures possessed a more terrifying potential.

Flora.

A weak mber of the Cat Race could contend with him for so long. Although he didn’t want to admit it, the Judgnt Soul Demon felt so dread. He would never let a potential enemy grow stronger. He wanted to kill Flora right in front of him!

Clang! Clang! Clang.

Arms whistled through the air as they fought with all their might, prepared for a life-and-death battle to the end.

Both were becoming more injured, and the scales of victory seed evenly balanced.

Ooooooo!

A desolate horn sounded as Flora and the Judgnt Soul Demon fought ferociously. From the rear of the Mind-Reading Demon’s base camp, an urgent retreat order was issued.

A strange creature with dragon wings had slipped to the corner of the city wall, flanked by an Enchanting Demon and a Frenzy Demon, but the true centerpiece was a human-like little girl in between the two high-tier demons.

She radiated the aura of a Giant Dragon, mixed with demon blood, creating an indescribable aura that made her stand out.

The Inferior Demon wore a sly grin. Despite facing soone at the Golden Tier, unlike Flora, she showed no fear, burning with eager anticipation instead.

Emitting the aura of a Giant Dragon, it instilled such fear that the city wall guards didn’t even dare attempt to fight. Besides that, the little girl had a pair of tattered dragon wings with several holes, which, contrary to looking shabby, exuded an air of decay and defiance.

"Thud."

With a splash of blood, the Inferior Demon effortlessly crushed a Snake Demon with her palm.

"Cackle..."

A piercing, hysterical laugh rang out, and the Inferior Demon rampaged through the city guards, adeptly slicing through the elite demons before her with her agile flying ability.

The real battle begins!

Flora was rely bait, and now the Inferior Demon revealed her ruthless nature as the true general for the siege. She led the true elites, already advancing under the city walls.

On the battlefield, the key to victory or defeat was the mid- to high-tier demons. From the start, those responsible for defense were rely cannon fodder, but those following the Inferior Demon were the strongest forces in the group.

At this mont, the Inferior Demon completely transford into a killing machine. Unfolding her massive body to its full height of five ters, she had trendous intimidating force, naturally catching the attention of the Mind-Reading Demon.

The Mind-Reading Demon was a six-foot wide sphere with rows of jagged teeth in a gaping mouth, everything controlled by a central eye. Branching out were ten smaller eyes extending from the upper side of the sphere.

The Mind-Reading Demons believed themselves to be the wisest and most powerful, viewing all other beings as inferior. This attitude and their formidable ability determined their ultimate goal—to conquer and rule.

The Mind-Reading Demon frequently recruited other creatures to serve them, possessing the power to overwhelm others’ spiritual powers completely, forcing obeisance and allegiance.

They tore off the heads of adventurers and heroes reckless enough to invade the deep, sprawling underground. These monsters after guzzling brain material also manipulated thoughts with ntal powers or employed mind shocks that left their foes trembling in helpless confusion.

To ensure loyalty among followers, the Mind-Reading Demon periodically exerted powers like hypnosis to control minds.

At this mont, the Mind-Reading Demon spotted the Inferior Demon flying around the city walls, large eyes clouded with a mix of complex emotions, beyond hatred from the invasion and strangely intrigued by the presence of dragon lineage.

Giant Dragon.

Wherever it resides, always stands atop the food chain.

Securing control over this creature would fortify his regional rule, potentially organizing further expansion into surrounding areas after consolidation.

The Mind-Reading Demon was moved.

Clearly, it wished to bring the Inferior Demon to heel and serve its own interests!

It cautiously edged forward like a composed hunter, waiting for the prey to step into its ambush range.

The Inferior Demon continued her massacre, and just after reducing an Enchanting Demon blocking her path to pulp, the Mind-Reading Demon finally spotted an opening, firing a deadly beam!

This beam would invade the Inferior Demon’s mind, causing it to pledge allegiance without losing its intelligence. The Mind-Reading Demon had mastered this technique, even subduing the Judgnt Soul Demon in the sa way.

The Inferior Demon’s body trembled briefly, then slowly turned around.

The disparity in rank was obvious; the Mind-Reading Demon’s large eye shone with assured triumph.

However.

The Inferior Demon showed no sign of submission but rather seed annoyed and furious like soone happily engaged yet suddenly disturbed.

Inferior Demon.

Mindless.

Its essence was a heap of unaware sli, beyond the Mind-Reading Demon’s power to subjugate muddy goo.

Things started going out of control. Though witnessing his forces being surrounded, the Mind-Reading Demon, which never before displayed panic, was finally losing grip on its hidden fear, stepping back...
