Chen Feng gazed at the cruise ship before him, his eyes filled with thoughts.

The warship beneath his feet, although specially crafted, couldn’t compare at all to the giant vessels of peaceti.

Moreover, the ship in front of him wasn’t a cargo container ship, but a cruise ship that looked luxurious and magnificent just from its appearance.

The warship attempted to communicate, but the ship opposite remained unresponsive, like an empty vessel, making Chen Feng feel a hint of peculiarity.

Where did this ship co from?

And the crew on board?

If it’s an empty ship, how did it drift to this location?

It’s important to know that this sea area is central, akin to being in the middle of nowhere, and Chen Feng wouldn’t believe it simply walked here on its own.

More puzzling is the fact that there’s not a speck of dust on the ship’s body, as if it’s been wiped clean, with sunlight even reflecting off it.

"Warship one, two, pull alongside, board and investigate." After a period of thought, Chen Feng made a choice.

To facilitate command, Chen Feng arranged the warship nas from one to six. The number one warship? The na may not be particularly catchy, but it saves a lot of ti when commanding, only needing to call numbers.

A giant vessel like this before him also piqued Chen Feng’s curiosity, especially after days of aimless cruising that could induce lethargy among the warriors, better to find sothing to do.

Quickly, two warships docked around the cruise ship, while the remaining warships stopped nearby as a precaution against any sudden events.

Chen Feng stepped onto the cruise ship.

Indeed, a rich man’s toy, even though it’s just a ship, there were many entertainnt facilities on the deck, including two huge swimming pools.

Clear!

It’s ridiculous, though — the water is crystal clear, without a trace of cloudiness.

Chen Feng frowned slightly. If truly there’s no one onboard, then how does one explain this?

The ship’s hull, deck, and even the swimming pools are filled with clean water, evidently everything has been done by soone.

"Hmph, playing tricks!" Yet, up till now, Chen Feng felt no sense of crisis; these mysterious phenona made him eager to know the answer.

"Groups of ten, explore the surrounding areas, and if you find anything, report back imdiately!"

"Yes!"

Warriors from the two ships nodded in agreent and quickly carried weapons inside the cabin for a search.

Chen Feng sat on the deck, surveying everything before him, a carpet search by over a hundred people, thinking it wouldn’t take long before he gets the answer he seeks.

Sure enough, after about twenty minutes of exploration, several warriors hurriedly rushed over, but they looked pale like they’d seen sothing frightening, pointing tremblingly in a direction, saying: "Sir... found... they’re all inside."

"Follow !"

Chen Feng imdiately got up, let the warrior lead the way, and headed toward the destination.

This cruise was indeed lavishly decorated; even in peaceti, it would host wealthy socialites, and ordinary people likely wouldn’t get a chance to step foot here.

The ship had detailed divisions, relaxation rooms, leisure halls, even a cinema and entertainnt rooms, but like the deck, everything was eerily quiet.

Soon, everyone followed Chen Feng to the location where traces were discovered.

This was a ballroom, where upper-class individuals would host dances to foster intimacy among each other.

A professional discovered this place; although not strong, just a Bronze Tier, he had participated in several battles. However, at this mont, he looked ghastly pale as if witnessing sothing terrifying, took a deep breath, and plucked up the courage to push open the door.

Originally, so people were mocking the frightened expression of the opponent, but as the warrior opened the door, everyone’s pupils involuntarily shrank into narrow slits.

"Hiss..."

Cold gasps of air escaped from their mouths.

The soldier wasn’t mistaken; the people were indeed here, however, it was a room full of corpses.

On the tables, chairs, floor, and even the staircase of the loft, were densely packed with countless corpses, roughly estimated at over three hundred bodies.

Including several dressed in elegant evening wear or sleek suits, they were likely chatting rrily before, undoubtedly successful individuals, even a single ring in their possession might represent wealth unimaginable to the impoverished.

But now, they were lying on the ground, lifeless.

Even more eerie was that their bodies hadn’t decayed; the faces were sowhat gaunt and hair sowhat sallow, resembling dehydrated corpses rather than decomposed ones.

A year had passed since the apocalypse hit; during this period, a normal corpse would have oxidized to bare bones, but these were unexpected, bodies awry yet showing little sign of decomposition.

"What on earth is going on?"

The warriors present were no strangers to battle, but unlike those fierce circumstances, this setting brimd with chilling peculiarities.

A room filled with well-preserved corpses, akin to entering a funeral ho displaying the dead, sent a chill to the depths of one’s heart.

"Click..."

While everyone was still probing, the outside door inexplicably shut itself, this sudden event induced panic, and several people banged against the door trying to open it. However, despite the warriors using all their strength, the door remained steadfast as if soone on the outside was pulling it tight, and couldn’t be opened.

"Squeak..."

A corpse rose straight up from its posture; monts before they were lifeless, now they seed beckoned by so force, standing up from the ground.

Two bodies.

Ten bodies.

More and more responded to the call, rising from chairs, tables, or even door handles and fixing their gaze on the warriors.

The warriors weren’t inexperienced with zombies but compared to the ghastly, terrifying scene of a zombie, these corpses seed sowhat clean, and their eyes marked the biggest difference. Zombies are mindlessly bloodthirsty monsters with no emotions.

But these just-risen corpses were different; their eyes seed haze-colored, yet they hesitated and refrained from striking, persistently scanning everyone.

The feeling was as if questioning:

Who are you?

What are you doing here?
