Jake stared at the spaceship as it vanished into the sky, then slowly lowered his gaze.

Anger surged within him as he entered the building designated for collecting tasks. It was empty—only he remained. He couldn't return ho, because there was no ho left to return to. Humans disgusted him.

His race had lost the war. He had accepted that. But the biggest mistake they made... was not checking if one of them had survived. Still, he didn't bla them. Why would he? They had won. And they could kill him again if they wanted... right?

Jake glanced at the task board. It was mostly empty—except for a single assignnt: Return ho and report back in one month.

With nothing else to do, Jake sat cross-legged in the open space, closed his eyes, and sank into thought.

Inside his mind, various skills and abilities floated before him—trophies stolen from his enemies in battle. His power hadn't just increased once or twice... it had skyrocketed. He could kill his forr self with ease.

" To truly make use of these abilities, I need war... or to go where war exists. I can copy more abilities, adapt and evolve. With this form... this unlimited potential given to us by the Dreadborne Organization... I can finally see myself erasing humanity"..., Jake thought calmly.

Suddenly, he sensed a breath behind him. His eyes snapped open.

"Who are you?" Jake demanded as the figure calmly sat beside him, smiling.

"Nix," she answered softly.

Jake narrowed his eyes. He had seen every known Cosmic Executioner, and none looked like this woman. A being weaker than him couldn't approach this closely, nor sit beside him so fearlessly. That left only one possibility.

"You... you're one of the Chains?" Jake asked, shocked.

"Chain of Silence. Nix," she said, nodding.

Jake stood abruptly, stunned.

"Sit. Let's talk," Nix said gently.

After a mont's hesitation, Jake sat down again. He glanced at her—she was stunningly beautiful. His heart raced. But then, rage crept in. She was human.

"Ah... I was right," Nix said, smiling faintly. "You hate humans, don't you?"

Jake was about to respond, ready to attack, when what he saw made him freeze.

Half her face remained human. The other half... was covered in dark scales, with a horn and glowing scarlet eye.

She looked human, but wasn't. He had been ready to fight to the death—assuming his identity had been exposed—but now his movents slowed in confusion.

Her face gradually shifted back into a completely human appearance.

"You're the strongest among them. Soon, you'll break through to the Galaxy Realm and beco a Cosmic Executioner. So you should know this—we're not human, Jake. And neither are you. We knew from the start."

Jake's eyes widened slightly, but he remained silent.

"Anyway..." Nix continued, "your current form—it isn't a pure Aeron form. When you break through to the Galaxy Realm, you'll begin to crave sothing. I won't say what, but you'll beco a beast willing to do anything to obtain it. So, here's your mission."

Jake felt himself drifting in her presence—she was far too beautiful—but he snapped out of it and focused on her words.

"Go to the Federation. Ask them where the new race is located. Let them know you're from the Dreadborne Organization. Once you find them, go and stay there. Evolve there. While you break through." Nix smiled, and then disappeared.

"Huh... wait... Chain of—" Jake trailed off, confused.

It felt like she had said a lot, yet at the sa ti, nothing. Still... he would obey.

He felt strangely happy. The Dreadborne Organization wasn't human. That ant... they might fight against the humans with him. Well, they hadn't shown hostility to humans yet, but if they ever turned on him, that would an he was very valuable to them. But... how?

"Wait... if I beco the Abyssal Throne... they'll have to obey . Then I'll need to reach the Multi-Universal Realm..." Jake muttered, determined.

Suddenly, the sound of a spaceship echoed outside. He walked out, stepped into the ship as the doors opened, and departed.

At the Federation...

"Where are the others?" Drezan asked grimly.

Dared looked down, and he wasn't the only one—everyone else did too.

"They're dead, General," soone finally replied. It was Caius.

Imdiately, a massive surge of energy erupted. Space cracked apart, revealing the second layer of space. The entire Federation Headquarters trembled as powerful universal-level beings were consud by fury. They were ready to tear sothing apart.

Drezan, of course, protected them all from the fallout.

He knew this was both reckless and dangerous—they couldn't talk here.

"Everyone, to the Military Hall," Drezan said with a slight smile.

Hundreds of powerhouses frowned but complied.

The Military Hall was the safest place to speak freely. In any other organization, there would be too many filters—too many things left unsaid, like how did they die? Who killed them?

Caius wore a bittersweet smile as he looked at the angry figures around him.

No one even asked why the Eldest Prince had gone to that organization. But... would they care when they found out that so of their brightest had died at their hands?

Died at his hands...?

Well... that was for the royal family and the Federation to handle. As for him—he just had to answer.

******

Suddenly, Dared blinked—and found himself in a dimly lit room.

In front of him stood Drezan. The hundreds of powerhouses had vanished.

Liya was staring at a particular spot. She felt countless eyes watching them. And not just her—everyone felt it.

The true powerhouses weren't in the room. They were outside, observing from afar.

"Sit," Drezan said coldly. "Let's discuss. What do you an... they're dead?"

Dared looked around. Everyone exchanged glances as they slowly sat down. No one wanted to speak.

"Eldest Prince... you understand the weight of this. Their importance," Drezan said, trying to remain calm. Each of the twelve survivors were no small figures—even Dared, the weakest among them, had a Universal Realm father. He had been the forr leader of an assassination organization before it was... destroyed.

"General Drezan... I'm not joking. They're dead. Well... not only us survived. Others did too," Caius said.

Drezan and the others sighed in relief.

"So where are they now?" Drezan asked, visibly calr.

Caius shook his head. "They're all at ho."

Outside, the observing powerhouses murmured.

> "Call their hos."

> "Let their families know."

> "Haha, maybe we just arrived too early."

Relief swept through them.

"So how many survived? You said they were dead..." Drezan pressed.

"Only one thousand survived. We're the only ones from the aristocratic and royal families. The rest—died. The survivors are from organizations and various universes."

Boom!

The room collapsed in an instant. The very material used to build it was stripped of its origin. It aged and cracked, then crumbled into dust. That dust ignited and burned away as the aura of countless enraged powerhouses surged together, forming an overwhelming, monstrous presence—like a feral beast roaring to life.
