It reached a point where even re silence beca suffocating, and to the beings currently in the Fifth Layer, it was exactly that. They were here to bear witness to the first true death of a Death Angel. Yes… a primordial Rank 3 demon, already approaching Rank 4, had managed to kill one of these beings.

Even at Rank 4, killing a fellow Rank 4 Death Angel was nearly impossible. Yet this demon achieved it.
The saying was true:
The "top" the world sees is rely a stepping stone for others.
The elites worshipped by all are nothing more than servants to so.

There were beings you could simply feel would conquer everything
Beings whose destinies unfolded right before your eyes.

An absence not only of life, but of existence itself.
Monts ago, the Death Angel had been here.
Now, nothing remained.

Void slowly lowered his sword. The holes across the blade closed as it dissolved into energy and returned into his body.
His tail flicked left and right,
Each swing hiding the power to erase not just races, but entire realities.
His body was the size of multiple universes.
His scales shimred even in pure darkness.
His crimson eyes burned with the origin of fire.
Two long horns sat upon his head like a crown.
Behind him, six vast wings spread out, with two more budding on his back…
Soon, he would advance to Rank 4.
And with that breakthrough, his wings would grow into a full eight.
Void felt empty, yet overflowing at the sa ti.
Power surged through not only his veins but through every strand of his being..
Power capable of destroying or rebuilding worlds.
His very cells were like planets, each a testant to how far he had co.
"All of it could vanish in a mont…" Void murmured, his tone dropping as he stared at the void before him.
A few seconds later, he turned
And froze.
The Rank 3 beings had all stopped their battles.
Every single one was staring at him.
So with fear.
So with caution.
So with mad excitent.
But no matter their thoughts or emotions,
One thing was universal:
Shock.
Seeing this, a smirk spread across Void's face as he looked at the Rank 3 angels.
To him, they weren't angels.
They were Rank 3 souls.
Souls he simply needed to take.
His smirk widened into a feral grin as the angels felt dread crawl through their bodies. Their movents froze.
Void didn't know how many souls would be required after Rank 4, but he understood one thing clearly,
If he killed them after becoming Rank 4, their value would drop.
But killing them now, while still in Rank 3, ant their value would remain.
He didn't know the limits of his strength, but he had an idea
And even that idea was enough to make him feel fear.
Void extended his arm.
Even that small movent made the Rank 3 angels feel like a forbidden taboo was staring directly into their existence.
anwhile, the Rank 3 demons felt as if a Rank 4 demon had arrived
Yet all they saw was Void.
"Death."
Just a word.
A short phrase.....
And then, under the gaping eyes of the Rank 3 demons, the bodies of all the Rank 3 angels disintegrated into nothingness, leaving only golden souls floating in the air.
Dead?
Not exactly. Their bodies were destroyed, and while their souls could regenerate then reincarnate, the process of regaining their bodies and mories would take eons.
In simple terms...
A significant portion of the angelic army had been crippled by Void alone.
The Rank 3 demons swallowed hard.
Was the difference between a quasi–Rank 4 being and a Rank 3 truly this vast?
The truth was terrifying.
Yes, even at Rank 1, one could stir an elent or law to kill soone...
But the target had to be extrely weak.
A Rank 3 being certainly couldn't kill a Rank 1 high-level like that.
And killing a Rank 2 was out of the question.
But Void…
Void had killed millions of Rank 3 beings with a single word.
Void felt ecstatic just thinking about it.
With a sweep of his arm, the millions of souls rushed toward him.
He opened his massive mouth and swallowed them all.
Of course, this wasn't the entire army of Rank 3 angels.
The Fifth Layer was infinite.
This was rely a group that happened to be near him.
"Satisfying," Void murmured, his body feeling refreshed as if he had just stepped out of a warm bath. His pores opened as he stretched.

"Fascinating, System. Hahaha, quasi Rank 4… damn, it feels like a dream," Void said, excitent filling his voice.
[Well deserved, Host. Even in the Abyss, your strength among quasi Rank 4 demons stands at the top. You possess the Primordial Demon Body sothing even primordial demons rarely achieve.]
"Ahh, thank you for the praise… it's well deserved," Void replied as he opened his eyes
And froze.
Before him, rows upon rows of Rank 3 demons knelt, bowing deeply.
"We greet the Sovereign!" they roared, their voices shaking space itself.
Void's eyes narrowed in shock.
Sovereign…
That title…
He had almost forgotten the classification of demons.
