Now reading: Chapter 312 311:AFTERMATH : HATRED AND RUIN from Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion, a Action novel by lyonciv0.

The void was silent.

But not peaceful.

Silence followed screams that had shattered layers of reality, that had annihilated suns, planets, and entire civilizations. The air… the very fabric of space… was thick with ash, blood, and remnants of broken divinity.

Corpses lay across what remained of shattered universes. Angelic wings were torn, halos shattered, divine cores extinguished. Demon bodies burned or crumbled, their dark blood staining galaxies like ink spilled across a canvas.

Where once life and cultivation thrived, only death and ruin remained.

Rank 3 angels hovered amidst the devastation, their eyes cold, radiance flickering like dying stars. Opposite them, Rank 3 demons moved with predatory grace, wings of shadow and claws that could rend galaxies, stepping over the bodies of their own kind as if nothing mattered.

And it didn't.

Hate lingered in the air. A lingering, thickened emotion that clung to everything, to every corpse, to every living survivor.

Those mortals, those minor immortals, and even demi-gods who had sohow survived the clash… they scread, cried, cursed. Not only at the demons… not only at the angels… but at everything in existence. The war had shattered not just bodies, but trust, hope, and order.

"Why… why did no one stop them?" an immortal cried from the edge of a shattered star. "Why… why didn't the other universes help?!"

Others raised their fists at corpses, both angel and demon alike, striking, burning, screaming at the dead. They clawed at the shattered remains, splintered wings, molten blood, and fractured bones. Their rage beca a storm that consud them, a bitter show for the pain the war had inflicted.

Rank 3 angels clashed with Rank 3 demons again.

The heavens ..or what remained of them trembled under their steps. With every strike, the third layer of space groaned. Universes collapsed. Dinsional fabric tore. Stars, planets, and clusters of souls were caught between fists and claws.

BOOOOOOM!

A demon swung, rending three collapsed universes into fragnts. The angel countered, wings of pure light slashing a swath across existence, vaporizing an entire galaxy cluster in an instant.

Ti itself stuttered as their clash fractured reality. The void beca a storm of shattered laws, raw energy, and immortal blood.

"Enough of this!" one angel scread, aura flaring so brightly it tore through a hundred light-years of twisted space. "Why must we fight endlessly?!"

The demon responded with a roar that made black holes collapse in resonance. "Because hatred breeds power! You cling to justice, but it has no aning! Look at all that lies broken before us!"

They collided again.

The third layer of space didn't survive the impact. Fractures opened, spiraling into chaos. Galaxies twisted, reford, then disintegrated. Stars blinked out of existence. Ti split into jagged shards. Entire civilizations that had managed to survive the previous battles were obliterated in a heartbeat.

And still, they fought.

Below them, surviving angels and demons not enough to match the colossal Rank 3s watched in awe, fear, and hatred. Their eyes reflected the devastation, the corpses, the ruins. They cursed not just the enemy, but their allies. Betrayal, resentnt, and frustration boiled over.

So of the mortals from surviving worlds raised their fists to both corpses and living beings alike. "Why did you leave us to die?!" one shouted at an angel corpse, clawing at its shattered halo. "Why did you let the demons devour everything?!"

"Why didn't you stop the angels?" another scread at a rank 0 demon body. "Why did you let them die?! Why did you let the cosmos burn?!"

The battlefield beca a storm of curses. Hatred ignited hatred. Fire, divine light, and shadow swept across the remnants of shattered planets. Mortal survivors and demi-gods alike vented their rage in violent, chaotic, and uncoordinated strikes, tearing at corpses, burning debris, and destroying anything they could lay hands on.

Even Rank 3 angels and demons occasionally clashed with the survivors, not with intent to kill, but to assert dominance, to burn the hatred into reality, to remind everyone of the raw power that governed existence.

And the universe scread.

The combined fury of Rank 3 angels and demons was beyond comprehension. The third layer of space was obliterated entirely. Shards of galaxies spun like shattered glass. Dinsional storms twisted like serpents, swallowing entire clusters of souls. Every heartbeat echoed with cosmic terror, every swing of claw or blade rending space itself.

Yet, despite the unimaginable destruction, so survived. Those few whose worlds hadn't been entirely consud now stood with hatred burning hotter than ever. Their bitterness wasn't just toward the demons. It wasn't just toward the angels. It was toward every being that had allowed this devastation to happen. Toward every law, every order, every so-called protector of the cosmos.

The universe had offered no rcy. The war had demanded sacrifice without reason. And the survivors understood sothing fundantal: only power mattered. Only survival mattered.

The Rank 3s continued their endless dance of death.

With every clash, universes collapsed. With every step, galaxies beca dust. With every swing, the void scread. The hatred between the living beings, the corpses, and the colossal warriors above fed the storm.

In the aftermath, there was no order. No alignnt. Only survival, only destruction, only bitter hatred.

And through it all, the mortals, demi-gods, and lesser immortals learned a brutal lesson.

There would be no savior.

No ally.

No hand to hold.

In the wake of the war, the cosmos itself seed to whisper the truth:

Power alone decides fate. Strength alone ensures survival. And even the greatest civilizations, angels, demons, or mortals, can crumble when that power falters.

The survivors, standing amidst the ruins, cast their eyes across the blackened skies, hearts hardened. Their screams of grief turned to shouts of rage. Their curses beca vows. They would no longer kneel, they would no longer rely on rcy.

They would beco what the universe demanded.

And above all, the Rank 3 angels and demons, towering over the shattered third layer of space, continued to clash. Their hatred and fury alone tore through creation, shattering what little remained.

The war had ended.

But the universe… had not forgiven.

The dead outnumbered the living. The corpses of angels, demons, mortals, and immortals alike littered the void. Universes reduced to nothingness floated like shattered glass.

And from this devastation, the bitter truth echoed across the remains of existence:

"War between the angels and the demons has caused more races to go extinct. Yet those races at equal levels offered no help. This shows… in the end, everyone was on their own. Only true power matters."

At Atera…

Deep within the demonic army headquarters, a throne carved from skulls lood over the hall. This was where the demons prepared for battle against the angels and discussed their strategies.

On the throne sat a Peak Rank 1 demon, the one responsible for this planet. His mouth moved as he casually devoured one of the habitats, yet his mind was far from it, wandering across the vastness of space.

"Hm… my father's na is Void. I wonder where he is… or how strong he has beco. I was hoping I might et him in this war," the demon murmured, a small smile tugging at his lips.
