"Another enemy?" Void murmured, resting his chin on his hand in thought.
As he encountered more of them, he began to realize sothing unsettling.
His enemies were also growing stronger.
It didn't matter that he was a Primordial Demon. They were Sons of Destiny, existences favored by the world, the universe, perhaps even existence itself. Fate bent to assist them. Blessings fell into their laps. Opportunities appeared when they needed them most. They were growing at an alarming pace.
Void felt a brief urge to kill Chu Su… and Ariya as well, if she was truly present in this auction house.
But he couldn't.
Shen Ye had injured him too severely. For now, that desire had to be buried.
"Good day to everyone. Welco to another auction gathering."
Chu Su's voice rang out, calm and emotionless.
"It has been one thousand years, and it is ti for us to present our goods once more. As always, items will be brought out in batches, skills, bloodlines, power, and even slaves. We sell everything. From dicine that can revive the dead, to abilities that can command death itself."
Her lips curve into a smile.
"The only question is… do you have enough wealth or sothing valuable enough to trade?"
The auction hall lit up as a grand podium slowly rose from the ground.
Silence fell instantly.
All eyes locked onto the stage.
A veil concealed the speaker's face, but her figure could not be hidden.
Gulps echoed through the hall.
She was devastatingly alluring, arousing instinctive lust in many yet that desire was drowned beneath an overwhelming, terrifying aura that clung to her presence.
Compared to it, an Immortal Emperor's aura was nothing more than a drop of water in an endless ocean.

"What else does this auction house possess?"
"They're the only ones who could turn an Immortal Emperor into a gate guard."

Just as Liu Fan said, no one dared speak about her appearance aloud.
Soon, Chu Su's voice echoed once more, and everyone felt their spirits lift instinctively.
"Without further delay, ladies and gentlen… the auction begins."
With that, Chu Su retreated backstage as another hostess stepped forward.
"The first category for today is manuals," the second hostess announced. "This includes skill manuals and cultivation manuals."

Void froze.
Not because of the feat itself.

A single bid silenced the hall.
