Back in his castle, Void couldn’t help but think about what Linkir and his other slaves were up to.

His eyes glowed slightly as he looked into the past.

After a mont, Void stopped and took a sharp breath.

He could see Linkir’s progress and her gradual takeover of the multiverse, but it wasn’t easy. Not only her, but Void’s army was also working hand in hand, planning everything carefully to create an opportunity for the Demon Army to invade in the future.

But while observing and also watching the main protagonist, a spicy scene caught Void’s attention.

"Oh..." Looking at his clone, Osiris, and Linkir’s clone in a love-hate relationship really opened his eyes.

"I definitely have to ask her about this," Void muttered, his face full of excitent.

At least his clone had no feelings, but hers had actually fallen for him?

Soon, Void’s train of thought beca crooked.

Wait, does that an the reason she hadn’t attacked or tried to kill all these years was because she had fallen for ? Crazy... for the very being that tortured you and destroyed your world.

Void clicked his tongue in amusent before coughing.

He realized he might have been feeding his imagination too much.

She probably hadn’t attacked because she wasn’t strong enough.

But Void realized sothing from his battle with Ire.

He had to be more active.

While part of him was studying the Laws and the Magi System, he should also be personally observing things.

Just as Void was curious about spying on Dreadborne, he felt an itch.

"Ah, yeah. I did have a clone in the Abyss," Void muttered as he seed to rember.

Actually, not one but two.

While one was personally involved in the Magi System, the other was Nuk, who had been reborn from the very beginning.

Void’s eyes glowed as the past and present appeared before him.

The demon that had almost killed Nuk, his life experiences, and especially how the new Abyss had changed.

This sparked great curiosity in Void.

It seed that what Nyx had said was true.

The Abyss had really changed.

Now angels would appear in the Abyss when they broke through, and the sa applied to demons, who would appear in Heaven.

It seed that breaking through had beco far more brutal for those two races, but it would also produce stronger individuals among both races.

So for the Demon and Angel Races, it was a win-win situation.

Void had no complaints about it.

Even he felt it was better this way.

But Void didn’t have only one clone in the Abyss.

Abornim was also back in the Abyss, and he too was a Rank 3 Demon.

Not to ntion his lost Rank 3 clone(kai), who seed to have a grudge against him.

Now Void was beginning to see how, for Rank 4 Demons and above, having clones was both beneficial and disadvantageous.

It was almost an identity crisis.

With more clones, they could operate in many places at once and grow stronger and stronger.

But at the sa ti, they could lose track of them and eventually lose themselves.

Eventually, there would no longer be one true original.

Only clones vying for power to beco the one true self.

Void stretched his limbs as cracking sounds echoed through the room.

He didn’t know when Ire’s pregnancy would be close to completion and when they could officially begin attacking the Realm.

But what he did know, or rather what he needed to know, was when Dreadborne would capture that Magi Multiverse.

Magi World

"Kid, congratulations on your breakthrough," Oru spoke as he patted Azar’s shoulder.

"Th-thank you," Azar replied between breaths.

It had not been an easy thing to accomplish.

That had been more of a forced breakthrough, but his foundation was solid.

He had the knowledge.

He had been thrown into an intense battlefield.

And he possessed insane potential.

With all of those factors working together, it was only a matter of ti before he broke through.

But after his breakthrough, Azar took everything upon himself.

Tens of thousands of Tier 3 Mana-Devouring Beasts had been held back by Azar alone.

The gap between Tier 3 and Tier 4 was beginning to show.

Because of Azar’s breakthrough and his decision to stand his ground, veterans like Oru and the others had lived to see another day.

Everyone returned to camp, only this ti Azar’s tent had been massively upgraded.

Azar rely smiled at everyone.

Not much needed to be said.

This was enough.

The way everyone looked at Azar had changed.

He was no longer just a selfless and talented kid.

Now he was a rising genius.

They had no doubt that in the future, Azar would beco one of humanity’s core pillars.

Entering his tent, Azar was beyond exhausted.

His breakthrough under pressure had drained both his mana and physical strength.

The mont he entered, he collapsed onto the ground and slept from evening until the following morning.

When he woke up, Azar felt that he had changed once again.

And this change was just as significant.

His Magi Nodes seed to have expanded, and his body was filled with several tis more mana than before.

A Tier 3 spell in his hands would now be disastrous.

He could cause more than ten tis the damage that sa spell would produce in the hands of a Tier 3 Magus.

Today, the veterans were ready once more.

But now, instead of fearing death, they believed they could actually survive.

Azar led the way and charged toward the Mana-Devouring Beast Army.

Only one man was like an entire army as he cleaved through them.

Blood mist and mutilated bodies were spread across the ground as Azar advanced, and for the first ti, they did not just stop the Mana-Devouring Beasts.....they pushed them back.

Claiming a drier stretch of land, the corpses and blood here were almost gone, either eaten away or worn down over ti.

Oru and the rest shouted and sang songs of joy as they set up camp. After so many months of fighting, after so many years of intermittent battle, they were actually pushing back and reclaiming their lands.

At this ti, Azar was everyone’s favorite. They cooked delicacies from their storage bags and served them all to him so he could recover his energy. His tent was the most luxurious. But even so, Azar smiled and told them that anyone was welco to sleep there.

What was ant to be a week-long battle expanded into two weeks. News of their progress spread to other regions, and more and more people heard the na Azar.

The one who had broken through from Tier 3 to Tier 4 in under two months.

And finally, on the big stage, Azar was making a na for himself slowly but surely.

---

Soon, the two weeks were over, and they were told to withdraw. A new batch would be used to replace them while they rested for a few weeks.

Hearing this, Azar, for the first ti, saw all these veterans full of smiles and joy...a happiness one could not buy with money. And Azar was exposed to a world he had never truly seen as a noble.

There was a saying: you can see the ground from the top, but you can never experience what the ground endures while standing above it.

In simpler terms, a noble can never understand a peasant’s worries until he or she becos one.

This was not only present in this world, but in other worlds as well. Those above could never truly relate to those below, not because they could not see what was happening, but because they could not understand it. It was not their world.

Azar had beco a local legend as he climbed onto the platform and took off, heading back.

His mind could not help but drift to his maid. He wondered if she had been worried about him. But then again, when he rembered what happened before he left, Azar could not help but blush slightly.

---

After nearly a day of flight, Azar finally returned to the base camp, his face filled with worry, nervousness, and expectation.

Azar said his goodbyes to the veterans as he headed deeper into the base camp, his mind filled only with la. He did not know what to say, but who knew he had forgotten a key piece of information?

The veterans had accepted him because they thought he was a commoner like them. Those who had accepted him for who he was were already dead, so their smiles vanished as their eyes grew colder.

The goodwill they had toward Azar seed to have been destroyed by only one thing...

His being a noble.

Their joy and goodwill toward him were turning to hatred as the thousands of veterans stood in the dirty, unkempt base they were supposed to live in.

Not only them, but everyone out here knew this was not only a place for them to rest, but also a place to serve as the first line of defense against sneak attacks by Mana-Devouring hordes.

Seeing what was going on, Oru spoke.

"Everyone, please, hear out," Oru began, his expression one of struggle.

"This kid might be a noble, but what he did on that battlefield was sothing no noble would have done. He risked his life for us..."

"He is different from them. I’m not saying you should be friends with him, but at least let’s not hate him," Oru finished, as so of them pondered. After all, it was true, but the majority scoffed and left.

Oru looked at the fading back of Azar and sighed.

"You shouldn’t have revealed yourself so quickly," Oru muttered. After all, a bone-chilling hatred could not be solved with just one act of goodwill.

While the veterans that once praised him now hated him, Azar finally reached his tent, but la was nowhere to be found.

His expression changed rapidly as his mind went blank.

From what la had said, maids would not leave their master’s tent. But what if she had gone out for sothing?

Azar tried to calm his heart, but to no avail.

He entered his tent and sat down, from evening until deep into the night.

la was nowhere to be found.

At this point, Azar knew sothing must have happened to her. But what?

His eyes glowed, and a faint shade of red could be seen.

His heartbeat accelerated as he stood.

Badum.

Badum.
