Now reading: Chapter 103: Breath from Accidentally Reincarnated in Cultivation World, a Fantasy novel by TheImagination.

Yu Xuan continued to perform his breathing technique, and gradually, it was becoming second nature to him.

Why was he adapting so quickly?

The simplest answer — he was a genius.

The more complex truth was that his innate trait, [Adaptive Mind], had begun to take effect. It subconsciously morized and reinforced his breathing pattern, allowing him to grow more familiar with Primordial Breath with each session.

Of course, Yu Xuan wasn’t a stranger to controlled breathing.

His father had drilled it into him during their training sessions back in the clan.

But using Primordial Breath was sothing entirely different. It placed a subtle strain on his body — like sprinting while forcing your heartbeat to remain calm and steady.

It demanded control. Precision.

And above all, harmony.

Since ancient tis, breath had been considered more than just a bodily function.

It was life itself.

The first breath marked birth. The final one, death.

And if a mortal failed to take another breath after their first, that was simply the end.

Breath was like a natural reset button.

So naturally, cultivation placed imnse significance on breathing techniques. They weren’t just exercises — they were foundational pillars upon which power, longevity, and enlightennt were built.

Each breath carried intent. Each exhale refined the self.

Thus, in quiet harmony, Yu Xuan continued his breathing exercises. Before he realized it, his focused breathing had transitioned into a full cultivation session.

The Primordial Breath Technique was only a part of his full cultivation thod. So, while his breath refined and cycled qi, his body had already begun cultivating in earnest.

That day, without even realizing how much ti had passed, he completed multiple Minor Heavenly Cycles, each one reinforcing his control and qi flow.

By the ti he opened his eyes, the sky was dipped in orange hues — evening had already fallen.

He blinked, slightly dazed, and imdiately felt the difference.

The qi within his lower dantian now shimred faintly, coalescing into a gaseous form, a mist-like huge cloud that pulsed softly with life. His limbs felt lighter, his ridians clearer and stronger, and his mind more composed.

Checking himself with focus, Yu Xuan muttered, "I broke through... how anticlimactic."

He thought that if he even had a minor breakthrough, there will be heavenly punishnt to him, simply for cultivating a powerful technique and then that lightning turns into nourishnt.

And so the heavens accidentally helped him to accidentally beco the most OP cultivator ever.

Despite the simplicity of the mont, there was no denying the truth:

He had reached the mid-stage of Qi Condensation Realm, likely the fifth layer.

To confirm, he summoned his system, and a sleek black-gold interface appeared before him.

Navigating directly to his Cultivation Tab, the numbers aligned with his strength. He had advanced — and subtly, other attributes had improved as well.

==================

[Qi Condensation: 5/12]

[Gates – 1st Realm Pathway: 12/12]

[Primary ridians(organs) Awakened: Lung, Kidney, Large Intestine, Bladder]

[Extraordinary Vessels: Ren Mai, Du Mai.]

==================

A faint smirk tugged at his lips.

Fifth layer out of twelve — and still, no bottlenecks, no resistance. His progress was fluid, natural. The kind of seamless advancent most cultivators only dread of.

"This really is hidden boss-level talent," he said to himself, shaking his head in quiet disbelief.

Though the journey was long, this small milestone gave him reassurance.

Whatever lay ahead... he was walking the path.

Evening had settled in, and though Yu Xuan hadn’t made any plans earlier, one now ford clearly in his mind.

"Let’s just go to the arena," he muttered, brushing off his robes and heading toward the town.

***

Later, at the Arena...

Yu Xuan once again arrived at the familiar underground entrance of the arena — the battleground for Qi Condensation and Foundation Establishnt cultivators.

This ti, he wasn’t here to spectate or gamble.

He was here to fight.

As he stepped closer to the entrance, the two familiar guards, the ones who had "escorted" him out the night before — imdiately noticed him. And as cultivation improves, so does mory.

Without a word, they moved from their posts and started walking directly toward him with practiced synchronization.

Yu Xuan’s eyes narrowed.

"No way... again?"

One of the guards, the one on the right, crossed his arms and said flatly, "You’re banned. You can’t co here anymore, Junior."

Yu Xuan blinked.

"Banned?" he repeated, incredulous.

"I thought you two escorted for safety yesterday. Don’t tell ... you’re jealous I earned more Sect Points than the both of you combined?" He said it casually — but with the refined arrogance only a true Young Master could wield.

The brows of both guards twitched violently.

’This junior... flaunting his wealth without a shred of sha. Do you know how hard it is being poor?’ they thought in unison.

Still, this ti Yu Xuan exuded that special kind of aura — the kind that scread "problem child from a powerful clan."

So rather than cause a scene, the guards exchanged a glance... then wordlessly returned to his left and right, flanking him like yesterday.

Yu Xuan raised both palms.

"Whoa, wait a second! I’m not here to rob the betting counter today. I’m here to fight."

His voice was steady, calm, even reasonable.

"We’re civilized people. Talking solves everything. No need to drag out like so misbehaving child... you’re not even bribing with sweets."

Yu Xuan crossed his arms, looking entirely too composed for soone who’d just been threatened with a ban.

The two guards looked at him.

Then at each other.

"...Seriously?" asked the one on the right, raising a brow.

"Look, one of you can just co with if you’re so worried," Yu Xuan offered with an easy grin.

The guard on the right sighed and shrugged, "Alright then, let’s go. But I’m keeping an eye on you."

With a subtle nod to his partner, the guard gestured for Yu Xuan to follow, and the two of them descended once more into the underground arena.

This ti, Yu Xuan was not as gambler or spectator — but as challenger.
