Yu Xuan appeared near the battlefield and imdiately saw Lingluo tearing through everyone in her path even their leader, whose aura rivaled a peak Core Formation cultivator.

A dark purple energy swirled around Lingluo, forming a jagged armor with claw-like protrusions. The leader, a beautiful woman, bled profusely, a deep claw mark etched across her forehead from the purplish energy.

Lingluo moved like a force of chaos incarnate. When a hunter lunged at her, she grabbed his head with one hand, crushed it effortlessly, and tore the body apart. The sight was grueso, her hair and eyes now glowing a vivid purple.

Yu Xuan pushed forward. Hunters tried to intercept him, but each fell swiftly, their attacks aningless against his speed and power.

Lingluo charged at the leader again. Even under attack, her armor seed to absorb every blow, and she ignored distant strikes entirely. It was clear that calling her inferior had triggered this berserk state.

Yu Xuan gulped. He could only hope she wouldn’t unleash this power to beat him after their disagreents.

He observed her attacks carefully. The destructive force she wielded was slightly stronger than his own.

’Is it because of her chaos affinity?’ he thought.

He had too many affinities, which was both a blessing and a curse. While multiple affinities offered long-term versatility, they made it difficult to fully master techniques tied to a single affinity. Single-affinity cultivators had the advantage of complete comprehension along one path, but over ti, multiple affinities could offer broader, hidden benefits.

Nearby hunters kept interfering, repeatedly interrupting her assault. Yu Xuan’s eyes narrowed. Silently, he decided that before he talked with Lingluo, he needed to eliminate these distractions — swiftly and efficiently.

The hunters disrupting Lingluo’s assault were his first targets. He didn’t hesitate.

With a thought, his sword flashed with a streak of red light. A golden-red beam from [Immortal’s Gaze] pierced the skull of the first attacker, instantly cleaving his body horizontally at the point where his blood energy was concentrated. The corpse collapsed before it even hit the ground.

Two more rushed forward, weapons raised. Yu Xuan leapt into the air, twisting mid-spin, sending one flying with a telekinetic shove while slashing the other’s abdon with a precise arc. The hunter’s blood core flared violently before his body split apart like fragile clay.

The remaining attackers hesitated, watching the carnage unfold. But hesitation was their downfall. Yu Xuan’s movents were too fast, too precise. He advanced like a shadow, eliminating them one by one. Each strike was asured, aid at the pulsing blood cores he had learned to exploit.

Within monts, the battlefield around Lingluo cleared of interference. The surviving hunters lay in pieces but none fled.

Yu Xuan also wondered why did they not retreat.

He slowed his pace slightly, surveying the scene. Lingluo was still at the center of chaos, her purple aura roaring outward like a living storm. The leader she had been targeting was barely standing, wounds bleeding profusely, but Lingluo seed unstoppable. Her armor absorbed attacks effortlessly.

Lingluo had been in a good mood all week. Her brother had visited, and they had trained together — though the shorty had been a bit of a nuisance.

Now, in the Chaos Tower, she was greeted with a new challenge: Impossible difficulty.

Previously when she ca here, she had selected the hell level difficulty and passed in one go. It also gave here a summoning contract to Tririri. She now hoped that she would be able to get Tririri a friend so that Tririri won’t be lonely. The poor sli had no friends here.

’With Xuan’er and , this will be easy,’ she thought confidently.

At first, it was exactly as expected. They battled black-blooded monsters, and by nightfall, everything had been smooth and peaceful, until that tranquility shattered.

Red-eyed figures with strangely beautiful faces appeared, attempting to kill her. In a trial, that was normal. But when the leader of the group spoke, calling her an "inferior species," sothing inside her snapped.

Lingluo didn’t know why, but the words ignited a burning rage within her mind. How dare a re insect speak to her this way? Even her usual cheerful nature could not withstand such an insult.

’Is it because of my bloodline?’ she wondered, as an unknown power surged through her entire being. It told her to teach this "inferior" a lesson.

"I’ll show you who’s inferior!" she growled.

A dense purple aura coalesced around her, forming claw-like protrusions along her arms. She lunged at the leader, intent on ending her pitiful life. Surprisingly, the leader resisted, like a cockroach that could not be squashed easily.

Admirable though the enemy’s strength was, Lingluo was certain of her victory. This unknown power, triggered by nothing more than an insult, was unlike anything she had felt before.

’Is this how bloodlines awaken?’ she thought strangely, marveling at the surge of energy. Then, without hesitation, she unleashed her wrath, pumling the leader with relentless force.

Interferences ca, hunters trying to stop her but she tore through them effortlessly, displaying her overwhelming power. The exhilaration of the fight thrilled her.

When the distractions finally disappeared, Lingluo’s eyes settled on Yu Xuan. A slight smile crossed her face, but for the leader, that smile was the grim reaper incarnate.

She was one of the five guardians tasked with protecting their mistress, though she had often doubted whether her mistress truly needed any protection. Yet here she was, forced into duty by circumstances beyond her control.

This job should have been simple: eliminate intruders. Nothing difficult. She had a lot of experience in this line of job. Usually, her victories were clean and effortless.

She had even been generous, offering surrender to intruders so their deaths could co swiftly and without pain. But so, of course, could not comprehend their place in the world.

Now, when she faced Lingluo, sothing was different. A noble aura radiated from this intruder, and it left her montarily unsettled.

This was no ordinary intruded and she was right.
