Shi Lang and Fleet General Haru entered the base, the cultivators went through various dical tests to confirm that they didn't carry any pathogens that could annihilate the Terran race. During this ti, Shi Lang asked, "General Haru, how is the inter-galactic situation of the Federation?"
Haru smiled and said, "Sir, it is all stable. For the past seventy years, there has been no major conflict and we have managed to consolidate our strength into an iron grid. None of the other species even dare to sneak in."
Shi Lang raised his brow and remarked, "You guys made breakthroughs in the spirit and tech combination sector?"
General Haru smiled and replied, "Yes, Sir, Honorary Elder C3PO gave us a lot of guidance and he really has been a great help."
Shi Lang was surprised for a second before he recalled the bot he had found in the ruins. He asked, "Tincan is still in service? To be honest, everything here feels so distant in my mind that I am afraid I have forgotten a lot of it."
Shi Lang finished giving out a blood sample and said, "General Haru, after the tests, please destroy all of the blood sample. You don't want anyone to get their hands on it and try to experint. One drop of my blood can lead to the death of several thousands."
Haru shivered, he realized that just because Shi Lang was sitting before him doesn't an he is a normal person. He nodded in understanding and then asked, "Sir, why have you co down?"
Shi Lang smiled and said, "Two reasons. One is that I missed ho, and had been wanting to see how it was like after such a long ti. Second, that is sothing that I cannot tell you, General. I hope you understand that too much knowledge about the upper realm, it can cause disturbance in the flow of life here."
Haru nodded before he gulped. The dical tests were finished within a few minutes, and the people were cleared to roam. Alia suddenly asked, "Where can I find my mother?"
Haru froze for a second and then said, "I apologize, General Knight but your mother went into life and death seclusion four hundred years ago. She managed to breakthrough the limits of her realm, into an ascension being but the heavenly tribulation…"
Haru fell silent, and Shi Lang held Alia's hand, as the lady shivered for a bit but she quickly cald her mood and Shi Lang asked, "Her remains, where are they?"
Haru said, "I am not aware of that. Only the General Council is aware of such issues because once so wicked people tried to dig up the remains of a dignitary and tried to use it as a supplent. So, the location of the remains is kept a secret."
Shi Lang raised his brow and said, "Fix a eting with them. ASAP."
Haru nodded and then passed Shi Lang and Alia with a special high level communicator. Shi Lang didn't bother using the devices directly, he consoled Alia silently. The lady shed a tear and then she cald down. Shi Lang sensed that her spirit was moving unstably and he said, "Love, it is destiny."
Alia looked at him with a bitter smile on her face and asked, "If only we could bring them back. Right?"
Shi Lang didn't want to answer this, he knew that if he was to go through the sa trials again he might not be able to get through. The last ti was the only ti when he was able to push himself forward was because it was Alia. In the immortal plain where he had nobody else but her as his will to live on, he had to push himself. He was not sure about being able to make the sa effort for the rest of the people.
Alia saw through his doubt and she patted his hand, and said, "You don't have to answer, we both know, that even if you are doubtful at the mont, when the ti cos you will go after and do what is right."
Shi Lang smiled and said, "I wonder if my old people also.."
Alia looked at Haru and asked, "What happened to the Shi Family?"
Haru gulped and said, "The elders weren't able to sustain, but they nurtured many talented people over the generations. At the mont, the fourth generation head of the Shi Family is alive, he is the descendant of your blood sister, Supre General."
Shi Lang opened his eyes wide and asked, "I have a sister? A biological one?"
Haru replied, "You had three siblings, Sir. Two of them passed away while trying to ascend to the upper realm. The youngest one, was injured gravely in a battle with the Tora Titan race in the Intergalactic council five centuries ago. Her son decided to put her into Cryo-sleep. So that if they can find a dicinal redy, they might be able to revive her. Her grandson is now the head of the Shi Family. He retired as a major general in the military."
Shi Lang asked, excitedly, "How old is my grand nephew?"
Haru replied, "He is around one hundred and fifty years old."
Alia smiled and asked, "Where can he be found?"
Haru smiled wryly and said, "Only the general council can tell you that. I have notified them and the eting ti is being alloted. The Generals have to co back from different fronts."
Shi Lang thought and said, "I will wait, but send down to Federation, I want to tour the place."
Haru nodded, and said, "There is a ship leaving in five minutes."
The young man shook his head and said, "Too slow, inform the space station to evacuate the docking bay, we will go there by ourselves."
Haru was shocked and the middle-aged General hesitated, before Alia said calmly, "He can freeze the ti if he wants to but that would destroy the world General. Have you all forgotten the identity of my Husband?"
The General replied, "He was the strongest Terran."
It was instinctive reaction and Alia countered with her brow raised and her eyes filled with contempt, "Was? My husband is the Ace of Terrans. He is the strongest, be it now, or the past. If your General Council wishes to test us, believe , my disciples and daughters are enough to destroy this facade of military that you are so arrogant about. Don't forget who got the Spirit Tech for you lot."
Haru was pale from the overwhelming aura coming from Alia. Shi Lang patted her back and said, "It's fine, he didn't an it that way. He is just not sure about us. After all, what if we ca here with bad intentions? Not that they can stop us, but still they have to go through the motions, right Haru?"
Haru shivered and said, "I will inform them now, Sir."
After a minute, he said, "It is done, Sir."
Alia had scared him a lot. Shi Lang stood up and waved his hand to open a space portal as he said, "Tell my daughters that we will be back after the eting. They will train here for fifteen days. They can reach us on the communicators."
Haru nodded with a bow, and then he watched the couple vanish through the portal, as if they didn't exist, before he fell on the chair as he mumbled, "I felt like an ant before them."
