Shi Lang sat on the side and the entire Asura Hall was gathered in the stands, they were all here to watch the battle between Tian Long and Prince Beiming. The two elders have broken through the realm of Dao Seed at almost sa ti.
They had a huge fanfare in the Asura Hall, one of them was called Sword of Asura, and the other had gained the moniker of Spear of Asura. They made a lot of contributions to the Sect. They taught disciples and gave them pointers, often they guided the elders with cultivation related troubles as well.
Apart from Shi Lang, these two held the highest regard among the disciples. The favoritism was saturated to the level where they had their own factions among the disciples.
Prince Beiming has condensed a Dao Seed, and the signs of five decay on his person have vanished. He regained his vitality and now looked like a middle-aged man. Tian Long on the other hand appeared even younger, and he was rather like a big brother to the people.
At the mont, they both stood in the arena and Shi Lang erected a barrier around it to protect the people from the after effects of the battle. Why? If these two decided to use full power, than majority of the disciples would explode into blood mist from the shockwave only.
Fairy Moon Jade sat with Tong Bai who was filing her nails. The latter said, "This reminds of the Tian Jiao Tournant back then."
Fairy Moon Jade sighed, "Sister Bai, don't go looking at that ti please, you know what happened in the end?"
Tong Bai chuckled and said, "Master Of Purple Mist Sect forcefully took a Ten Dragon Ginseng from Shi Lang back then, leaving him injured, and this guy robbed the entire Purple Mist Sect while the elders were watching the tournant. These two dimwits fought to the point of crippling each other only to return empty handed."
Fairy Moon Jade shook her head as she looked at the other side and found Shi Lang massaging Xiao ng's head and the girl smiled blissfully. She said, "He has co a really long way."
Tong Bai nodded in agreent and said, "Oh, here they begin."
Tian Long and Prince Beiming began to clash their intents in full swing and people began to sense and comprehend them. Yes, they had not co to see who will win, but to learn. This was the attitude that had been ingrained in the people from the Asura Hall. Their endless hunger to learn and get stronger without disturbing the flow of life around them, that was what made them stronger and feared around the Immortal Plain.
Yu Xeidi sat up straight as she gazed at the two people fighting in the arena and asked, "Baba, who do you think will win?"
Shi Lang looked at the two people and frankly said, "None, it would be a tie."
This reply caused the three girls to look at him, even the Terrans who were sitting behind him were gazing at him in curiosity. Shi Lang replied, "The reason I said it would be a tie is because they are well aware of their own shortcomings, and focus on covering them up too much. To win a battle with an opponent of equal wit and strength, you need more than just skills, you need to pin point the gaps in their loops and for that you need to be aggressive.
Sense the intent that is leaking from the barrier, do you think that are being aggressive?"
His words provoked the thoughts of the people and they all understood that Prince Beiming and Tian Long both were holding back at the mont. They were unwilling to let the opponent had a complete idea of their strength, and Shi Lang sighed as he said, "So boring."
He stood up and stretched his arms as he said loudly, "Oye, the two of you, wait."
Tian Long and Prince Beiming were shocked and they froze. Shi Lang took a step in the void and said, "What are you even doing? Holding back in a decider, so boring. The children are here to learn. You should give them what they want."
Tian Long asked, "What do you want? We are just warming up."
Shi Lang smiled and replied, "I will give you both a chance. You wanted to be the judge of the battle right? Fine, you both can attack , and if you can make bleed even a drop of blood, you will win. The first one to make bleed will win and I will forge a special weapon for you."
Tian Long and Prince Beiming were interested in this proposition. The two of them exchanged a gaze, and they said, "Agreed!"
Tong Bai sighed and said, "Fuck, I think I jinxed it."
Fairy Moon Jade shook her head and replied, "No, they wanted this to happen from the mont they thought of this duel."
Tong Bai raised her brows and Fairy Moon Jade replied, "They want to refine their cultivation even more, and that would be possible only when they face pressure. They are not monsters like Shi Lang, they need the push."
Tong Bai nodded and said, "I see."
The next mont, Shi Lang stood before the two people with his hands behind his back and said, "Begin."
Prince Beiming was a step faster than Tian Long and said, "Heavenly Serpent Strike."
He stabbed his spear directly at Shi Lang, and the sharp intent manifested in the figure of a python that dashed towards Shi Lang baring its fangs. The Terran just stood their with a calm face, and as the python slithered it's way over, Shi Lang waved his hand and the sword intent directly took out the python and Shi Lang said, "Can you be serious? One more lousy move and I will make you both grovel at my feet."
He knew what they wanted and so he wanted them to act like that. The entire arena was silent, none of the people expected sothing like that coming from Shi Lang. The Terran exposed the two elders right in front of the people who admired them and this pissed them off.
Tian Long replied, "Since that is the case, take this you arrogant prick."
He was never to hid the frenemy relationship with Shi Lang, and unleashed his sword intent. It was as if the void was burning. Tian Long revealed his strongest attack, and slashed his sword at Shi Lang while yelling, "Burning Firmant!"
The sky behind Tian Long turned red from the hue of the flas around him. His sword also condensed into a wave of flas interlaced with the sword intent that could shred anything in its path. However, was that enough to deal with Shi Lang.
The Terran looked at the attack and said, "Good, you have improved but you still lack sothing."
Shi Lang grabbed the void and Raksha materialized in his palm, he slashed the weapon and said, "Lightning Slash."
Compared to the slash coming at him, his own attack looked puny, it was just the tenth of the size that Tian Long had, but the sword intent radiating from it was causing fissures in the fabric of the void. It was not that Tian Long's attack was bad, but his attack was not dense and Shi Lang's lightning slash cut through the attack like it was made of butter.
Tian Long was frustrated that this guy was overpowering him once again, but he could do nothing until he grew stronger. Prince Beiming saw that the lightning slash was still moving forward and the next mont, he took a deep breath and said, "Stabbing the heavens."
His voice was calm, but a ray of light emitted from the tip of his spear and it shot through the void in an instant. Prince Beiming had comprehended the elent of light, it was a rarity and dark energies could not stand it, but as the light and lightning collided together they fell into a stalemate.
Shi Lang raised his brow and snorted, the lightning slash vibrated and tore through the ray of light with ease. This ti the speed of his lightning slash was not effected and it headed directly to the two people. They both attacked, the Lightning slash and after a combined effort they managed to take it down, however, they saw Shi Lang was now standing behind them with a grin on his face.
He applied his spiritual pressure on them and caused them to freeze. He said, "After all these days, I have been wondering what is the major change in my spiritual energy, and it turns out that I have so influence of ti in it now, or shall I say the ability to freeze a few things within my range. Like you two, right now."
The two were suppressed and they were forced into a horse stance, and Shi Lang said, "For the next seven days, you will be staying here, this sa position you will hold. Do your best to comprehend your Dao Seeds, I will see you after a week."
Then he vanished leaving a dead silent and distressed Battle Arena. Fairy Moon Jade held her forehead and said, "I told them not to provoke him like this."
