Shi Lang rode the mare and he kept on channeling the fla energy in the body of the steed. His energy healed the injuries that the beast has incurred and the Sun Archers could see the difference in the steps of the steed. They had no idea what was going on. Nishan turned to look at Shi Lang and asked, "Lord Shi, what are you doing? How is this mare improving so well?"
Shi Lang smiled and replied, "I am channeling fla energy inside her body. I can see that your horses have all been trained well and they are well nourished, but they must have been put through a lot of competition which resulted in internal injuries."
Nishan was surprised and asked, "Can fla energy help them improve?"
Shi Lang nodded and said, "It will but the condition is that you provide them with pure energy."
Nishan nodded and replied, "Thank you, Lord Shi. I will keep this in mind and ask the people to try this thod."
Shi Lang nodded as he patted the nape of the mare and they continued charging forward. As they continued their journey for several months, and the Terran developed a proper bond with them and began to treat them as equals. They fought together, and they defended together.
They developed a bond of life and death and Shi Lang had beco a well received friend to them. Many tis people ca looking for trouble with him and the Sun Archers discovered the strength Shi Lang commanded. They revered him but they also feared him. The Terran never spared his enemies, but he was compassionate to his allies. Sotis when a Sun Archer got injured, Shi Lang offered the best pills that he had on him.
Thinking about this, Nishan also deepened the ties of their collaboration and contracted the Asura Hall for pills in exchange of herbs and pill recipes that were suitable for their race. Shi Lang accepted the deal as his people would negotiate enough profit. After a few days, they reached a place which appeared to be sowhat different.
Shi Lang narrowed his gaze and they he replied, "A natural array?"
Nishan smiled and nodded before he said, "Yes, there is a huge array, this is the region we call the Ranking Tower."
Shi Lang frowned and Nishan said, "Inside this formation, every step you take will bring you face to face with one opponent at a ti."
The Terran frowned and replied, "I thought it would be a tower made by the people. How do one determine the ranks?"
Nishan raised his hand and pointed at the sky and Shi Lang saw a huge list of nas. This was the ranking list, he mumbled, "Nice."
He jumped off the mare and patted her nape as he said, "Now, you better work hard and set a standard for all your kin. Okay?"
He liked this steed, because not only was she docile, but she was competent as well. She was the only mare in the pack of studs, but she didn't entertain their advances, Shi Lang had been interacting with her for many days and found that Mahima was rather spiritual.
Shi Lang turned around to look at the formation when he sensed a tug on his shirt. He looked back and found the mare lowering her head to him. Nishan and his comrades were surprised, the forr said, "Brother Shi, she wants to acknowledge you as her master."
Shi Lang patted the forehead of the steed gently and said, "If I take you as my spirit beast, it would be a binding to you. I don't have a habit of traveling with companions. In the past, I had a lightning horse from my world as my companion, however, all I ever did for him was to provide him resources. He is a mber of my force, but I gave up the contract and he is now following my second daughter.
Mahima, your future is bright, and while you can survive in the Dao Plain, you might not like the Immortal Realm. It is not as warm as your Sun Archer Realm. I will rember you, if you ever manage to attain a realm where you can attain a human form, co and look for . I will treat you as my friend."
Mahima bowed her head and nudged Shi Lang. Nishan sighed and said, "It takes decades to for the practitioner to gain the loyalty of an Ashva Shreshta, but here you are proving that genuine care can bridge the gap even more easily."
Shi Lang smiled and then he patted the steed as he said, "Brother Nishan, I will now head in. You should head back to your place as well, after all, my company has brought you all a lot of trouble."
Nishan shook his head, and replied calmly, "Brother Shi, in all these days, we have learned a lot from you. Thank you, for your guidance. We will et again once you have finished your tasks here."
Shi Lang nodded and then with a quick step he vanished from the place. Nishan and the rest stayed for a few minutes, before they left. Shi Lang trusted them, because he had seen how the sun archers would suffer if they even made a slightest of mistakes in the usage of words, let alone lying. A race which didn't have the ability to lie, how curious.
Shi Lang entered the formation and he saw a jade rabbit on the ground. The rabbit looked like a normal rabbit, but his eyes were spiritual. The Terran sighed and mumbled, "To think that a treasure hunting bunny would be placed above humans, when was the last ti we took part in this ranking list?"
The bunny raised its head and looking at Shi Lang it said, "You called a treasure hunting bunny? How dare you?"
Shi Lang clicked his tongue and radiated his killing intent, in an instant, the rabbit vanished. He shook his head and remarked, "Is the Myriad Treasure Rabbit race any different than treasure hunting machines? Mother fucking rodent."
The Terran took another step forward and he t a sheep like creature. The Terran handled it with ease. He was unaware that with every step he faced an enemy and the ranks outside were changing. He was causing the nas shift by one position with every step forward.
...
A group of passing cultivators happen to notice the sudden flicker in the rankings. They were all humanoids but they had a stone embedded in their foreheads. One of them said, "Interesting, soone is challenging the ranking tower."
The young lady in the front of the group stopped in the void. She turned her head to look at the ranking, and her eyes sparkled. She said, "The fluctuations are faster than what the list can keep up. I wonder which race has produced a talent capable of causing such a reaction from this place."
The people behind her nodded and the man from earlier asked, "Your Majesty, shall we wait here to see what is going on? After all, the appointnt is still one year away, and this happens to be one of the safest places in the Dao Plain."
The lady nodded and said, "Let us set camp here. If this talent can be allied with, it would be good."
One young man chuckled and said, "Your Majesty, if the natives here you speak in such a high tone for an outlander, they would take offence. Its not like the Jewel Eye race lacks talent."
The lady smiled and looked at the man and said, "Kyru, we should never underestimate the other races, and also, rember once a race nurtures a talent, the talent nurtures the race."
The people nodded and they settled down next to the formation.
