Marika’s smiling face slightly froze, but she still gently said:

"Ah, such a cruel remark, but I heard that besides the King, there are no nobles in the Cloud Mountain Kingdom, right? You’re not a noble either but what you call a ’peasant.’"

"How can that be the sa? I am the Guard Captain, a position personally granted by King Ferngard!"

Gornier raised his head, "Of course, the Cloud Mountain Kingdom has no nobles; those nobles were driven out by King Ferngard long ago. The most prestigious person in the whole country is him, followed by !"

"Do you think I was scared just now? No, that was strategy!"

"The natural disasters are indeed very famous Pirates, but King Ferngard will not lose! No matter how strong a Pirate, they’re just Pirates!"

He chuckled, raised his hand to pull off a white cloak beside him, revealing a peach-shaped figure. He reached out and slapped it, and the peach figure turned into a fresh, red peach falling into his hand.

"And you, Pirate, will have the sa ending!"

He took a few bites of the peach, casually grasping the pit, "Vitality Peach Spear!"

The peach pit sprang up dust in his hand, rapidly turning into a Fruit Core Spear, spraying tiny peach seeds like shrapnel.

anwhile, those white cloaks around him moved in unison, all rushing towards Marika.

Bang!

A faint sound, ahead of the fastest seeded peach, the attack that should have hit the woman was blocked by a mass of flowing black waterfall.

The black waterfall surged, twirling into black currents and shooting swiftly, piercing into those attacking white cloaks.

As it penetrated them, dust erupted inside the cloaks, leaving behind a pile of food on the ground.

The black ’currents’ dispersed outward, letting Gornier see clearly.

What was flowing water was hair!

Among the wildly flying, snake-like hair was Marika’s delicate face, still wearing a gentle smile.

"I see, a one-man King? Like Sage, but why must it be this way? Your King, his desire wouldn’t be heavier than Sage’s... I don’t understand."

She took a thoughtful pose, paying no mind to Gornier in front of her.

"Damn it! Don’t ignore !"

Gornier roared in anger, lifting the Fruit Core Spear, about to continue pulling the trigger when he heard a hiss, and a hair-ford spike swiftly approached, piercing from his chest straight out through his back.

"Uh..."

He lowered his head, blankly looking at the hair embedded in his chest, his pupils gradually scattering.

"If you don’t want to be ignored, then the only choice is to defeat you; it seems your luck is bad... you’ll die." Marika said with a laugh.

Such a person isn’t qualified to be anyone’s threat.

His abilities are indeed peculiar, not considered weak; after all, this guy’s ability should be most suited for the Big Mom Pirates, perhaps fitting Cracker’s style well.

But now...

He doesn’t even know Haki, unqualified to be her opponent.

And for soone like this, Marika has no interest in battling him.

"Food is not a toy; it’s sothing that allows humanity to continue and makes people feel happiness. Wasting food is not a good thing. I hope you pay attention in your next life."

She tilted her head slightly, smiling, watching Gornier collapse to the ground, eyes losing all light, falling forward.

"Hmm... might there be a food warehouse over there?"

She walked past Gornier’s corpse, heading in another direction, disappearing into the passage.

When the hall was completely empty, a piece of luminescent, jade-like tile suddenly flicked up, revealing a middle-aged man wearing a black robe, with an apron-like garnt around his waist.

He glanced around and then turned toward the large iron door, grinning widely, revealing sharp white teeth, looking sowhat grisly.

"Becky..."

...

In another passage, Lily walked through the spacious corridor, occasionally glancing around.

The wide corridor wasn’t as luxurious as Sage’s Royal Palace, but the fluorescence was exceptionally bright; on closer inspection, it wasn’t entirely pure white but white tinged with yellow, making the illumination seem so sacred and luxurious.

But this wasn’t quite like what Moriah said...

"Stone Transducer, a unique lighting device in the West Sea, useful when going down mine tunnels, avoiding the issue of installing lamps everywhere and using fire, but never this large..."

Lily touched the wall along the way, "From this corridor’s opening, the Royal Palace’s area must be vast, possibly hollowed out of the mountain... surely larger than our Royal Palace, to reflect so many of the stone’s lights, it should be impossible. But this light..."

Sage previously said indeterminate value; perhaps he simply thought the glowing stone looked nice and wanted to take it back as decoration.

This would an the stone is likely worthless.

She moved her fingers away, staring at the gleaming light layer on her index finger, furrowing her brow.

This luster seems sowhat off...

Slash!

Suddenly, the sound of sothing being sliced echoed, right at the end where Lily reached out, the wall appeared to be slit open, forming a smooth cut.

This caused Lily’s gaze to freeze; the mark of this cut... is slightly more formidable than the typical cut made by a Sword Master’s strike.

When the wall cut appeared, it was pushed open by a hand, creating an opening for soone to walk through.

"Guest, co in for a chat."

A sinister voice rang out from within.

Lily looked into the opening; from this angle, she couldn’t see the face, but she could see the figure dressed like a chef, yet the chef’s coat was open, resembling a doctor’s attire sowhat.

"What, you’re afraid? You, who have trespassed into the Royal Palace, are already condemned to death, yet you fear to accept my invitation? This is the trial every intruder of the Royal Palace should face."

"Accept my invitation, and you might survive. If you don’t accept, death awaits you!"

Upon hearing this, Lily’s lips curled up, "Alright."

Shing!

Sword light flickered, instantly slashing a few big cuts in the wall, as the smoothly cut stones fell, a bigger hole appeared in the previous opening.

Amidst the falling stones, so strange threads appeared, along with cut tools and broken guns...

Traps.

Lily stepped in directly, looking at the dumbfounded man, shaking her head: "You invited in, and I ca. But I’m curious, did you invite Sage before?"

Every intruder should face the trial?

Lily was sure he definitely hadn’t invited Sage.

Otherwise, what Lily would see now should be a ss of blood, not encountering soone trying to act mystically, setting many traps, waiting for soone to enter voluntarily.

Similarly, for Lily, his ending would be the sa.

Her bounty isn’t just for show.
