Konohagakure no Sato:

The July sun hung heavy and gold in the center of a cloudless sky, baking the earth of the Konoha training grounds until the air shimred with heat.

The season was at its peak—the cicadas provided a rhythmic, buzzing backdrop to the whistling wind that carried the scent of dry pine and parched grass. In the center of this sweltering arena stood Uzumaki Naruto.

It had been two months since Hattori-sensei returned. Naruto had always respected the man's sharp, unconventional wisdom, but the real shock wasn't his return—

it was his decision to step back into the fray as a Jōnin sensei. Even more surprising was the team he had hand-picked: Gian, Shizuka, and Suneo. The Unexpected Trio.

Naruto adjusted his stance, his muscles humming under the weight of his seals. He rembered seeing them together for the first ti after their official formation.

In these two months, Naruto had also noticed their changes.

Gian, usually a loud-mouthed bruiser, had been transford under Hattori's discipline. He was no longer just swinging his fists; he was learning the "Heavy Hand" of tactical suppression combined with his Earth Style Jutsu.

Suneo, whose family wealth usually bought his way out of trouble, was being forged into a high-speed scout. His natural agility and intuition were being fully utilized and honed.

Shizuka, the heart of their group, had found her calling in precision. Under Hattori, she was becoming a specialist in field dicine and long-range support, her calm nature serving as the anchor for the two volatile boys.

Even Nobita had passed his exams for the Police Force and was now training to beco a formal part of the Konoha military police.

Suddenly, Naruto's Hound's Senses tingled. A familiar, sharp chakra signature was approaching the clearing. Naruto didn't drop his guard. He knew that scent—a mix of expensive incense and cooling tea.

"You're thinking too much again, Naruto. In this heat, that's a quick way to boil your brain."

Naruto didn't flinch. He didn't even turn his head; he knew the weight of that presence.

Hattori appeared at the edge of the clearing, looking remarkably cool despite the sweltering July air. He was dressed in his typical functional gear, his eyes scanning the drenched earth where Naruto had been practicing & sweating his explosive pivots.

Naruto looked at Hattori. In the two months since the man had returned, they hadn't trained together much, but a silent understanding had ford.

Hattori was one of the few who looked at Naruto genuinely. Observing Naruto training with his weights, Hattori furrowed his brows and gave a silent command:

"Alright, lose the weights."

"Yes, Sensei."

As Naruto unfastened his equipnt—consisting of four bands, one belt, and a weighted vest—Hattori looked around the training ground at the shadow clones practicing in various corners.

Hattori looked east and saw the clones practicing hand seals. He noticed their progress, which had reached a staggering seven seals per second. Hattori turned his head to observe the other three directions.

(Wind Sword, Leaf Taijutsu, and Soot Cloud Jutsu... He has stopped practicing the Body Flicker? Did he already master it like the others?)

Hattori rembered when Naruto had asked for a performance review regarding his Body Flicker and other techniques. Hattori had been astonished to see Naruto performing several jutsu perfectly with only two or three hand seals. By last week, Naruto had mastered:

Water Shots

Double Suicide Decapitation

Fire Stream

Mist Dew Jutsu

The only techniques left on his list were the Body Flicker, Overdrive, Wind Sword, and Soot Cloud Jutsu.

Hattori noticed the clones were currently performing the Wind Sword on their kunai. He stepped into the center of the clearing, the dust from Naruto's discarded weights still settling in the air.

The silence between them was heavy, broken only by the frantic buzzing of the cicadas.

"You've mastered the basics of elental compression," Hattori said, his eyes locking onto Naruto's. "If you've stopped practicing the Body Flicker, show why."

Naruto took a deep breath, his body feeling dangerously light. He began to demonstrate the remaining techniques in his arsenal. Hattori didn't just teach Taijutsu to Naruto; he trained him in every aspect of combat.

"The Body Flicker" (Shunshin no Jutsu)

Instead of the usual smoke or leaves, Naruto's movent was nearly invisible. There was no "pop" of displaced air, just a sudden absence where he once stood.

Naruto reappeared behind Hattori, then instantly three paces to the left. He wasn't just moving fast; he was suppressing his intent. It wasn't teleportation, but a high-speed blur so refined it left no trail for the senses to follow.

Hattori watched the display, noting the strain that the Body Flicker puts on the body, especially with consecutive uses.

"Enough."

Hattori watched as Naruto stood in the center of the clearing, his chest rising and falling in a controlled rhythm.

To the outside world, Naruto was a powerhouse of jutsu: a prodigy who had mastered complex elental releases and high-speed movent at a rate that defied logic.

"You're recovering fast. That stamina of yours is... unnatural," Hattori remarked, notably moving past the Body Flicker. His eyes sharpened as he pushed himself off the tree. He ignored the far-off borders of the training ground, focusing entirely on the boy standing before him.

"Alright. Let's begin. You ready?"

"Yes, Sensei!"

Before the last word had fully left his lips, Hattori vanished.

Naruto's Dynamic Vision Lv4 kicked into high gear. To any outside observer, Hattori had simply ceased to exist, but to Naruto, a blurred streak of motion was cutting through the heat haze from his left.

THUD.

Naruto raised his forearm just in ti to catch a brutal roundhouse kick. The force sent a vibration through his bones that felt like being hit by a runaway cart. He didn't have ti to gasp; Hattori was already gone again, appearing in his blind spot.

Left! No—behind! Naruto's Hound's Senses scread.

Naruto ducked, the wind from Hattori's palm strike ruffling his golden hair. Naruto tried to pivot, his hand reaching out to grab Hattori's sleeve for a counter, but he was grabbing at shadows.

Hattori's speed was clinical—it wasn't just raw power; it was the efficiency of a man who moved with zero wasted energy.

"Too slow," Hattori's voice drifted from the right.

A flurry of strikes descended upon Naruto. Hattori was using pure Taijutsu, his hands moving in a blur of jabs and palm strikes.

Naruto entered a desperate defensive flow. His MindHub Lv4 was working at maximum capacity, predicting trajectories and calculating angles of impact based on Hattori's center of gravity.

Snap-kick to the ribs: Naruto shifted his hip, taking the blow on his reinforced side.

Double palm to the chest: He crossed his arms, the impact sliding him back three ters, carving grooves into the cracked earth.

High-low strike: He bobbed and weaved, his Leaf Taijutsu Lv4 instincts barely keeping him from a knockout.

Huff... huff... huff...

"You're defending well," Hattori noted, his movents accelerating even further. He was a whirlwind of precision, circling Naruto like a predator.

"Your intuition is sharp. But you're purely reactive. You can't find an opening because you're terrified of the next hit."

Naruto gritted his teeth, sweat flying off his face from the sheer force of the exchanges.

Every ti Naruto tried to launch a counter-punch, Hattori was already three steps ahead, tapping Naruto's shoulder or elbow to redirect his montum before the strike could even form.

It was a humiliating display of the gap between a Jōnin's seasoned speed and a student's potential.

Naruto activated another skill: Lone Wolf Lv3 flared, his focus narrowing until the entire world was just Hattori's flickering silhouette. Naruto was accurately blocking 90% of the strikes—a feat that would have left any other student unconscious—but he was trapped in a cage of high-speed defense.

"Is this the limit?" Hattori challenged, appearing directly in front of Naruto, his hand poised an inch from Naruto's forehead.

Naruto froze, his breath coming in ragged gasps. He had defended accurately, but he hadn't landed a single touch. In this raw exchange of speed and bone, he was still just a boy chasing a ghost.

Hattori stepped back, the oppressive pressure of his speed vanishing instantly. He looked at Naruto, who was still in a defensive stance, his muscles trembling slightly from the adrenaline.

"You can see ," Hattori said, a hint of genuine appreciation in his eyes. "Most can't even do that. But seeing isn't enough."

Hattori lunged again. This ti, the speed was different—less like a man running and more like a flicker of static.

The voice of the Great Sage echoed in the back of Naruto's mind, cold and analytical. It was Naruto's own voice under the effect of the Sage. It turned the chaotic blur of Hattori's movents into a series of calculated vectors. Hattori's fist whistled toward Naruto's temple.

Naruto tilted his head. The knuckles grazed his skin, but the impact was avoided. Hattori didn't stop; he transitioned into a low sweep, followed imdiately by a rising knee.

Under the guidance of the Great Sage, Naruto's body moved with an eerie, chanical precision. He wasn't just reacting to what he saw with Dynamic Vision; he was reacting to the data the Sage was feeding him about Hattori's muscle tension and air displacent.

"Still just blocking?" Hattori grunted, his palm slamming into Naruto's crossed forearms.

THUD.

Naruto skidded back, his feet digging deep trenches into the training ground. To Hattori, it looked like Naruto had an incredible, almost supernatural instinct for defense.

Naruto didn't know the Great Sage was currently processing hundreds of data points, highlighting Hattori's strike zones in Naruto's ntal field of vision.
