"Thankhun, tell Big to stop growling!"
TaoHuYee mouthed silently at Thankhun, his words carrying no sound. The Tyrannosaurus Rex had already begun walking toward them, its piercing gaze fixed directly on Big.
"Why don't we just fight it? It's only one beast, and there are nine of us, plus a beast king on our side. We've got great odds,"
Jane questioned in confusion. Hero nodded in agreent, as did the Four Tao. Crown, realizing he was not facing a real dinosaur but a ga beast, laughed sheepishly at himself.
"Yeah, that's true!"
Everyone struggled to stifle their laughter at Crown's embarrassed expression, except Duncan, who looked thoroughly unamused.
"Let's do it. There's no point trying to dodge in a closed space like this; we won't get away anyway,"
Duncan said, spinning the dual knives in his hands and laughing softly. Everyone nodded in agreent. Thankhun signaled to Big, who imdiately lunged at the Tyrannosaurus Rex upon receiving his master's permission.
Big's claws slashed at the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which appeared montarily stunned. The creature, thinking Big was just a strange, furry boulder, had not anticipated such a sudden attack. Big's claws raked across the dinosaur's face, forcing its head to jerk violently to the side. The massive creature stumbled several steps but managed to steady itself without falling. Big let out a roar as loud as the Rex's.
It seed Big wanted to handle the fight solo. The lion did not leave any openings for Thankhun or the others to join the attack. Thankhun and his group stood back, watching the battle unfold. It was a showdown between Thankhun's beast king pet, the White Cloud Lion, at level 105, and the level 96 Tyrannosaurus Rex, which was significantly larger than Big.
"Your pet is incredible, Thankhun!"
TaoHuayNomSod exclaid in awe. Not only was Big majestic in appearance, but his combat movents were equally graceful.
BOOMMM!
Before the complint could fully land, Big was struck mid-body by the Tyrannosaurus Rex's powerful tail. The impact sent the lion crashing into a cave wall with a deafening thud, leaving him sprawled helplessly on the ground. Thankhun shouted after his pet impulsively. The Tyrannosaurus Rex, poised to follow up its attack on Big, redirected its focus to Thankhun instead.
The dinosaur roared loudly and charged at Thankhun, who tightened his grip on his sword in a defensive stance. Despite his preparation, he was not confident the stance would do much to stop him from becoming the Rex's next al.
BOOMMM!
Just as disaster lood within a split second, Thankhun felt a sudden gust of wind. Though he tried to keep his eyes on the scene, the events unfolded too quickly to process. The enormous Tyrannosaurus Rex, charging with astonishing speed given its size, was suddenly airborne. It had been struck by Big, who sent it flying into the cave wall. The Rex's snout had co within re inches of grazing Thankhun's nose tip, a close call that sent chills down his spine.
"Ugh, T-Rex breath!"
TaoHuYee exclaid, gagging as if he was about to vomit. Thankhun grimaced but said nothing. He felt the sa way, though he chose to suppress his reaction, knowing he needed to step away from the area as quickly as possible.
The battle between Big and the Tyrannosaurus Rex raged on fiercely. Both creatures were massive. While Big was smaller, his ferocity was unmatched. He dodged the giant jaws of the Tyrannosaurus Rex every ti, staying close to attack rather than keeping distance, as moving too far away would expose him to the powerful swings of the dinosaur's tail. It took Big a while to break through the thick skin of the Tyrannosaurus Rex and open a wound.
Once he managed to inflict a severe injury, the Rex's strength began to wane, with blood gushing from the repeated attacks to the sa wound. Growing weaker, the Rex tried to flee. It charged toward the cave wall, seemingly desperate to escape from Big, who bore only minor injuries. The impact of the Rex smashing into the wall caused the ground to shake violently, forcing Thankhun and his friends to grab onto whatever they could to avoid tumbling over.
Big advanced steadily toward the panicked dinosaur. The creature had lost so much blood that it appeared terrified, perhaps even viewing Big as a grim reaper, coming to claim its life. It let out a loud roar before bolting in the opposite direction. Unfortunately for Crown and Duncan, they were in its path and had to sprint away. Big looked irritably at the Rex, clearly bored of the chase. The cave felt cramped, and he longed to finish the battle and return to the open fields for fresh air.
Fixing his gaze on the flailing Tyrannosaurus Rex, which was now trying to bash its way through the cave wall on the other side, Big crouched and launched himself forward. To everyone watching, Big beca a streak of white light as he raised both front paws high and delivered a slash with his claws, which seed like beams of light. Using the Imperious Lion's Claw skill. The Tyrannosaurus Rex collapsed to the ground, as the system announced its death.
While Thankhun and his friends were still frozen in awe, the symbol of the eclipse appeared on the ground once again. Big approached his master and affectionately rubbed against him. Thankhun smiled, gently petting his companion before giving him several rejuvenating crystals and blood crystals to replenish his strength.
"Look, the symbol is back on the ground,"
Hero said, prompting everyone to glance down before turning their eyes to Thankhun. He was their key to advancing to the next stage.
"Let's give Big a little ti to rest first,"
Thankhun said. Everyone nodded in agreent. Big had saved them all, whether out of eagerness for a fight or whatever, allowing them to conserve their own energy during the battle against the Tyrannosaurus Rex. They did not know what awaited them in the next stage, so conserving strength was a wise decision. The n took turns thanking Big before finding flat spots to sit and rest, waiting for Thankhun's command to move forward once more.

Troy City
A large port city on Europa Island, Troy City exuded the charm of ancient Greek civilization. The streets were paved with stone, and the columns and buildings were masterfully carved from stone. Among these was the headquarters of the Caesar Guild, a grand building resembling a temple dedicated to the gods. In front of this building, players and NPCs gathered in droves, as though awaiting a significant event.
One of the many in the crowd was Apollo, the forr guild leader who had been ousted by his guild mbers for misconduct. His offenses ranged from acts of xxx and xxx to xxx. Despite his handso appearance, which still turned heads among the ladies, many in the crowd had witnessed the power shift that led to his removal. They knew that Apollo's tastes were anything but ordinary.
The blare of trumpets from within the Caesar Guild headquarters signaled the arrival of the much-anticipated mont. The crowd turned their attention toward the building, where movent was now visible. A large group of players erged, exuding an air of dignity. Leading them was a player who had previously been seen being heavily pressured by the strict deputy guild leader. Flanking him were a tall player in distinctive attire and the no-nonsense deputy guild leader himself. Behind them marched several leading guild officers, all clad in gleaming silver Roman-style armor, complete with striking red capes. The sight of them drew squeals of admiration from the female players and NPCs alike. The group's confident deanor was beyond bearing, and every cheer from the crowd seed to make their posture radiating more with pride.
"Greetings!"
The strict deputy guild leader's booming voice silenced the cheers. He stepped forward onto the staircase, perfectly illuminated by a golden beam of sunlight.
"As you all know, our guild has removed Apollo from his position due to his nurous inappropriate actions, such as coercing other players to seize their assets and engaging in physical contact with male, especially those in the guild in suggestive ways... These actions were carried out without the consent of the victims, and we are ashad of his behavior. Therefore, we decided to remove him from his position as the Guild Master. After extensive deliberation and with the support of a benefactor who spearheaded this effort, we have chosen a new leader to guide the Caesar Guild!"
The deputy guild leader gestured toward a male player standing in the shadows behind him to step forward into the light and the gaze of hundreds of players and AIs.
"Greetings, everyone. I am Phiros, the new leader of the Caesar Guild!"
Phiros introduced himself with poise, following the dozen rounds of practice he had spent rehearsing with his best friend, Feather. Everything was flawless: his posture, the way he swept his gaze over the crowd as he introduced himself—everything except for the slight tremor in his voice and the clammy sweat covering his hands. Inwardly, he wondered why such a grandiose ceremony was necessary. Newly ford guilds never introduced their leaders with such pomp. But Phiros already knew the answer. The deputy guild leader had drilled it into him over and over again.
The Caesar Guild had to formally introduce its guild leader because it was a prominent guild with a mbership rivaling the size of the AI guards in the city. This status granted Caesar Guild exclusive privileges, including access to quest from the royal palace. Palace quest ca with imnse rewards and renown, and those directly assigned by royalty or the king offered even greater benefits, including rare and valuable items. Thus, Phiros's grooming and constant refinent of his image to appear dignified and credible beca a matter of great importance for the entire guild. Phiros only recently learned that other major guilds also held ceremonies to introduce their guild leaders..
After waving and smiling politely at the crowd, Phiros and his close friend, Feather, retreated into the guild hall. Inside was a grand banquet venue, elaborately decorated. Guild mbers and other players began to file in as music played softly in the background, and food was served on long tables. Phiros took his seat at an elevated table, positioned above all the others. Soon, a royal palace envoy arrived to convey their congratulations, followed by representatives from other guilds on Europa Island. These included potential ally guilds such as Pendragon and Immortal.
Phiros wished Chang Long could have joined the celebration. She was a significant influence in propelling him to this position. If he had not t her that day, he would likely still be a wandering swordsman exploring the world, with his level far from reaching seventy. Thinking back, he missed the freedom of that life. But being a guild leader did not an giving up on travel entirely. He could still venture out, especially for royal palace quest, which he had already experienced and found incredibly enjoyable.
Phiros celebrated with everyone present, relishing the acknowledgnt of his new role. If only he could have such an opportunity in real life. Despite all the good deeds he had done, his real-world boss never valued him and even placed him on extended leave. Luckily, he had found a new job that was far less stressful than being a police officer: working as a bodyguard for a young lady who was obsessed with gaming. Since she rarely left the house, Phiros had plenty of ti to play gas himself. His new employer had even told him he could do whatever he wanted as long as their beloved daughter stayed safely at ho. Phiros chuckled quietly to himself. Was this job going to turn him into a lazy person?
.....
After finishing her al, Chang Long sat down to plan her next move. The lower path was a single trail infested with parasitic bean beasts. The upper route led to a high mountain, with a narrow and treacherous path connecting to the pavilion where she had been resting. Though dangerous, it seed better than confronting the swarms of bean beasts below. However, Chang Long was not sure where the hazardous mountain path would lead or if it would eventually provide a way to descend.
"Hey, missy. There's an entrance back here,"
Devi-chan called out as he floated from the pavilion's far end. What had seed like an ordinary wooden wall, seamless and uniform, giving no hint of hidden doors or secret passages. Chang Long turned to Devi-chan, looking puzzled, before asking hesitantly.
"Back where? Behind those wooden panels?"
"Yes, but I don't know how to get in. All I know is that it's dark in there and full of broken weapons,"
Devi-chan replied solemnly. Chang Long nodded and stepped closer to examine the wooden panels with interest. Siegfried followed, equally curious. However, Chang Long still seed to be acting strangely, keeping her distance from him and avoiding eye contact. The clueless young man, unable to grasp the reason behind her behavior, assud she was still angry at him. This thought made him uncharacteristically quiet, reluctant to offer any opinions.
Chang Long glanced at him briefly before running her hand along the wooden panels to check for any hidden chanisms. The panels felt incredibly smooth, with no noticeable bumps or irregularities. When she tapped on them, a hollow sound echoed back, confirming that there was indeed a hidden space behind the panels, just as Devi-chan had said.
