"That's fine by . You two can just call Destiny—no need for the formalities. Or you can call Des, like Chang Long does,"

Destiny replied with a smile. The eting concluded successfully, and everyone returned to the banquet, where the celebration was in full swing. Phiros, Rafael, and Destiny joined in the drinking and dancing, mingling casually with the Caesar Guild mbers and other players attending the party. After the festivities, their next priority was clear: to find a special territory that the system would open for claim once the new patch was updated.

.....

Hisa-chan stared at the sword in his hand with excitent. The weapon he held was crafted by the legendary Divine Blacksmith, a mythical figure said to have unparalleled talent in forging all types of weapons. Weapons from the Divine Blacksmith varied in grade, but they mostly ranged from high-grade to divine-grade. Divine-grade weapons were rare and exceedingly hard to find among the thousands of weapons resting in the Tomb of Blades.

Devi-chan looked at Hisa-chan and the sword in his hand with awe. Its true form, now fully revealed, was quite remarkable. After wandering aimlessly for a while, Devi-chan began searching seriously for his ideal weapon. However, like Hisa-chan, every weapon he touched turned into a silver mist and scattered into nothingness.

"Hey, Devi-chan, why don't you try calling out to it? Maybe the weapon will respond to your voice,"

Hisa-chan suggested. That was exactly how his own sword, Ryuusei, had responded to him.

"Hmm… Alright then. Sword! The weapon that suits best, reveal your glow now!"

Devi-chan shouted at the top of his lungs, startling Hisa-chan so much that he nearly collapsed in disbelief.

"Are you crazy? Call it in your mind. Focus your thoughts and summon it internally, not shouting like that!"

Hisa-chan scolded, shaking his head in exasperation.

"Oh, well, you should've told that from the start,"

Devi-chan laughed heartily and began his search anew. This ti, he concentrated as Hisa-chan had advised. It took quite so ti, and Devi-chan was about to give up, convinced that the Tomb of Blades held no weapon suitable for him.

Suddenly, a radiant glow—brighter than the shimring weapons around them—caught everyone's attention. This light clearly indicated a weapon responding to Devi-chan's call. Unfortunately, the weapon was located outside the Spirit Realm skill's area, aning Devi-chan could not reach it.

"Hey, missy, move forward a bit, will you? I can't reach that thing—it's way up there on the wall."

Devi-chan called to Chang Long. She nodded and carefully stepped forward. With each movent, her mana reserves plumted sharply, especially when she moved too quickly or abruptly.

"Strange, isn't it? Look at my hand—when it's outside the skill's boundary, it turns translucent again,"

Devi-chan remarked to Hisa-chan, extending his hand beyond the Spirit Realm's range.

"Alright, missy, stop there. Watch now as I show you my ultimate technique!"

Devi-chan shouted to Chang Long when the domain of the Spirit Realm skill touched the towering stone wall, where Devi-chan's future sword was embedded. It was almost six ters off the ground and resembled a knight's claymore from afar.

"That's pretty high, Devi-chan. Do you have so kind of lightfoot technique?"

Chang Long asked with concern, noting how sheer the stone wall was, offering no footholds or grips.

"Hehehe, just watch,"

Devi-chan chuckled smugly. He gauged the exact position of the glowing weapon, stepped back a few paces, and sprinted at full speed toward the wall. Using a rock near the wall as a launch point, he propelled himself into the air. The silvery weapon embedded in the stone scattered into shimring light when Devi-chan's foot touched the rock below it, only to reform monts later.

Devi-chan grabbed for the weapon amidst the tense anticipation of everyone else, even Heaven who was his rival. At first grasp, Devi-chan nearly fail, his hands closed on empty air as the weapon had not fully solidified, leaving him flailing, grabbing the air madly. Finally, he managed to snag the weapon with the very tips of his fingers. Dangling precariously against the stone wall, he prompted a collective sigh of relief from Chang Long, Siegfried, Hisa-chan, and Alice-chang. Heaven, on the other hand, looked mildly disappointed.

"Are you planning to dangle there forever, Devi-chan? Get down already,"

Chang Long called out.

"I'm on it!" Devi-chan replied. Gripping the weapon firmly with both hands, he braced his feet against the wall. Once ensured the stability, he dislodged the weapon with strong pull. However, the weapon ca off far more easily than expected—its position had already been loosened by his dangling weight. The sudden release threw him off balance, sending him plumting headfirst toward the ground.

Devi-chan let out an involuntary scream as he fell. Chang Long and Alice-chang gasped in horror. They knew that within the range of Spirit Realm skill, spirits that died again could not be revived in any form.

Snatch.

"That's close, Devi-chan. Be more careful. You know how much Chang Long worries about you,"

Hisa-chan said as he dove forward and caught Devi-chan just in ti. Chang Long exhaled deeply in relief but could not help but stare in shock at the scene before her—Hisa-chan holding Devi-chan in his arms like a couple. However, Hisa-chan himself did not seem to notice just yet.

"Yeah, sorry for the trouble, Hisa-chan... Now put down already. This is making my skin crawl!"

Devi-chan grimaced. As he glanced around, he noticed the stunned stares directed at him and instinctively checked his own predicant. It seed Hisa-chan had also beco aware of the situation, as both their faces flushed bright red. In a sudden burst of embarrassnt, Hisa-chan let go of Devi-chan, causing him to tumble unceremoniously to the ground.

"Ow. That was a terrible way to drop , Hisa-chan!"

Devi-chan grumbled as he propped himself up.

"Sorry, I panicked. This is the first ti in my life I've carried a guy like a princess,"

Hisa-chan replied, laughing as he spoke. The two approached Chang Long together, with Devi-chan handing over the weapon he had just retrieved. The system announced Devi-chan's sword as Crossbone. The Crossbone Sword was entirely matte black, from its hilt to its blade. The cutting edge, however, glead with a silvery sheen. Engraved into the center of the blade on both sides were raised black letters reading, "LEAD TO DECEASE." Its guard was shaped like a skull with crossed bones beneath it, bearing a striking resemblance to Chang Long's Sovereign Sword.

.....

Several minutes passed, and the Fuuma Kotarou Beast King remained standing calmly, waiting. anwhile, Thankhun's group did not dare make a reckless move. Jane joined Hero after confirming there was no way to save NamTaoThongkam and TaoHuYee, who lay gravely injured. As for TaoKaowNian, who had been dragged away by the spider demon beasts, his na had turned completely black in the friend list. Now Thankhun's group was reduced to just him, Crown, Duncan, Hero, Jane, and TaoHuayNomSod. Fortunately, Thankhun still had Big, his level 105 White Cloud Lion Beast King, who might stand a chance against Fuuma Kotarou. However, the ninja seed utterly unfazed.

"Rahu Shadow Armor... you must be the heir apparent to Hayasa. If you cannot pass , then you are unworthy of succeeding a legendary ninja master like Hayasa,"

Fuuma Kotarou remarked with interest, his piercing gaze sweeping over Thankhun from head to toe. A sly smile crossed his skeletal face.

"Co now, or are you all too terrified to move?"

Everyone's eyebrows twitched with irritation at Fuuma Kotarou's taunting, veiled insult. The group scattered in an instant. Crown was the first to charge at Fuuma Kotarou, but his attack missed as the ninja master sidestepped with lightning speed. In the blink of an eye, the beast appeared behind Crown and swung his poison-coated blade. Crown spun just in ti to block the strike, but the force of Fuuma Kotarou's attack drove him to his knees. Duncan seized the opportunity, maneuvering behind Fuuma Kotarou with his long knife, resembling a short sword, and slashed downward at the ninja's back with all his might.

Both Duncan and Crown were startled when the body of the Fuuma Kotarou Beast King vanished in an instant. Duncan's long knife struck Crown, who had not yet recovered from the shock. The force sent Crown sprawling across the ground. Duncan rushed over, deeply concerned, while Fuuma Kotarou reappeared directly in front of Thankhun. Before the ninja master could strike, Big lashed out fiercely with his claws, forcing Fuuma Kotarou to retreat slightly. He dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding two bullets fired in quick succession by Hero and Jane. Focused on the attacks from Big, Hero, and Jane, Fuuma Kotarou montarily forgot about Thankhun.

Boom.

Thankhun clenched his fist and struck Fuuma Kotarou's body with all his strength. But nothing happened. The ninja beast did not even flinch as a smirk spread across his face, Thankhun's own turned pale. Normally, a barehanded attack would still inflict so damage. Why had his strike not registered at all? Quickly retreating, Thankhun glanced down at his hands. He was wearing a pair of crimson leather gloves, matching his outfit adorned with silver tal accents resembling bones across the knuckles and wrist. He rembered receiving them from a mystery box dropped by a beast during a mission. He had worn them without checking their properties or much thought. He did not think these gloves would nullify the damage of his barehanded attacks.

"Hmph, you're weaker than I expected,"

Fuuma Kotarou sneered, his tone dripping with disdain. He advanced toward Thankhun, aiming to end the fight with a single lethal strike. But just as he raised his blade, a sharp pain flared in the spot where Thankhun had landed his punch earlier. Big seized the opportunity, delivering a powerful swipe that forced Fuuma Kotarou to leap back to gain a footing.

The beast king's body sagged slightly as he gripped his stomach with one hand. His face betrayed clear pain for the first ti. Crown and Duncan, though surprised, did not hesitate to imdiately closed in on him, launching a coordinated attack. Their combined strikes pushed Fuuma Kotarou into a corner. While he managed to evade most of the blows, he still suffered several significant injuries.

"Shadow Split!"

Fuuma Kotarou roared. His body blurred into a dark, indistinct image that darted rapidly in all directions before another Fuuma Kotarou appeared outside the fray.

Aargh!

A scream of agony pierced the air as TaoHuayNomSod crumpled to the ground, struck in the chest by the poison-coated blade of one of Fuuma Kotarou's shadow clones. His bow shattered in two as blood pooled around him. The rest of the group, including Big, found themselves in dire straits. Even injured, Fuuma Kotarou was leagues above them, especially with his shadow clones in play. Thankhun felt increasingly lost. His barehanded attacks were ineffective, and he had no backup weapons left to fight with.

"Thankhun, catch this!"

Crown, who had been thrown aside, called out to Thankhun and tossed two long swords toward him. Thankhun glanced down at the blades now embedded in the ground before him, puzzled.

"Those are my old twin swords. I don't use them anymore, so you can have them!"

Without waiting for a response, Crown sprinted back to assist Duncan in attacking the real Fuuma Kotarou. anwhile, Jane and Hero alternated firing at Fuuma Kotarou's shadow clones, which were advancing toward them after dispatching TaoHuayNomSod. Big stood protectively beside Thankhun as he pulled Crown's twin swords from the ground.

"Lunar Shadow Form."

Thankhun decided to go all out. Activating his Lunar Shadow Form skill, he rushed to assist Duncan and Crown while directing Big to support Jane and Hero. Thankhun raised both swords high and slashed down with full force as soon as he entered striking range. Fuuma Kotarou deftly blocked the attack with his own blade and, with a swift kick, sent Duncan flying as the latter tried to close in from behind Thankhun. Crown then slashed an X-shaped strike at Fuuma Kotarou's back, but the ninja master sorsaulted high into the air, effortlessly dodging the attack.

"Lunar Shadow Form, huh? You've realized its weakness by now, haven't you? It could very well cost you your life!"

Fuuma Kotarou remarked, his gaze fixed on Thankhun's figure, which fluttered like a tattered cloth in the wind without a defined form. Fuuma Kotarou raised his poison-coated blade to ear level, the sharp edge pointing toward Thankhun. Without any warning, he launched himself at Thankhun with blinding speed, as though he was flying. Thankhun crossed both swords to block the incoming strike. The force of the first blow sent one of his swords flying from his grip. Fuuma Kotarou prepared for another strike and slashed down with trendous force, aiming directly at the center of Thankhun's head. Thankhun raised his remaining sword to block the attack, but the sheer power of the strike caused the blade to snap in half. Fuuma Kotarou's blade continued its descent toward Thankhun's head without losing montum.

Clang!

"Argh!"

The poison-coated blade flew out of Fuuma Kotarou's hand as he cried out in pain. He leapt several ters back, left hand tightly grasped the wrist of his sword-bearing hand. His face twisted in agony. Even his shadow clones displayed signs of the sa painy.
