"Dus, I'm sorry,"

Angie said with regret. She had not expected the Doom Fla Guild to take advantage of the chaos she had caused.

"Go. You all need to get out of here, and take Angie with you!"

Dus urged as the Doom Fla Guild's army drew closer.

"No, I won't leave. I'll fight with you,"

Angie clung to Dus's arm, refusing to let him face the inevitable death alone.

"The Doom Star Guild… huh,"

Chang Long stood still. Her expression hardened as she muttered under her breath. Her thoughts turned to their guild leader—a man who had left her with a bitter grudge. He was the one who had rcilessly killed Kitsune, and she had vowed to take his life with her own hands.

"What should we do?"

the male spear-wielding player asked Chang Long, looking uncertain about whether to help or flee as Dus had instructed.

"Don't get all dramatic on . Do you intend to fight all those people by yourself?"

Chang Long said with a sarcastic smirk. She suspected that her current predicant might have been caused by the lingering curse of bad luck from the Land of the Dead. If that were true, running away would not make a difference—fate would surely catch up with her anyway.

Now surrounded, Chang Long, Kitsune, Fluffy Head-chan, Hulu, the unknown spear-wielder, Dus, and Angie stood back-to-back, their faces tense with worry. Everyone seed on edge—except Chang Long, whose growing irritation threatened to boil over if the Doom Fla Guild said anything to rub her the wrong way. One mber of the Doom Fla Guild stepped forward, grinning mockingly as he sized up Dus.

"Only a few of you left, and you still think you can fight?"

"I'll never surrender to opportunistic scum like you,"

Dus retorted and stared back, his eyes filled with defiance and anger.

"By the way..."

The man turned his attention to Chang Long.

"You—weren't you the one who wiped out the Sunset Guild? Why are you standing with them now? How about joining my guild instead? The Doom Fla Guild needs skilled players like you to help us expand our domain and build greatness in this ga."

"No thanks. I prefer playing freely,"

Chang Long shot back without hesitation. The man hesitated montarily but pressed on.

"With your skill, you might think joining a small, new guild like ours isn't worth your ti. But what if I told you we're backed by the Doom Star Guild? The number one guild in the ga. Imagine how far we could go with their support."

He spoke with pride, clearly expecting Chang Long to be impressed—or at least intrigued. However, her reaction shocked him. Instead of excitent, her expression darkened.

"The Doom Star Guild, huh? You know, of all the guilds in this ga, that's the one I want to destroy the most."

Chang Long answered, locking eyes with the male player. He could feel the murderous intent emanating from her, an aura so intense that even her newfound allies, standing back-to-back with her, flinched and instinctively jumped away.

"Who are you? What grudge do you have against the Doom Star Guild!"

The sneer disappeared from the man's face, replaced by a tense, serious expression. The murderous aura from Chang Long was enough to convince him that she was undoubtedly a top-tier player. He instinctively stepped back several paces, adopting a defensive stance, prompting curious glances from the Doom Fla Guild mbers surrounding them.

"I have a grudge against Demos. But since he's part of the guild, I figured I'd just wipe out the entire thing,"

Chang Long replied. The unnad male player, Dus, and Angie stood slack-jawed, shocked at the audacity and sheer scale of her declaration.

"Big words. Let's see you survive this first before dreaming of taking on the number-one guild in the ga. Take them down!"

The man bellowed, signaling for the Doom Fla Guild mbers to attack the surrounded group.

Although Chang Long was only level 28, all her inherent skills had been upgraded to their second stage. Her agility and the impact of each strike left the enemies stunned. None dared to attack her one-on-one. Moreover, the two cosplay male players and the miniature lion, Fluffy Head-chan, provided steadfast support. Most Doom Fla Guild mbers redirected their attacks toward the naless spear-wielding player, whose na was later revealed to be Amata, as well as Dus and Angie. The more skilled players, however, grouped up to launch simultaneous attacks on Chang Long.

Each profession unleashed its most devastating skills, aiming to end the fight quickly. Chang Long barely had the chance to counterattack, focusing solely on defending against the relentless barrage of ferocious strikes from her foes. The sheer volu of attacks pinned her in place, unable to maneuver freely. Amid the turmoil, Chang Long's group was inadvertently scattered.

Shriek!

A scream of pain from Angie rang out first. She was struck by a skill from one of the Doom Fla Guild players and sent flying. Her body slamd into the wall of a nearby building with such force that she coughed up blood. Dus tried to break through the encirclent to help Angie, but he was already locked in combat with multiple skilled opponents. The closest to Angie was Amata, but he was barely holding his ground. Bloodied and battered, he had already lost his long spear and was left with only a short sword to defend himself.

Before long, Chang Long noticed that three mbers of her party had sustained serious injuries. Kitsune, who was at a similar level to her, was wounded and growling in anger. Hulu bore visible wounds as well and rushed to Kitsune's side to provide cover. Chang Long prepared to join the fray to help them, but her attackers kept her locked in a tight circle. Despite her agility, the confined space made it nearly impossible to move as she wished.

As Chang Long sought a way to help her injured pets, her eyes caught sight of Fluffy Head-chan the lion cub being violently kicked into a tree. The impact shattered wood into splinters, and the little lion wobbled as it stood up, glaring at the Doom Fla Guild player with defiance. There was no trace of surrender in its small, determined eyes, even though its puppet vessel was heavily damaged and barely holding together.

"Devi-chan, Spirit Possession!"

Chang Long called out, summoning Devi-chan to rge with her. She stared at Fluffy Head-chan, resolute in her determination not to lose it. The instant Devi-chan fused with her, an overwhelming killing intent radiated from Chang Long. The intense drew attention from everyone mid-battle, their weapons poised but unmoving as they turned in shock to its source. Though her attire might have seed strange, the oppressive danger emanating from her was unlike anything they had ever experienced. No one dared to move, let alone attack, in her presence.

Chang Long's icy gray eyes scanned her surroundings. Any player who t her murderous gaze was trembled with fear. She summoned her injured pets and allies, who limped toward her. Amata helped carry Angie, her bloodied form barely able to stand.

Fluffy Head-chan hobbled over to Chang Long, nuzzling her lovingly. She knelt to stroke his head tenderly before sealing him away and storing him in her bag.

"You guys sure brought a lot of talent..."

Chang Long remarked to the Doom Fla Guild players, her tone calm as she inspected her other two injured pets.

"Ark isn't exactly a big city, you know. Just your presence here nearly makes it overcrowded. Crowds are so suffocating and annoying, don't you think?"

She cast a sidelong glance at the man who had initiated the confrontation. He swallowed hard, struggling to et her gaze without showing fear.

"W... Well, if you know that, then good. If you surrender and disband your group, we'll leave peacefully,"

the man barked loudly, trying to mask his own trepidation.

"I never surrender, especially when I'm not in the wrong. Even if it costs my life, I'll never yield. And I can't stand people who refuse to acknowledge their own wrongdoings,"

Chang Long replied coldly. While the negotiation played out, mbers of the Doom Fla Guild and Chang Long's new companions consud crystals to restore their health and stamina.

"Hehehe, you're mistaken. "In a world where killing isn't a cri, strength is justice. The weak are the ones who are wrong,"

the man retorted with a sneer spreading across his face.

Chang Long's lips curled into a chilling smile.

"If the strong are the ones who are right, then get ready to repent. Because all of you are about to take a group tour of hell, courtesy of . Trust , it's lonely to go there alone."

Chang Long responded, her gaze sweeping over the surrounding Doom Fla Guild players. Their expressions ranged from stunned disbelief to laughter, half-believing, half-doubting her words. However, the man standing before her let out a loud laugh, his voice full of mockery.

"No matter how strong you are, there's no skill that can kill hundreds of players at once. You're out of ideas, aren't you? Spouting nonsense like this just to scare us."

"Sigh... I'm tired of explaining. Spread wings!"

With an exasperated sigh, Chang Long spread her wings. She soared into the air above her companions and pets. Gasps of astonishnt echoed as wings erged from her back, untethered to any equipnt.

Her Reaper King outfit, combined with the fused wings, her cold expression, and the unrelenting killing intent emanating from her body, froze everyone in fear. Chang Long glanced downward at her new allies and pets, who stared up at her in awe. She reminded them of one critical thing.

"If you don't want to die, don't step out of the radius of my wings."

"You! Who the hell are you? Among all the top players everyone knows, none of them look anything like you,"

The Doom Fla Guild's male player shouted, panic creeping into his voice. His fear was so palpable it infected his guildmates, who started to lose their nerve.

"? I'm the Reaper King. Infernal Reaper Judgent!"

As Chang Long called upon her skill, the city's alarm system blared loudly. Panic erupted as everyone searched for the cause of the chaos that triggered the ergency alert. But no matter where they looked, the city seed empty. Most uninvolved players, sensing danger, rushed to leave the city. NPCs and AI residents had already begun fleeing when they saw the Doom Fla Guild arrive in force.

"Hehehehe, bluff all you want. You're just all talk. Stop posing up there and co down to die already!"

The man mocked her, drawing laughter from his guildmates. Their initial fear faded. They dismissed Chang Long's actions as a ploy to buy ti for her companions to recover.

As the group laughed and jeered, their fear dissipating, a strange sound echoed from above—a whoosh, followed by streaks of black fireballs raining from the sky. One, two, then hundreds, thousands. All of them hurtled toward a single target: Ark City. Chang Long smirked coldly, her gaze fixed on the mouthy player whose face was now pale with sweat beading on his forehead. The rain of black fireballs struck the ground with deafening explosions, setting off a chain reaction of black flas that consud everything in their path. The city's alarm wailed on as Ark City beca engulfed in blaze. The Doom Fla Guild players were paralyzed with terror as they realized there was no escape.

"Aaargh!"

Agonized screams echoed throughout the city, chilling the hearts of those who heard them. Players and AI outside the city thanked their luck for leaving in ti, narrowly avoiding the deadly black flas that incinerated everything they touched.

.....

At the royal park, several kiloters away from King Duck's palace, King Duck, Queen Anna, Siegfried, and a group of close courtiers were leisurely strolling through a lush garden. They had stepped out to pass the ti while waiting for Chang Long to contact them. Their relaxed conversation was suddenly interrupted by the blaring of the city's ergency alarms. They turned towards the direction of the noise, only to see Ark City engulfed in black flas.

"L... Love, is that our city?"

Queen Anna asked in a voice trembling with shock.

"I... I think so. Just look—the golden do that's burning right now—that's definitely our palace,"

King Duck replied weakly, his voice almost inaudible.

"What's going on? Why is the city in such chaos? Could it be another beast invasion?"

Siegfried speculated, his face tense with concern.

"But there are no beasts in sight. And even if it is, what kind of beast could produce black flas like that?"

King Duck added calmly. However, when he caught sight of his palace crumbling to the ground, he completely lost his composure.

"Aaargh. This isn't the ti to analyze the cause. My city is burning to ashes. I should mobilize the troops and put out the fire first!!"

King Duck roared at the top of his lungs, snapping everyone out of their stunned state. The courtiers and royal guards quickly sprang into action, rushing to organize efforts to extinguish the fire.

"I wonder what's going to be left of the city once the flas are finally out,"

Siegfried muttered, his eyes fixed on the city being consud by the fierce black fire.

"Shut up. Why are you just standing there? Go help everyone else put out the fire!"

King Duck yelled at the young man ready to join the effort with a water bucket in hand.

"Y... Yes, sir, but why don't you hand the bucket instead? A king bailing water himself doesn't exactly do wonders for his image, you know."

Siegfried replied with a smirk as he looked at the king, clad in his full royal regalia—completed with cloak and crown —standing there clutching a bucket of water.
