"Since Chang Long hasn't logged in yet, I should go find a good place to train. By the ti we et, she'll be so stunned by how skilled and cool I've beco that she won't be able to reject my confession."

Aswa said to himself cheerfully as he strolled along, completely at ease. Feeling better after resolving his thoughts about Chang Long, Aswa continued his leisurely walk. But just then, he accidentally bumped into another player. They both went tumbling to the ground, rolling several tis.

"Oof. What the heck just happened?"

Aswa muttered, propping himself up off the ground.

"Get off !"

The sharp, commanding voice of a woman startled him. Aswa glanced around, confused, but saw no one who could have spoken. Shaking his head to clear his confusion, he figured it had to have been a nearby player. But the voice had seed awfully close—almost too close.

"Hey, are you deaf? Get off already. How long are you planning to lie on top of !"

This ti, Aswa heard the voice loud and clear, just inches away from him. And it sounded very, very angry.

Realizing he had not checked beneath him, Aswa shifted his gaze downward. Sure enough, under him was a stunningly beautiful woman, glaring at him with fierce, fiery eyes. Her flawless face was twisted in fury, and for a mont, Aswa was completely srized. He stared at her, dumbfounded. Unable to bear it any longer, the woman shoved him off with all her strength, sending him sprawling onto his back in a heap. She quickly stood up and began dusting off her clothes, checking herself over to ensure nothing was damaged.

"How dare you lie on top of like that? Do you have a death wish?"

she snapped, her voice icy and commanding. She shot him a disdainful glare out of the corner of her eye, while nearby players began gathering to watch the commotion.

"Sorry about that. I didn't an to fall on you. But wasn't it you who didn't look where you were going and crashed into , making us both fall?"

Aswa said, getting to his feet and brushing the dust off his clothes. The woman, despite her beauty, carried herself with an air of absolute arrogance that made Aswa feel less inclined to be friendly.

"Watch it. Are you saying I clumsily bumped into you!"

she screeched, her voice sharp with indignation at his accusation.

Normally, male players would agree to her every word, imdiately apologize and grovel in situations like this, tripping over their words in an effort to placate her. They would even offer to treat her to a al as a way to make ands, which often turned into a chance to ask her out. She clenched her teeth in embarrassnt, silently questioning who this man was to act so arrogantly in front of the number one beauty of the ga.

"I need to go. Let's just say I'm sorry for bumping into you and ending up on top of you."

Aswa said, preparing to leave. But there was no way the number one beauty, humiliated in front of a growing crowd of curious players who were now dissecting the aning of ending up on top of her, would let him walk away so easily. Not until this man—this insolent man—humbled himself before her.

"Wait!"

The woman called out loudly, grabbing Aswa's shoulder to stop him and make him turn to face her.

The mont their eyes t, the hardened look in Aswa's gaze softened and turned dreamy, as if he had fallen into a trance. His brows furrowed slightly as he stared at the woman's face in front of him. A small smile crept onto his lips, and he slowly reached out to touch her cheek. But the woman quickly stepped back, moving out of his reach.

"I'm so sorry. You must be really angry with . Just tell what I need to do to make it up to you. As long as you promise to let be the only one in your heart, that's all I ask,"

Aswa said in a gentle voice, a stark contrast to his earlier harsh tone. In just a few seconds, it was as if the man had transford completely. The players gathered around to watch were left dumbfounded, their mouths agape at Aswa's sudden change in deanor, words, and expression.

"So, you'll do anything I ask, won't you?"

the woman asked, her lips curling into a pleased smile. This was exactly what she wanted. No man—whether a player or an AI—should dare defy her. Every single one of them should bow to her feet and do everything they could to make her happy.

"Of course. I'll do anything, as long as the beautiful woman who's stolen my heart forgives and treats kindly in return,"

Aswa said, his tone filled with longing, as though he were hopelessly lost in love.

"Judging by your attire, you must be quite skilled. In that case, can you show one of your most impressive abilities?"

the woman said, pretending to think before laying out her condition. Aswa grinned, thrilled that he could make her forgive him by simply demonstrating one of his abilities.

"If I show you one of my best abilities, will you forgive ?"

he asked for confirmation.

"If it's truly impressive, yes. But if not, don't expect to forgive you,"

she replied with a mocking smile. Narada did not expect anything truly extraordinary. While she could tell that Aswa was skilled, she dismissed him as soone who had only recently reached this level of expertise. If he were truly a seasoned player, he would not have fallen so easily under her Grand Enchantnt spell—granted, she had used it without warning.

"Of course. If you want to see sothing amazing, I'll gladly show you,"

Aswa said confidently, flashing a wide grin. In an instant, he moved close to Narada, so quickly that she could not react in ti. He pulled her into a tight embrace, holding her close against his body. Both Narada and the gathered players gasped in shock. Narada yelled in protest, struggling to free herself. But Aswa only smiled gently at her, his grip unyielding.

"Ready to see sothing truly amazing?"

Narada opened and closed her mouth without a word, but before she could say anything, Aswa leapt into the air, using a high-level Qinggong technique. Their bodies shot upward like a rocket, soaring into the sky. The only sound that echoed through the crowd below was Narada's piercing scream of terror.

High above the ground, the players below craned their necks, watching the pair ascend into the sky. To them, it looked like a romantic scene—a couple sharing a breathtaking aerial view of Europa Island. Narada's frantic screams only made them think she was overwheld with excitent at being pampered by her lover. Over twenty ters above the ground, Narada glared at Aswa, who was laughing heartily. His carefree deanor made it clear he was not under the effects of her Grand Enchantnt spell at all.

"What are you doing? I told you to show your most impressive ability, not to carry high up into the sky like this!"

Narada scread at the top of her lungs as Aswa grinned mischievously and turned to her with a sly look.

"Well, this is my ultimate skill. Don't you like it? I even went out of my way to show it to you up close."

"I don't like it. Put down this instant,"

she yelled.

"As you wish."

With that, he let go of Narada. Her jaw dropped, and her face turned pale as her body began plumting toward the ground. When she looked back up, Aswa appeared to be floating effortlessly in the air like a cloud, smiling smugly as he waved goodbye to the descending figure.

"You... idiot. Who told you to let go like that? At this height, I'll die!"

Narada shouted in sheer panic as she fell from over 20 ters above the ground. Without any skills to save herself from a certain death.

"Did I go too far?"

Aswa started to feel a twinge of guilt.

"Too far! That woman is one of the heirs of the Pirate Kings—the most cunning pretender of them all, Shadin Crepin."

The spirit of Roche Roger, the legendary Pirate King appeared and spoke to Aswa.

"Impressive. Do you have such skills? I've never soared this high in the sky myself."

"..."

Aswa froze in midair, stunned. He had not seen Roger since leaving the Pirate King's hidden tomb. He had thought the man's spirit had moved on after passing down his legacy.

"Why do you look like you've seen a ghost? It's , Roche Roger, the greatest Pirate King the world has ever known,"

Roger laughed heartily, oblivious to how strange his reappearance was.

"How... how are you here?"

Aswa asked in a hushed voice.

"I've been following you all along. I just didn't show myself. By the way, that woman doesn't seem like she's going to make it. She's about to hit the ground and hasn't done a thing to save herself. Guess she'll et her end soon enough. Well, that's one way to thin out the competition before the battle of the seven heirs. It's also a fitting punishnt for daring to use the Grand Enchantnt Spell—the most dangerous enchantnt of obsession—on you."

Roger said nonchalantly. During his lifeti, he had never been concerned about the ans to achieve victory. As long as obstacles were removed, any thod was acceptable to him.

Snapping out of his stupor, Aswa imdiately dove after Narada, determined to catch her before she hit the ground. Roger muttered in frustration, clearly disapproving. Though Aswa disliked Narada's behavior and attitude, he was not moralless enough to let her die because of him. His original intention was only to scare her a little by letting her fall only a few ters. But Roger's sudden appearance had distracted him, and now he was on the verge of being rembered as the man who killed the number one beauty by letting her fall to her death.

"Tch, If I'm going to kill sothing, it should at least be a powerful beast. And it should definitely be in front of Chang Long!"

Aswa grumbled as he sped downward to catch up with Narada.

Finally, he managed to grab her at the last ten ters. But the speed of their descent was too fast, and Aswa had no idea which skill he could use to stop their rapid fall. While Aswa struggled to think, Narada continued screaming in terror, her cries only adding to his distraction.

"Ugh! Can you be quiet for a mont? I'm trying to think."

Aswa scolded Narada, who was so terrified she was on the verge of losing her composure as the number one beauty.

"But I'm scared. You're supposed to be a master. Use so skill to get us out of this ss. We're about to crash to the ground and die horribly,"

Narada wailed. Aswa rolled his eyes, exasperated, but an idea suddenly struck him. He rembered a skill he learned after spending a great deal of effort finding the rare NPC. Though it might not fully save them due to the height and the speed of their fall, it should at least slow their descent enough to keep them alive—though they would probably still end up seriously injured.

"Cloudstep!"

Aswa activated the skill swiftly. Monts later, a massive cloud materialized a few ters below them. The cloud was so large that the players on the ground, who had been watching with curiosity, could no longer see the two falling figures.

Poof!

A sound echoed as if the two landed on a soft cushion. However, they imdiately sank through the cloud. To Aswa's surprise, the inside of the cloud was filled with a trendous amount of water, it was as if they had fallen into a lake. Though the water slowed their fall sowhat and cushioned their impact, it was not enough to stop their descent completely. Both of them flailed in the watery cloud, desperately trying to keep themselves afloat. But given the speed of their fall, their efforts only delayed the inevitable. Soon, their bodies broke through the bottom of the cloud and plumted toward the ground.

There was no screaming this ti—perhaps because both of them were too busy choking on the water from the cloud. Their bodies hit the ground and tumbled in opposite directions, disappearing into the tall grass.

The players below stared in stunned. The enormous cloud, now punctured where Aswa and Narada had fallen through, began releasing the water it had been holding. It looked like a waterfall cascading from the cloud.

.....

Ti crawled by in tense anticipation. Pichaya was on his way to the First Agricultural Zone, carrying the docunts needed to return everything that once belonged to Thankhun. His car sped toward Sai Natee Farm as if it were flying, driven by a father's desperation to see his beloved daughter, his life and soul, again. It took only a few hours for Pichaya to reach the farm's entrance.

The sight of Sai Natee Farm had not changed much from over a decade ago, bringing back mories of the tis he had visited when Thankhun's father was still alive. So much ti had passed that Pichaya had nearly forgotten those days. He let out a deep, weary sigh, unable to do anything else. If Thankhun were to demand his life in exchange, Pichaya would give it willingly, without hesitation, if it ant getting Chang back.

Id stayed close to Chang, refusing to leave her side during the tense wait. anwhile, Thankhun's agitation seed to grow with every passing mont. He left the living room several tis, only to return with a look that suggested he was wrestling with heavy thoughts. Chang could not guess what Thankhun was thinking or deciding, but she knew one thing for certain: her father was on his way, ready to trade everything Thankhun wanted for her and Id's safety.

To avoid focusing on Thankhun—the man who had betrayed her trust—Chang spent most of her ti chatting with Id and playing board gas that Thankhun's subordinates had brought in to pass the ti. These distractions helped lift Chang's spirits. Id, as always, managed to brighten her mood, replacing her tension with a smile.
