"This doesn't even include what we might get from the egg. I can hardly wait for it to accept ,"
Wet Trash Can said, looking at the egg with a tallic shell and a spiral pattern in his hands excitedly.
"We might have to put in so effort because I heard that what hatches from the eggs, we got might not necessarily be a creature,"
Aden said, laughing at Wet Trash Can, who was flexing his muscles to show off to his egg.
"Does that an the egg might hatch into outfits, weapons, armor, or even accessories?"
Peach Blossom asked excitedly.
"I think that's possible, but who knows what else it could hatch into,"
Aden replied. Everyone hoped for sothing divine and useful, except for Chang Long, who felt indifferent since she was the only one at a loss in this mission.
'If the egg hatches into a divine outfit, so what? I can't wear any other outfit besides this God of Death outfit. And if it hatches into a divine weapon, well, I can't use it either because the Sovereign Sword won't allow to use any other weapon. If it hatches into another pet, that's okay, I guess. It might be interesting if it hatches into an accessory, but what are the odds?'
Chang Long lanted to herself, feeling troubled. No matter what hatches from the egg, she felt it would not excite her much since the chances of it being sothing she could not use were as high as the chances of it being sothing she could.

Inside the Nine Moon Restaurant, all the players who were eating turned to look at the group of 8 newcors in surprise because each newcor was holding an egg, and they seed to be taking exceptional care of these eggs. What made the other players even more curious was that 7 people of the group holding eggs belonged to the Pendragon Guild. Only one person did not have any guild symbol decorated on their clothing.
"Let's sit in the VIP room. People are staring at so much that I'm getting embarrassed,"
Rafael suggested, noticing the other players inside the restaurant were all looking towards their group.
"That's a good idea, so no one will overhear what we're discussing,"
agreed Oliang, along with the others who nodded in agreent. Poor Kitsune was strictly prohibited from entering, so Chang Long had to seal him into the ring.
Once everyone was seated, food was served until the table was full. Chang Long brought out Davy-chan's spirit tablet to offer food as usual, amidst the eyes of friends who seed to have gotten used to it.
"Chang Long, do you only have Davy-chan?"
Oliang asked with interest.
"Mm,"
Chang Long replied briefly and began to eat.
"Davy-chan alone ate this much, what if you had other spirits, wouldn't you go broke feeding them?"
Oliang observed, and everyone agreed. Chang Long, who never had to worry about food thanks to the Cone of Abundance given by Goddess Veritas, allowing her to have food without relying on canned food, wondered what she would do without it. Perhaps she would have to skip als to feed the spirits.

Aden smiled, looking at Chang Long with interest. Since the accident on the last night in Eldar City, Siegfried has been hesitant to talk to Chang Long, and Chang Long also seed uncomfortable whenever he was around.
"So, are we here to discuss the eggs, or are you planning to interrogate ?"

Draco, Oliang, and Rafael mocked Wet Trash Can as they placed their own eggs on the table.
"I think they look a bit dull,"
Oliang mused, stroking his chin.
"How can you tell they look dull? I don't notice anything."
Wet Trash Can turned to his friend with curiosity.
"Well, look, I think the glow around the eggs has faded a bit. Didn't you notice?"
Oliang pointed at his egg which was pristine white with golden speckles all over. Everyone then noticed that the glow of their eggs had indeed dimd.
"But it could be because we left the Fairy Forest. We can't conclude that the dimming glow is because the eggs are feeling dull or sad,"
Rafael rolled his eyes.
"Exactly, but we still need to do sothing. The fading light could be the signal that they haven't accepted us yet,"
Peach Blossom voiced her concern.
"I think so too,"
Aden agreed with Peach Blossom.
"Seriously, doesn't matter what we think, I believe we need to make our eggs cheerful, joyful, and happy for them to accept us,"
Olaing stated firmly.
"To make the eggs..."

"Cheerful..."
Draco,
"Joyful..."
Wet Trash Can,
"And happy..."

Four guys repeated Oliang's words thoughtfully, showing signs of agreent. Peach Blossom watched them with interest, while Chang Long and Siegfried focused on their food without saying anything.

Wet Trash Can, who loves to display his strength and show off his muscles, agreed, unable to think of a better idea.

Aden nodded in agreent, and Rafael also nodded.

Furthermore, they were seen talking to these eggs, taking them on tours, and even buying toys for them (from pet stores), causing astonishnt among other players in the starting town. Everyone was speculating about why they were doing this, to the point where the town's newspaper ran headlines about this strange phenonon almost daily, such as:
"Oh no! Have the high-ranking mbers of the Pendragon Guild gone mad, carrying mysterious eggs throughout the starting town?!"

"What's up with the formidable Siegfried! What exactly is the mysterious egg in his arms?!!"

Many players were making assumptions as per why the Pendragon Guild's high-ranking mbers were so protective of these strange eggs. In the ga's public communication channel, players speculated various theories, including that it might be a "secret quest" of so sort, making many players started searching for the NPC who gave this secret quest. Another theory was that the eggs were pets requiring special care to hatch, among many other speculations.
"Look at the public community channels, Sieg! They're all talking about us carrying eggs everywhere,"
Peach Blossom complained to her brother.
"There's no need to shout. It's not strange for them to discuss it; even the newspapers haven't stopped covering this story,"
Rafael comnted, unfazed.
"Hey, sothing weird is happening outside! Co take a look!"
Oliang, carrying an egg he had placed inside a stuffed-panda, ran in to alert his friends who were relaxing inside the guild's headquarters. Everyone hurried out to see what was happening.
"Hey! Why is everyone carrying eggs around?"
Draco exclaid in surprise upon seeing nearly every player in town carrying eggs. So had painted patterns on their eggshells to copy Chang Long's group's eggs. However, the patterns could not move. Others wrapped their eggs in beautiful cloth as if they were babies, imitating Peach Blossom. This was particularly popular among female players who enjoyed dressing up their eggs.
"Look, there's even a store selling painted pet eggs,"
Chang Long pointed out a player's store that had various painted eggs for sale and offered custom painting services for custors.
"What in the world is this!?"
Wet Trash Can looked at the store in astonishnt.
Peach Blossom ran to ask a passing female player, learning that carrying around painted pet eggs had beco a fashionable trend across all islands in the ga. This left Chang Long's group speechless, unable to utter a single word in response to the unexpected trend.
