With the party safely secured back in their temporary abode they had ti to relax and recuperate from the intense battle and fighting retreat.
Violet soon enough transford into her humanoid form, and after seeing Luna widened eyes quickly donned the first outfit that she found in her storage item. Getting an approving nod from her companion, Violet then went about building the fire and preparing to make a hearty al for everyone.
Not having the effort to do anything too fancy she simply prepared so slabs of at, lightly seasoned them and then set them up to roast over the fire. Only occasionally turning them to ensure they didn’t burn.
In the anti she also produced her assortnt of furs and other comfey items, which were promptly claid by everyone.
The two beastkin also took this chance to change out of their wet clothing and into sothing a touch more comfortable.
Soon enough the food was ready and everyone tucked in to eat. It was a quiet dinner, everyone equally tired as they worked through the al.
Eventually though when the food had been consud Violet spoke up. "So any preference on what we should do next? Do we continue to clear out the monsters, or should we move on now that we have gotten rid of that tree. I don’t think any more of them should be showing up any ti soon, so the local beasts should be able to deal with them from now on."
It was Rhyana that spoke up first. "Well, we need to head east anyway right?" She paused after getting nods from everyone. "So since the thicket is to our east, we may aswell work our way through it, clearing out any monster that we co across whilst doing so. That way we can gain so more experience and also help to clear out more of the monsters, and we will be able to find out if any more monsters are being spawned."
"That sounds reasonable to , both and Violet are getting pretty close to hitting level 80. I would like to be able to do that before we leave this region, I have a feeling we will need the strength if we want to do anything more than just run away from everything."
Violet agreed with that so humd in acknowledgent. "That works for , so rest up today and head out first thing tomorrow."
With their course of action agreed upon the group settled down for an early evening, the distant sound of rain falling lulling them into an early sleep.

Deep into the region of the Endless Forest known as the Erald Lakes, the largest of these rivers lay. It spanned a vast distance from shore to shore, nearly reaching a kilotre at its widest point. This river originated from the mountains to the east and flowed in a south westerly direction from there.
Part way down this river its flow was disrupted when it flowed into a wide valley, or what used to be a valley. For now this valley had long since been subrged, forming one of the largest lakes in the entire region.
For a long ti this lake has known no change, its waters set at a perpetual height, no season or disaster has effected its waters. Yet ever since the Titans fall and the start of the rain, change has begun to occur.
For the first ti in a long ti its waters stir, the mighty river that has long fed the mighty lake now strains at its banks. The continual influx of water testing the environnts ability to handle such an influx.
The beasts that call this lake ho move with an excited unease. For the prospect of new water provides them with the opportunity to expand and grow. Yet perhaps because of this fact they are restless, for below them all at the bottom of the vast surface the true sovereign of this region stirs.
Long this sovereign has slept, unwilling or unable to leave its nest in the darkest depths of the lake. Yet with the change that is happening in the world it is unable to remain idle anymore.
Other great beasts are making movents too, with the change brought about by the endless rain the chance for claiming new territory for themselves awakens a desire that they had long since thought extinguished. The long dormant beasts that lay claim to the waters of the region are once more able to leave their accursed prisons.
For this region has long been denied its rightful rain. Claid by the dreaded Titan and its mindless master, the lords of this domain have been locked away, forced to remain dormant and hidden beneath the surface.
But now the long awaited rain has returned, the Titan is dead, and their prisons are soon to be broken.
The lords withheld conflicts are soon to be reawakened, the rulers of the waters calling forth their subjects. Each lord has held claim to its domain for a long ti, the lakes that they call ho long since becoming constricting.
As the beasts begin their migrations towards their lords, other long dormant beings begin the stir.
Deep underground caverns and tunnels are abundant, a thriving ecosystem once dominated the darkness. Yet that was in the past. The denizens of this dark domain have long been slain by the monster that now claims dominion over it. Its spawn enact its will, playing at a facsimile of life in their own twisted way.
Yet in the heart of this beings domain it lays dormant, its unfathomable form staying still in long forged boredom. Yet as ti passes and world shaking announcents are made, the being stirs for the first ti in hundreds of years.
Yet it does not yet awaken just yet. For what is the point in awakening when their is still nothing for it to do.
No it is only when sothing changes in thin its domain does it bother to truly awaken.
In the vast cavern that it has claid as its nest, water begin to trickle down from the ceiling above. At first it is only a singular drop, its fall echoing out in the silent chamber. It is soon joined by a second, then a third.
Until soon a small stream of water is pouring down from the cracked roof.
This, this is what finally awakens this long forgotten horror. Sothing new, sothing that promises change, sothing that promises the opportunity to lay claim to sothing new.
The monsters of the dark caverns bellow their exuberance, rushing forth to answer the call of their lord.
