Violet stood still, her powerful mind processing the events that just transpired. Clearly she had been used, in what way exactly she couldn’t quite grasp. Yet it seed that she had been set up as the impetus for so form of cleansing of the Wild Order.

Whilst Violet did have positive feelings about Ivy, she was unable to maintain that when faced with the reality that she had just been used as a prop for her own goals, regardless of how benevolent they may be.

She naturally shared her thoughts with Luna through their bond, the two of them sharing their thoughts and trying to figure out what exactly is happening. Additionally they tried to decide what exactly they should do from now on.

They strongly wanted to just leave this entire ss behind, they had no intentions of becoming entangled with whatever ss this situation was. The only reason they entered this city was because soone they thought of as a friend invited them here. Yet they were instantly thrown to the proverbial wolves by her.

It left a bitter taste in their mouths. So the two now just wanted to leave, move on and forget about this whole debacle, maybe go and visit so more of the food stalls as they made for the exit of this city and continue on their journey East.

But before they could fully co up with a plan Ivy once more turned around to face the 4 won. She was t with suspicious gazes, devoid of any of the previous friendship that she had sensed directed at her.

Ivy grimaced internally at this, understanding that she had made a mistake by involving Violet and her friends in such issues so soon. Yet she failed to realise that it was the simple fact they she had tricked them into the situation that had lost their trust. If she had actually inford them about her plans, then asked for their help they may have actually been willing to assist her.

Saddly that did not happen, so instead Ivy had lost the trust of the last Wild Dragon, and once lost trust is a hard thing to regain.

"I am sorry for involving you in this Violet, Luna. I should not have allowed this to have effected you so early, I regret the way that you have been welcod by our order. Is their any way that I can make it up to you?" Ivy asked, sounding quite sincere.

Violet’s emotions however, did not flicker she no longer trusted this powerful dryad, so she made her opinion known. "Yes there is sothing, you can have this back." Saying so she summoned the token of the Wild Order and tossed it towards Ivy.

"As for anything else, the answer is no, I don’t think we want to be involved with your order. We were manipulated into coming here, insulted and looked down upon when we arrived, then used in a plot that we don’t understand or had any intention of being involved in." Her ntal voice was steady, yet devoid of any warmth.

Then Violet looked at her companion and friends, knowing Luna’s opinion she focused on Rhyana and Susan, seeing their nod of trust and acceptance of her words she continued. "We wil be leaving now. It is getting late and we need to find sowhere to sleep for the night."

Ivy faltered at her words, knowing that she truly had ssed up. Her words were damning, yet Ivy was unable to must a response to defend herself. She truly had manipulated the young dragon, viewing her as an excellent opportunity to clean up the Wild Order. Yet she never considered what kind of impact that would have on Violet and her friends.

She never considered that Violet would want to sever all ties with the Order as a result of her actions.

And what a pitiful mistake that was, to have been the one that was the impetus for cleaning up the Wild Order to allow them to refocus on their long ti mission of battling corruption that they copied from the Wild Dragons of old. Only for that very action to drive away the only Wild Dragon alive.

Without waiting for anyone else to say anything Violet turned around, a purple light covering her body briefly before she returned to her humanoid form. This was quickly copied by Luna and Rhyana, all three beast returning to a size better suited to walking through a city. Approaching the grand double doors of the chamber Violet pushed it open and walked outside.

Bazen, who was stood outside of the chamber turned when he heard the door open, a hopefully smile on his face when he saw Violet and her friends exit. Yet that smile froze when he took note of the scene inside of the room. A dejected looking Ivy was floating in the air, over a dozen corpses of the various elders lay slumped in their seat, then the few remaining elders looking to be in a fairly sour mood.

That coupled with the icy glare of Violet and her friends halted Bazen from voicing any of his thoughts. Instead he stood their frozen, one hand half raised in greeting as the four won walked past him without saying a word.

They swiftly headed for the exit, making no stops and not speaking, they all had a lot of thoughts on their minds about what exactly went down in that chamber and could all do with so ti to process. So it wasn’t long before they were out of the building and making their way along the pathway that would lead them out of the Orders compound and back into the city propper.

**

Back inside the chamber, Bazen rushed into the room once Violet and her friends had left, he looked around once more a compicated look on his face as he tried to understand what went wrong. "What happened? Where did the dragon and her friends go?" He asked.

Ivy let out a long held sigh, her shoulders sagging in defeat. "I ssed up, I involved her in sothing that she didn’t want to be involved in, I broke what little trust they had in and pushed away the only Wild Dragon alive."

Bazen sucked in a breath at that, understanding that to break a dragons trust is not sothing that should be taken lightly. Once that trust is broken, it is quite the monuntal task to regain. Whilst the saying is true for most every person, it is taken to an extre with dragons. To break a dragons trust is tantamount to accepting that they will never again trust you.

Seeing as Ivy was their most direct link with the Wild Order, it would also be fair to assu that it ant that Violet no longer trusted the entire Order.

"Well, that’s not ideal. Are we just going to let her go?" Bazen asked.

"For now yes." Ca the voice of the other Sovereign present. He had remained silent since his brief exchange with Ivy, taking in everything that was happening. He also had an understanding of dragons, having researched them extensively during his long years as an elder.

"If we rush any interaction with her now it will only push her and her friends further away from us. If we want to involve her with anything in the future, we need to let them go and allow ti to fill the impact of this day." His gaze swept the room, locking eyes with ever other mber present.

"If we do make contact again, it should be with a junior, soone close to her level of strength and age preferably. Out in the Wilds, maybe arrange a chance eting when a spot of corruption appears near her. But that is as far as we should go until more ti has passed."

"Besides, we have plenty of work to do right now anyway. We did just look the majority of our elders after all. There is plenty of work that needs doing internally."
