Affinity: Chaos Chapter 1499 Abandon It

The duo stayed at the tavern for two more days. Klaus said he was waiting for the auction that is going to be held in a few days. There's sothing he wanted to get for his girlfriend.

Grey was surprised Klaus was still in the relationship, but given how much effort Klaus had actually put in, he knew Klaus genuinely likes her.

He didn't think too much about it, but Klaus started bugging him about having a girlfriend.

He has known Grey for a long ti and Grey has never been with anyone. It was a strange concept. Yes, he liked the fact that Grey was so focused on his cultivation, he still found it weird.

"It isn't ti yet." Grey replied with a straight face.

"You're wasting your face. Give it to Rey if you have no use for it." Klaus looked at him in disdain.

"Hey, why don't we go visit Kyle on our way to et your girlfriend?" Grey changed the topic.

"Sure, I haven't seen him since we went on that expedition." Klaus nodded, he had no issues with going in search of Kyle.

At the mont, the chance of them having a far higher cultivation stage than Kyle was high. But given the pressure most of the geniuses from top Factions and Families are, he might not be far from the Sovereign Plane.

The duo stayed in the tavern and when the auction started, the item Klaus wanted was a pendant. It was made from a top Magical Beast's core and could help improve the cultivation speed of an individual. Of course, it had its limits. For people like Klaus and Grey, it was pretty much useless, but for soone still in the Venerable Plane, it was useful.

Klaus' girlfriend wasn't from a top Family and could only be regarded as a mid level Family. The current Klaus could shake the foundation of the Family, this shows just how much he has grown. When he went there the first ti, he was only in the Sage Plane. During the next visit, they were Venerables and could go toe to toe with his supposed father-in-law. This was the Family Head of the Family, and he isn't even as strong as the young man who loves his daughter.

Klaus had been seeing his girlfriend occasionally, when she's not in the Family manor. Although it was occasionally, he usually sneaks out of the Faction with the help of an Elder who has a soft spot for him. Apparently, it was the sa Elder that escorted him there the last ti. Seeing how much both Klaus and his girlfriend loved each other, she promised to occasionally help him co see her.

The item is sothing Klaus' girlfriend's Family could not afford, but for soone of Klaus' status, it wasn't hard to pay. Besides, he had Grey by his side. The son of Lucas Dawson, the golden genius of this generation, of course he was loaded with essence stones!

And indeed, Grey is always loaded with these stones. He was an arraymaster and needed them to create arrays whenever he needed to, so he always had them with him. Not just that, but he has a large variety of treasures on him and would occasionally exchange them for high quality essence stones.

The duo had already contacted Kyle while they were still staying at the tavern and Kyle was closer to them. But they planned to spend so ti with him, so they went to see Klaus' girlfriend first.

The duo spent almost a week at Luthera's place. She was still very low leveled, but with help of the item Klaus gifted her, Grey was certain she would be able to grow quickly.

After they were done with that, they had to travel over to where Kyle was located. It took two days, but they soon arrived in the region Kyle was in.

They soon arrived deep in a forest.

"Searching for treasures." Grey comnted as they arrived.

"Yeah, but this place has a strange feeling about it." Klaus frowned.

"That's because the air is poisoned. Don't tell you haven't sensed it yet?" Grey couldn't help but look at Klaus suspiciously, as if implying he was a fake Sovereign.

"Not everyone has your great senses bud, but see…" Klaus opened his palm and an ice made of black appeared on his palm, "But I have my ways too."

Grey gave Klaus a piercing look and he couldn't help but feel slightly astounded, there was a small layer around Klaus' skin. It was almost undetectable, if not for this thing Klaus did, he would've never noticed it. He had been with Klaus for over a week now, and he was just sensing this, to tell you how impeccable it was.

"You always keep it active, I see." He comnted, regaining his composure.

"Yeah, it's a technique I learned from my Faction and it's very easy for . It doesn't even overexert ." Klaus comnted.

"I see." Grey nodded, impressed.

"There's a thick miasma here. The fact that it has spread to this place shows that it's not simple." Grey looked into the depths of the forest, where Kyle was located and frowned, "We should hurry before he falls into danger."

Klaus nodded and followed Grey as they entered the place. The plan was to get to Kyle before it was too late.

So top experts have been left crippled due to being exposed to poison miasma for too long. Well, they didn't need to worry about that with Grey here, as long as Kyle is still alive, he could easily extract the miasma from his body.

Deep in the forest.

A group of Venerables in the Mid stages was surrounded by so Darkness Elental Magical Beasts.

"They're too many. How can we leave with it?" One of the Venerables said.

Individually, they were stronger, but the Magical Beasts had the number advantage.

Kyle looked at the situation, compared to Grey and his friends who made sure they didn't grow beards, Kyle was different. He grew beards, although he still looked very young, the beards gave him a slightly different look.

"Abandon it."
