Grey didn't know what was going through the minds of the young geniuses of the Lyttelton Family, all he had in his mind right now was dealing with the Elder before him. Grey's natural speed was frightening, when his figure was covered with red lightning, his visage gave off the view of a Lightning God surrounded by beautiful blue flas.

The thought of Grey fighting soone two stages above him in the Sovereign Plane and still being able to fight him to a point where there's no clear winner already says a lot about his talent. Just when they were waiting for the battle to get past its peak, Grey did sothing they didn't expect. An array appeared just below his right wrist, and with a twist of his right arm, a snake made from flas appeared. The strength of this snake was relatively stronger than Grey's previous attacks. The Elder didn't expect the sudden increase in Grey's attack power and was caught off-guard by this. Grey's attack finally rocked him, forcing him to take a step back. Seeing this, Grey didn't sit back, he felt this was the perfect opportunity to start an onslaught, and he did as he felt. From one strike to another, he was able to force the Elder back, making it hard for him to catch his breath. An opportunity presented itself, and Grey's figure bolted straight for the chance. Seeing this, the Elders all shook their heads. 'He's still too young.' This was the thought in their heads, even Grey's mother felt the sa. To the shock of everyone present, Grey didn't halt his movents, rather, his speed increased. "Crazy!"

"Arrogant fool!" So thought Grey was crazy, while others felt his talent had gotten to his head. Only a few could tell that Grey genuinely didn't believe that he had lost. The fire snake attacked the Elder from behind, and the Elder had no choice but to unleash his ice spikes. Given the distance and how he prepared, he didn't believe Grey would be able to block these ice spikes. Everyone held their breaths as they watched the ice spikes pierce through Grey's body. Seeing the attack pass through Grey's body, they thought it was him using an afterimage once again, even the Elder felt the sa and prepared to counter Grey after blocking the attack of the fire snake. However, he noticed sothing odd, the supposed afterimage shot at him at breakneck speed. The fire snake was still behind him, and he didn't think about setting up any defenses against the afterimage coming towards him. Swoosh! The sound of a powerful gust of wind resonated in the arena as Grey paused in front of the Elder, his fist was by the side of the head of the Elder, it was clear that he missed it on purpose. The gust of wind that kicked up was the impact of Grey's fist striking the air. The Elder held his breath as he felt the force behind that punch. He knew for a fact that if Grey's fist had connected with his head, he would one hundred percent be dead from it. "How?" This was the question in the mouths of a lot of people. Only those above the Eighth stage of the Sovereign Plane saw what he did perfectly. "Impressive." Elder Wigberht complinted before disappearing. The young geniuses all looked at the Elder confused. They didn't know how Grey was able to pass through the ice spikes which clearly passed through his body. It was evident to see that he wasn't injured, which ant that the ice spikes didn't harm him. So if they didn't harm him, does that an the Elder's attack was a fluke? Seeing the gazes of everyone placed on Grey and the confusion in the eyes of the younger generation, an Elder in the Ninth stage explained.

"Grey used his ability as a Space Elentalist to distort reality sowhat. It looks like he's there, but for a short mont, he was in a state where nothing can touch him, no attack will be able to hit him in such a state."

Even with the Elder's explanation, they still didn't understand how that was possible. "Simply put, he phased through the attack." When they heard the simple terms, they were flabbergasted. Phasing through an attack? How could that be possible? Doesn't that make one invincible against others? So of the youngsters felt that if Grey had made use of this ability at the start of the battle, he would've been able to defeat the Elder sooner. The Elder heard the other Elder's words, he looked at Grey and shook his head in defeat, "Interesting… I surrender." There's nothing else he could do, he had been defeated, which was a bit of a shock to him. When he found out two Elders were beaten by Grey, he felt like they were a disgrace, but now that he had fought with him, he couldn't help but be impressed by the youth standing before him. Grey is indeed special.
