Affinity: Chaos Chapter 1837 1837: Twilight Faction

Grey flew for a few days before getting to a City almost the size of Raging Flas City. At the mont, Grey had long left Raging Flas Territory. Over the past five months, he had been exploring the entire Region. This City is precisely the last City before leaving this Region. Although he barely had around four months left before he had to leave this place, Grey believed there was ti to explore a bit of the other Region.

This secret realm was divided into two Regions, with each Region having three Territories each. All three Territories in the Mythic Region have been explored by Grey, and he found only four of those beast cores during his travels. Of course, he didn't really explore the entire Region, just the places he would occasionally stumble upon or find out about in taverns while listening to the conversations of others.

Entering this City, he headed straight for a tavern as usual. Thanks to taking the space rings of the two City Lords who died during the battle against the Elental Warrior, he was quite wealthy. He found a good Inn, after listening to the conversations of others. Any conversation that catches his attention, he will secretly listen. If it's anything good, he would listen to the entire conversation, but once he notices the information isn't of any use to him, he switches to the next one.

The reason he decided to stay in an Inn instead of leaving the Region as planned was because he heard a useful piece of information. The information states that a powerful group of people will be passing by this City in a few days, and according to what was said, this group captured a powerful and strange Magical Beast.

Grey didn't have any interest in the group since the strongest person in this City was a Third stage Sovereign. Although this City was almost the sa size as Raging Flas City, it didn't have the sa number of powerhouses due to its location. The quality of the essence here isn't as potent as the one in places like Raging Flas City. In fact, Grey was certain that if the City Lord were to be soone who craved strength, they would never be able to remain in such a place.

The reason Grey's interest was piqued was because these people said the group caught a strange and unknown Magical Beast. Grey entered this place alongside multiple Dragons as well as a few other Magical Beasts. So of the more common Magical Beasts could be found here, but Grey hadn't seen anything remotely similar to Dragons in this world. The unknown Magical Beast could potentially be one of the Dragons that entered this place with Grey. Although he was not obligated to save it, it wouldn't do any harm if he could help a Dragon, after all, he already had a good relationship with them.

A few days went by in a flash and other than the first day Grey spent exploring the City, he didn't leave his room after that. Opting to stay inside and focus on his cultivation. Since becoming a Seventh stage Sovereign, he felt like he had hit a bottleneck. This wasn't the first ti he was experiencing sothing like this, so he didn't panic. Taking his ti, he started to improve his overall strength. He even decided to refine the darkness elental treasure he obtained from the ancient Faction the Pyrmond Faction went to train with.

While refining it on this day, he was disturbed by the sudden appearance of Void. Opening his eyes, he saw Void giving him a knowing nod.

"A Dragon?" He questioned.

"Not just one." Void replied with a serious expression. He was also a Magical Beast and knew what the ends of these captured Magical Beasts would be if they didn't help them.

"Let's go take a look." Grey stood up, putting a pause to his cultivation. Void nodded and disappeared after Grey stood up. He didn't need to walk around like Grey, directly drilling into Grey's spatial storage to hide with the bunny leader.

A few minutes of walking brought Grey to a large building. Outside the building, he noticed a large crowd, obviously they rushed here to see these strange Magical Beasts.

When Grey got there, he saw a red Dragon lying on the ground with chains on its neck. Its face had scars and even one of its horns was broken. Close to the red Dragon was a black Dragon that looked particularly imposing. Unfortunately, its faltering vitality made it look harmless.

Other than these two Dragons, Grey noticed three other Magical Beasts all either in cages or chains. The Dragons were too large to keep in cages, but the other Magical Beasts weren't.

Grey recalled seeing these two Dragons. Due to the low numbers of Dragons, Grey got a good look at all the Dragons that entered the secret realm. Of course, he didn't have any close relationship with them.

The two Dragons were both Late stage Rank Eight Magical Beasts, at least no weaker than a regular Seventh stage Sovereign, yet they were both captured. The other Magical Beasts didn't seem that powerful, having auras of only the Mid stages of the Eighth Rank.

Grey took his gaze away from the Magical Beasts, locking his eyes onto the figures of those who brought them over. Besides the Magical Beasts were a group of seven, all dressed in light brown clothings with a strange crisscrossing insignia on their clothings. He was unfamiliar with the insignia, but the people from this City weren't.

A gasp of shock ca beside Grey as he heard soone exclaim.

"It's the Twilight Faction!"

Grey's expression took a change when he heard this exclamation, the reason for this was because this wasn't the first ti he was hearing about this Faction. And the reason for this was because in the entire secret realm, the Twilight Faction is regarded as the number one Faction thanks to the powerhouse holding its forte, this powerhouse is said to be the strongest person in the secret realm.
