Chapter 1850: More Help

Lord Everard was not sure how to handle the matter. If these people were killed around the sa area, then he would know that Grey would not be too far away from where the cri took place. Unfortunately, this was not the case, each of these people were killed in different locations and according to the reports, there was no signs of struggle, nor any signs that it was a Magical Beast’s attack.

“Co with .” Lord Everard felt a headache, knowing fully well that Grey was ssing with them. Given Grey’s strange movent technique, it’s not an exaggeration to say he could co and go like a ghost in such a large forest. What he could not understand was how Grey is able to act even with his injuries. Three days is not short, but it is not long either and is definitely not enough ti for soone to recover from a few broken bones.

Taking the group of four, he flew in a certain direction. Godric followed them, a bit wary of Grey. He was the first to encounter him and during both etings, Grey has been able to take sothing from him and successfully retreat even when fighting against so many opponents. The first ti was not as spectacular as the second ti. The fact that Grey was able to take those Magical Beasts in front of them showed that he was confident they would not be able to capture or even kill him.

A few minutes later.

The group arrived at a desolate area in the forest that barely had any trees present. From above, this place was like a scar in the forest.

A figure could be seen sitting, from a distance, it was unknown if this was a living being or a statue. Even after getting close, they could still barely sense the presence of this figure even though they could clearly see him.

Sitting in a cross-legged position, a handso middle aged man could be seen, both his eyes were closed shut, without opening his eyes, he asked, “I assu you have news of the boy.”

Lord Everard is used to seeing this middle aged man acting aloof, and although they were both Elders of the Twilight Faction, the latter was stronger being a Peak Sovereign while Lord Everard is still a Ninth stage Sovereign. He told him what was reported and his speculations.

The middle aged man squinted his eyes, shocked at the fact that Grey could kill so many people in such far distances within such a short ti. What alard him is not the fact that Grey could kill them, but the fact that he could move freely in this place without alerting anyone while doing as he pleases. He might not look it, but a large area is currently under the watch of his Spiritual Sense, at least a fifty kiloters radius, yet he did not sense Grey’s presence.

“Looks like we indeed need Grand Elder Galahad.” The middle-aged man said after so speculation.

“I was thinking the sa, Eadwold.” Lord Everard nodded. He was the one who insisted that Elder Eadwold, who is a Peak Sovereign, contact the Grand Elder for help. Elder Eadwold only obliged after Lord Everard’s repeated requests.

“But we will need to make sure he is still here before Grand Elder cos. You know he is only interested in the array formation you spoke of.” Elder Eadwold frowned, feeling a bit concerned. When he was told Grey had the ability to disappear and appear at will, he thought they were exaggerating it, but now, soone was killed within forty kiloters of him, a region where the slightest energy ripple would have been sensed by him, yet he did not sense anything when this person was killed. This proved that Grey does not only have a top tier movent technique, but also a top notch concealnt technique too.

“We will need to investigate the places they were killed, maybe we can find a clue there.” This was the only choice they had at the mont as there was no way to know the general direction Grey might be due to the reports.

“You two take the northern part of the forest. Godric, we will need the help of your companions. If he’s as strong as you say he is, then moving in groups is the best choice for you guys. Also, anyone below the Seventh stage should evacuate, they are not needed.” Elder Eadwold spoke nonstop.

When he was done giving out orders, he was led away by one of the four who ca along with Lord Everard and Godric. He did not know the place where the corpses were found, so he needed help. The reason he told everyone below the Seventh stage to leave is because from what he could tell, they will only end up dead in this place. He had never seen Grey, but the latter piqued his curiosity.

While those from the Twilight Faction increased their search for Grey, he was comfortably flickering through the woods without any difficulty. Moving through the forest with such speed should attract the Twilight Faction since they were spread across the forest. However, thanks to the bunny leader, Grey is always aware of his surroundings and always dodges places with too many people. Even the tis he finds one person, as long as it’s not a Seventh stage Sovereign and below, he cautiously avoids them.

It was soon nightfall, and Grey was already well over seven hundred kiloters away from the lake where he hid the Magical Beasts. According to his map, given the direction he picked, he should be able to exit the forest within another six hundred or so kiloters. The forest is thousands of kiloters in size and if he wants to explore the entire forest, he will need a few weeks.

A few hours later, as Grey’s figure exited the forest, a streak of lightning was racing through the woods, hurriedly heading in the direction Grey exited the forest. A hundred and thirty kiloters away from where Grey exited the forest, the streak of light stopped, showing the appearance of the person covered by the light. It was a man who looked to be in his fifties, and his well-built body, over two ters tall, was hidden under his robes. He bent down to inspect a tree stump. Closing his eyes, he kept silent for a few seconds before opening them and looking in the direction Grey used in exiting the forest in confusion. Just as he was about to leave, he paused.

“Why are you here?” The figure looked at a tree and asked in a cold voice.

“I heard Everard found an interesting fellow, it’s only right I join in the fun.” A peal of laughter rang out as another figure walked out from behind a tree. This figure was half a ter shorter than the first one.

“Hmph!” The first figure snorted coldly, clearly not happy with the presence of the newcor.

“Galahad, don’t tell you are looking to keep this treasure for yourself.” The newcor sneered.

“We both know who regularly keep treasures for themselves.” The first figure referred to as Galahad replied coldly.

The newcor did not show any reactions to Galahad’s claim, only walking forward, “I heard the boy is only a Seventh stage Sovereign but is strong enough to rival a powerful Ninth stage Sovereign.”

“Should sothing like that be possible?” Galahad dropped his grudge and indulged in the conversation, after all, they were both here for the sa reason.

“Just like you, I’ve never heard of such a thing. I wonder which Force brought up such a monster.” The newcor said, clearly a bit curious about Grey’s identity.

“It doesn’t matter which Force he belongs to, he has killed mbers of our Faction ruthlessly and will be punished in accordance with our rules.” Galahad, although intrigued by Grey. He did not have any intentions to show him any friendliness.

“Of course he will be killed. I’m just curious where he ca from, that’s all.” The newcor shrugged, already used to Galahad’s behavior, with a serious expression he asked, “Looks like you’re caught in a spot.”

If Grey were to find out that not one, but two new Peak Sovereigns were added to the already frightening lineup, he would be blown away. Fortunately for him, he decided to act quickly and leave after finding out this Grand Elder Galahad was coming.

“This boy has a strange concealnt technique. I only managed to get a glimpse of his aura before it disappeared.” Galahad explained. Even after rushing here, he still could not pinpoint Grey’s location which proved that the latter was quite skilled.

“If even you are having a hard ti, then this boy is sothing else.” The other figure shook his head, although he did not like Galahad, he still will not deny the fact that his Spiritual Sense is inferior to the latter.
