Chapter 1910: Monstrosities
Reynolds found it hard to cope with the Gno and the Puppet at the sa ti while the Gno felt more relaxed, attacking freely. He knew he could not use his Puppet since if Grey were to forcibly cut off his connection to his Puppet would be detrintal to him in such a battle. As for the other Gnos, even if their connection was cut off from their Puppets, since they were not involved in the battle, it would not affect them too much, and as long as they defeated Grey and Reynolds, they would be able to reform the link with their Puppets, although it would take a lot of effort, it was better than dying.
On Grey’s end, the Puppets sent his way had been dealt with in a short ti. The two Eighth stage Gnos were strong and distracted him most of the ti, the only opportunity he got during the fight he quickly took out the Puppets. Even though the Puppets were not strong enough to harm him, they still distracted him, enough for the duo to capitalize on, slightly hurting him in the process.
The more ti the fight took, the more he felt frustrated at his inability to use the space elent. All his efforts to get close to the red robed Gno were futile as the duo he was fighting against did not give him the chance. They would rather sustain injuries than allow him take out the red robed Gno.
This was not the first ti they were fighting against a Space Elentalist, after all, although Space Elentalists were rare, none of them were as troubleso as Grey. His ability to switch places with one of their companions ant that he could easily change places when attacked, and anyone he switches places with will be unprepared, facing an attack that would most likely kill them in an instant.
The Lady was hidden in the void, watching Grey and Reynolds fight against the Gnos. When Reynolds rged with his Elental Warrior, she was flabbergasted. She had never heard of or seen anyone capable of doing this even with her age. Grey switching places with a Gno shocked her, but not on the sa level as Reynolds rging with his Elental Warrior. It was not that she did not find the ability outstanding, but from a look, she saw the flaw of it. Grey could easily change places with people weaker than himself, if he had tried it with either of the two Eighth stage Gnos, he would have failed as either of the duo would be able to easily sense and resist it. As long as they could resist it, then it would fail and he would be forced to face the attacks.
She knew Grey knew this too, hence the reason he did not try to switch places with either of the duo in the Eighth stage, and picked one of the weaker Gnos who could not react in ti. In short, this was a good ability when faced against multiple opponents weaker than oneself, as soon as the opponents can form even a bit of resistance, then the skill was worthless. Of course, it was still a shocking technique to witness.
She noticed the red robed Gno interfere with the void in this area and did not try to stop it. There was no reason for her to worry, an item like this would not be able to stop her from using the space elent, and this level of disruption is not sothing that would bother her. The sa could not be said for Grey who was not as strong as she was.
Seeing how Grey was dealing with the duo in the Eighth stage, she was genuinely impressed. The two Gnos were not the average Eighth stage Sovereigns, and the chances of them being hundreds of years old could not be taken out of the picture, yet Grey is able to actually deal with both, suffering minimal damages while also being distracted by the Puppets and being unable to use one of his major elents.
As she watched Grey use one elent after another, she could not help but wonder just how many elents this young man was capable of wielding. She saw him use the space, lightning, fire, wind, water, and earth elent. This was six elents, and although it was quite faint, she faintly sensed he used the darkness elent when the Puppets controlled by the Gnos gathered in the corner stopped moving.
‘Is it possible that he has seven elents?’ She was still okay with him having six elents, there are records of people having five elents, so the possibility of soone having six elents was well within reason. Seven elents however, is unheard of and completely unbelievable.
‘Maybe it’s the Gnos.’ She thought to herself as she studied Grey, trying to see if her senses played tricks on her. As the battle continued, she did not see him use the darkness elent, and she heaved a sigh of relief.
Grey was already outstanding as it is, if he were to have seven elents, she might go dumb from shock.
It’s unknown how her reaction would be if she were to find out Grey not only had the darkness elent, but also the light elent as well, making up all eight elents.
The Lady was thinking of Grey and Reynolds’s shocking battle prowess when she sensed the arrival of Klaus and Alice who went the other way to wipe out the weaker Gnos.
The Gnos in the Eighth stage sensed the fast approaching auras of Alice and Klaus and exchanged glances, their expressions sour. They could tell that the two people approaching were the ones who caused the shaking so minutes ago.
Grey heaved a sigh of relief when he sensed the aura of the duo.
The red robed Gno also sensed this and hurriedly brought out a disk, tapping it, a brownish glow shot out from it, rushing to the entrance of the area.
Grey knew the Gno wanted to block the path, a smile appeared on his face as a two-colored fusion orb shot straight at the brownish glow. The fusion orb did not explode as expected, rather, it imploded, dragging all the energy from the brownish glow into it and disappearing into thin air.
“What did you do?!” The red robed Gno yelled in shock. This was the first ti he was seeing sothing like this.
The Lady was also taken aback by Grey’s action. The two colored orb piqued her interest, and the manner with which Grey used it so casually to collapse the brownish glow was amazing. This was the first ti she was seeing soone use an attack to make another attack void. Grey’s experience in terms of fighting blew her away.
Alice was the first to reach the entrance, as soon as she arrived, she took a glance at Reynolds and Grey, before settling her eyes on the group on the side. Without a word, she rushed in their direction.
The Gnos were worried, and the red robed Gno tried to escape in the direction of the opening the Eighth stage Gnos ca out from, in hopes to escape.
Alice naturally would not give him that opportunity.
“Leave so for !” Klaus’s voice could be heard from outside, even before he entered the cave, the temperature had dropped significantly.
As soon as Klaus entered the cave, he looked at the group Alice went after before taking a glance at Grey, a smile appeared on his face as he rushed in their direction. He did not want to fight those weaker Gnos, he had already killed so many under the Sovereign Plane, now that he had a strong opponent in sight, of course he was going to attack them.
The Lady who was watching from the side felt her eyes twitch as the group of four friends quickly made short work of the Gnos. She thought only Grey and Reynolds were the shocking talents in the group hence the reason Grey divided them in that manner, however, the arrival of Klaus and Alice shattered her view. This was the first ti in her life she was seeing four friends, each being a genius among their peers. From what she could tell, each of them could easily overpower their peers.
Klaus’s ice domain froze even the space, almost exposing her. Sothing the red robed Gno’s array formation could not do. One has to know that she was a Half God Plane expert and should have no problems with hiding in the presence of Peak Sovereigns without any of their attacks disrupting the space. Yet a Seventh stage Sovereign, almost froze her in the void, exposing her.
‘How did this small place produce such talents?’ She did not think too much of Grey’s monstrosity, he was the son of Lucas Dawson, after all, and even his mother was a generational talent, so being this talented is not out of the question. His friends were a different story, they were all born in this small continent, and from what she knew, the essence in this place could barely produce a single Sage Plane Elentalist in a hundred years, much less geniuses of this level.
